Description
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal device, a lock release method, and a program.
In mobile terminal devices such as mobile phones, prevent unauthorized use of mobile terminal devices by others, protect data privacy by preventing data leaks such as phone book data and e-mails, and place them in bags or pockets. One method of preventing erroneous operation of keys when carrying is a method of restricting the use of functions of a portable terminal device. This restriction on the use of the functions of the mobile terminal device is called “lock”. As a method for unlocking the mobile terminal device, a method of performing password authentication such as a password is generally used.
Locking is an effective method for preventing unauthorized use of a mobile terminal device by others, but if you want to use the functions of the mobile terminal device quickly, such as when you want to make a call in an emergency, you will need to spend more time entering the password. In other words, there is a problem that a desired function cannot be used promptly. In addition, there is a problem that it is a burden on the user to perform the unlocking operation every time in order to use frequently used functions such as browsing received mail. Due to these problems, even a mobile terminal device having a lock function is often not locked, and there is a risk of unauthorized use of the mobile terminal device by another person, or a risk of data leakage, or There was a risk of misoperation when carrying.
Therefore, in Patent Document 1, in order to make it possible to use a function frequently used by a user without unlocking, a plurality of levels are provided in the lock function of the mobile phone, and a function that can be used for each level is set. A technique for setting the lock level by the user is shown.
Further, in Patent Document 2 and Patent Document 3, for the purpose of protecting privacy when a plurality of users share a mobile phone, the functions of the mobile phone or a part of the data is unlocked according to the input password. The technology that can be used is shown. By using this technology, functions that are frequently used and functions that are to be used quickly can be made available in advance.
However, if the techniques of Patent Documents 1 to 3 are used and functions that are frequently used or functions that are desired to be used quickly are excluded from lock targets, privacy protection may be insufficient. . For example, if the lock of the mail browsing function is released, there is a possibility that an e-mail may be peeped by another person while the mobile terminal device is placed on the desk and left for a short time.
The present invention has been made in consideration of such circumstances, and its purpose is to reduce the burden of the user's unlocking operation when using a frequently used function, and to use the function quickly. An object of the present invention is to provide a portable terminal device that can protect the privacy while reducing the time required for the unlocking operation.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problem, and a mobile terminal device according to an aspect of the present invention receives a first character string input in a locked state that restricts the use of a plurality of functions or data. When the password authentication is successful, the state transits to an unlocked state in which all functions or data can be used, and in the locked state, a password is received upon receiving a second character string having fewer characters than the first character string. When the authentication is successful, the control unit transitions to a simple release state in which only a part of predetermined functions or data can be used, and in the state transition step, the simple release state is in the locked state. It is determined whether the function or data that can be used in the transition to is in a state where it can be used, and only when it is determined that it is in a state where it can be used, the transition to the simple release state And performing.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided an unlocking method for a mobile terminal device, which is used for password authentication by receiving input of a first character string in a locked state that restricts the use of a plurality of functions or data. If successful, transition to an unlocked state in which all functions or data can be used, and in that locked state, a second character string having fewer characters than the first character string is received and password authentication is successful. A state transition step for transitioning to a simple release state in which only a part of predetermined functions or data can be used, and in the state transition step, in the locked state, the state is changed to the simple release state. It is determined whether the function or data that can be used in the transition is in a usable state, and the transition to the simple release state is performed only when it is determined that the function or data is in a usable state. And performing.
In addition, the program according to one aspect of the present invention may be configured so that when the password authentication is successful when the mobile terminal device receives the input of the first character string in a locked state that restricts the use of a plurality of functions or data, all functions are performed. Alternatively, when a password is successfully authenticated upon receiving an input of a second character string having a smaller number of characters than the first character string in the locked state, the state is changed to an unlocked state in which data can be used. A function that allows a state transition step to transit to a simple release state in which only a part of functions or data can be used is executed, and in the state transition step, a function that can be used in transition to the simple release state in the locked state or data to determine whether the conditions which may be utilized, if it is determined that the conditions which may be utilized alone, in a program for causing a transition to the simple release state That.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, in the portable terminal device, the burden of the user's unlocking operation when using a frequently used function is reduced, and the time required for the unlocking operation of the function that the user wants to use quickly is reduced. , Can protect privacy.

