o−クレゾールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂(日本化薬社製、EOCN−104S)
(燃料低透過層用材料の調製)
PPS(A成分)85重量部(以下「部」と略す)に対して、酸変性ポリオレフィン系樹脂(B成分)6部と、未変性ポリオレフィン系樹脂(C成分)6部と、エポキシ樹脂(D成分)3部とを添加し、よく混合した後、二軸押出機を用いて290〜320℃の温度で溶融混練して、燃料低透過層用材料(ペレット化したもの)を調製した。
最内層用押出機、内層用押出機、燃料低透過層用押出機および外層用押出機から各材料を押し出して1つのダイに合流させ、これをサイジングダイスに通すことにより、最内層、内層、燃料低透過層、外層が順次積層形成されてなる燃料ホース(内径6mm、外径8mm)を作製した。その後、得られた燃料ホースを熱老化槽に入れ、130℃×1時間アニール処理を行った。
燃料低透過層用材料もしくは内層用材料,外層用材料を、下記の表1〜表3に示す組み合わせに変更する以外は、実施例1と同様にして、燃料ホースを作製した。
長さ10mの燃料ホース(内径6mm)の両端部を、円錐状の治具を用いて、燃料ホース端部内径が10mmになるように拡径した後、端部の外周をR処理した外径8mmの金属製パイプ(だだし、外径10mmに拡径されたバルジ加工部を2箇所有する)を2本準備し、上記燃料ホースの端部に1本ずつ圧入した。そして、一方の金属製パイプにはネジ式の目くら栓を装着し、他方の金属製パイプには金属製バルブを装着した。ついで、上記金属製バルブを装着した金属製パイプ側から、燃料ホース内にエタノール10体積%含有したインドレンガソリンを封入し、40℃で3000時間処理(なお、1週間毎に、エタノール10体積%含有したインドレンガソリンを交換)した。そして、CARB SHED法 DBLパターンで、3日間ガソリン透過量を測定し、ガソリン透過量が最大であった日の、燃料ホース1m当たりのガソリン透過量を算出した。なお、上記測定方法では、0.1mg/m/日が測定限界であるため、0.1mg/m/日未満であったものは「<0.1」と表記した。
各燃料ホースを長手方向に4分割し、そのうちの1つを用いて、内層と燃料低透過層との界面を剥離して層間接着力(内層/燃料低透過層)(N/cm)を測定した。同様に、燃料低透過層と外層との界面を剥離して層間接着力(燃料低透過層/外層)を測定した。なお、層間接着力が40N/cm以上であれば、層間接着性に優れている。
各燃料ホースを用い、JIS K7171に記載の3点曲げ試験に準拠し、支点間距離100mm、試験速度100mm/分で、10mm撓ますのに必要な応力を測定した。曲げ応力は、曲げ加工性の指標となるものであって、曲げ応力が小さい程、柔軟で曲げ成形しやすい。なお、曲げ応力が45N以下であれば、柔軟性に優れている。

Claims (6)
- フッ素系樹脂製最内層の外周面に、内層、燃料低透過層、外層が順次形成されてなる自動車用燃料系ホースにおいて、上記内層および外層が、アミン変性ポリアミド樹脂からなるとともに、上記燃料低透過層が、下記の(A)を主成分とし、下記の(B)〜(D)を含有する樹脂組成物からなり、上記樹脂組成物中の(B)の含有量が4〜12重量%、(C)の含有量が4〜12重量%、(D)の含有量が1.5〜5重量%であり、上記(B)と(C)との総含有量が12〜24重量%、(B)と(C)との重量混合比が、(B)/(C)=3/1〜1/3の範囲に設定され、かつ、上記燃料低透過層と、内層および外層とが化学反応を利用して接着されていることを特徴とする自動車用燃料系ホース。
(A)ポリフェニレンサルファイド樹脂。
(B)酸変性ポリオレフィン系樹脂。
(C)未変性ポリオレフィン系樹脂。
(D)エポキシ樹脂。 - 上記(B)の酸変性ポリオレフィン系樹脂が、無水マレイン酸変性エチレン−αオレフィン共重合体およびマレイン酸変性エチレン−αオレフィン共重合体の少なくとも一方である請求項1記載の自動車用燃料系ホース。
- 上記(C)の未変性ポリオレフィン系樹脂が、エチレン−αオレフィン共重合体である請求項1または2記載の自動車用燃料系ホース。
- 上記(D)のエポキシ樹脂が、o−クレゾールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂である請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の自動車用燃料系ホース。
- 上記最内層を形成するフッ素系樹脂が、官能基を有するフッ素系樹脂である請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の自動車用燃料系ホース。
- 上記内層、燃料低透過層および外層が、三層の共押出しにより形成されている請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の自動車用燃料系ホース。
