Description
Claims (16)
- IPTVサービスプロバイダのドメイン(2,2B)の外部に位置する外部ドメイン(3,3B)からのコンテンツにIPTVセットトップボックス(4,4B)がアクセスするための方法であって、
前記IPTVセットトップボックス(4,4B)からネットワークノード(1,1B)への、特定したコンテンツの配信詳細情報を含む取り出し要求であって、前記外部ドメイン(3,3B)から必要なコンテンツを取り出す前記取り出し要求を受信するステップと、
前記外部ドメイン(3,3B)から前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)へ前記必要なコンテンツを取り出すステップと、
前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)において、前記外部ドメインからの前記必要なコンテンツを、前記配信詳細情報を適用することによって、前記IPTVセットトップボックスを介してアクセス可能な形式へ変換するステップと、
前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)から前記IPTVセットトップボックス(4,4B)へ、前記変換したコンテンツを配信するステップと
を含み、
前記必要とされる配信詳細情報は、マルチキャストのトランスコーディング仕様を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記必要なコンテンツは、前記外部ドメイン(3,3B)のメデイアコンテンツ配信ネットワーク(MCDN)からダウンロードされ、
前記取り出し要求は、前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)において、前記メデイアコンテンツ配信ネットワーク(MCDN)に適した形式に変換されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記必要とされる配信詳細情報は、ビットレート、解像度、又はコーデックを含む、前記IPTVセットトップボックスに適した、必要なコンテンツの形式を含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記必要とされる配信詳細情報の少なくとも一部は、前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)において予め格納されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記ネットワークノード(1)において、前記メデイアコンテンツ配信ネットワーク(MCDN)からのコンテンツに対して、内部シグナリング要求に起因したセッションを識別するセッションIDを生成するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記セッションIDは、前記配信詳細情報及びコンテンツの形式とともに前記セッションを集約するために前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)において使用されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)において、前記セッションIDと開始データ待ち行列へのポインタとを含む、テーブル(12)内のエントリをインスタンス化するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項5又は6に記載の方法。
- IPTVサービスプロバイダのドメイン(2,2B)の外部に位置する外部ドメイン(3,3B)からのコンテンツにアクセスするIPTVセットトップボックス(4,4B)に適した装置であって、
前記IPTVセットトップボックス(4,4B)からネットワークノード(1,1B)への、特定したコンテンツの配信詳細情報を含む取り出し要求であって、前記外部ドメイン(3,3B)から必要なコンテンツを取り出す前記取り出し要求を受信する手段と、
前記外部ドメイン(3,3B)から前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)へ前記必要なコンテンツを取り出す手段と、
前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)において、前記外部ドメインからの前記必要なコンテンツを、前記配信詳細情報を適用することによって、前記IPTVセットトップボックスを介してアクセス可能な形式へ変換する手段と、
前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)から前記IPTVセットトップボックス(4,4B)へ、前記変換したコンテンツを配信する手段と
を備え、
前記必要とされる配信詳細情報は、マルチキャストのトランスコーディング仕様を含むことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記必要なコンテンツは、前記外部ドメイン(3,3B)のメデイアコンテンツ配信ネットワーク(MCDN)からダウンロードされ、
前記取り出し要求は、前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)において、前記メデイアコンテンツ配信ネットワーク(MCDN)に適した形式に変換されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記必要とされる配信詳細情報は、ビットレート、解像度、又はコーデックを含む、前記IPTVセットトップボックスに適した、必要なコンテンツの形式を含むことを特徴とする請求項8又は9に記載の装置。
- 前記必要とされる配信詳細情報の少なくとも一部は、前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)において予め格納されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記ネットワークノード(1)において、前記メデイアコンテンツ配信ネットワーク(MCDN)からのコンテンツに対して、内部シグナリング要求に起因したセッションを識別するセッションIDを生成する手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項8乃至11の何れか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記セッションIDは、前記配信詳細情報及びコンテンツの形式とともに前記セッションを集約するために前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)において使用されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)において、前記セッションIDと開始データ待ち行列へのポインタとを含む、テーブル(12)内のエントリをインスタンス化する手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項12又は13に記載の装置。
- IPTVサービスプロバイダのドメイン(2,2B)の外部に位置する外部ドメイン(3,3B)からのコンテンツにアクセスするIPTVセットトップボックス(4,4B)に適したネットワークノード(1,1B)であって、
特定したコンテンツの配信詳細情報を含み、前記外部ドメイン(3,3B)から必要なコンテンツを取り出す要求を受信する手段と、
前記外部ドメイン(3,3B)から、前記必要なコンテンツを取り出す手段と、
前記外部ドメインからの前記必要なコンテンツを、前記配信詳細情報を適用することによって、前記IPTVセットトップボックスを介してアクセス可能な形式へ変換する手段と、
前記ネットワークノード(1,1B)から、前記変換したコンテンツを配信する手段と
を備え、
前記必要とされる配信詳細情報は、マルチキャストのトランスコーディング仕様を含むことを特徴とするネットワークノード。 - 請求項1乃至7の何れか1項に記載の方法における各ステップをコンピュータに実行させるためのプログラム。