In the unlocked state t1, the functions and data usage of the
On the other hand, in the locked state t2, the use of the mail function, outgoing call function, telephone book browsing function, etc. is restricted, and the user can cancel the incoming call function, unlock the
In the simple release state t3, the use restriction on the newly arrived unread mail browsing function is released from the functions restricted in the locked state. In addition, when all or part of the phone book data is not viewable in the locked state, for example, when the phone book data of a friend or the phone book data of a favorite store is not viewable, privacy protection The phone book data of a friend who has a relatively high need to remain is not viewable, and the phone book data of a favorite store with a relatively low need for privacy protection can be browsed. You may make it cancel.
In the unlocked state t1, for example, when the
In the lock state t2, the user selects either the unlock mode or the unlock mode. When the unlock mode is selected by the user and the release code is input, the transition r12 to the unlock state t1 is performed. Hereinafter, the transition r12 from the locked state t2 to the unlocked state t1 is referred to as “unlocked”. On the other hand, when the simple release mode is selected and the simple code is input by the user in the lock state t2, the transition r21 to the simple release state t3 is performed. Hereinafter, the transition r21 from the lock state t2 to the simple release state t3 is referred to as “simple release”. A function or data that can be used by simple cancellation is referred to as “object of simple cancellation”.
In a simple release state t3, when a predetermined condition is satisfied, such as an operation input indicating the end of use of a function that has become available by simple release, a transition r22 to the lock state t2 is performed. On the other hand, in the simple release state t3, when unlocking is selected by the user and a release code is input, a transition r31 to the unlocked state t1 is performed.

In the example of FIG. 3, the mode selection screen includes an icon i31 indicating simple release and an icon i32 indicating unlock. The user uses the direction key 253 to select either the icon i31 indicating simple release or the icon i32 indicating lock release, and presses the
When the direction key 253 is pressed while the icon i31 indicating simple release is selected, simple release is selected. On the other hand, when the direction key 253 is pressed with the icon i32 indicating unlocking being selected, unlocking is selected.

FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating an example of a simple code input screen displayed on the
As described above, since the simple code is set to have a smaller number of characters than the release code, the user can input the simple code faster than the input of the release code. Thereby, the use restriction of the function can be released more quickly, and the burden of the user's code input can be reduced.
Next, a processing procedure in which the

In the process of FIG. 6, the

When there are a plurality of newly arrived unread mails, only the latest mail may be displayed in the simple release state, or all newly arrived unread mails may be displayed. If only the latest mail is displayed, it is possible to minimize information leakage when another person steals the mobile
Next, the

As described above, the
Further, in step S11 of FIG. 7 , it is determined whether or not there is a newly arrived unread mail. Only when it is determined that there is a newly arrived unread mail, the newly unread mail browsing function can be simply canceled so It is determined whether the function or data that can be used is in a usable state, and only when it is determined that the function or data is in a usable state, the
In addition, when the simple release state is maintained for a predetermined time, the
The application range of the present invention is not limited to the above-described mobile phone. For example, it may be a portable terminal device having a plurality of functions such as a notebook having a mail function or a word processor function, or a portable terminal device storing a plurality of data.
In the above, the case where the function that becomes available due to the occurrence of a certain event is targeted for simple cancellation has been described by taking the newly arrived unread mail browsing function that can be used by receiving mail as an example. A function that can be used even if a specific event does not occur, such as an imaging function using the above (hereinafter referred to as “always available function”), may be a target of simple cancellation. In this case, the

Hereinafter, step S72 to step S74 are the same as step S32 to step S34 of FIG. 8, and step S81 to step S84 are the same as step S41 to step S44 of FIG. If it is determined in step S73 that the lock condition is not satisfied (step S73: NO), and if the input code does not match the release code stored in the
As described above, functions that can always be used can also be targeted for simple unlocking, and in the same manner as described above, when a function that can be used upon occurrence of a certain event is targeted for simple unlocking, the user can unlock it. The operation burden can be reduced, and the time required for the unlocking operation can be shortened. For example, it can be expected that the user can take an image without missing a photo opportunity by reducing the time required for the unlocking operation with the imaging function using the
