Description
図1は、本実施の形態に係る静電容量式近接センサ装置の構成図である。同図に示すように、本実施の形態に係る近接センサ装置は、被検出体の近接を検出するセンサ部11と、このセンサ部11によって検出された出力信号を基に被検出体位置情報を算出する制御回路部12とを備える。
Claims (13)
- 隣接電極間で容量を形成するように検出基準面内に配置され、前記検出基準面に属するX軸方向に対向配置されたX軸内部電極対と、前記検出基準面に属し、前記X軸方向と直交するY軸方向に対向配置されたY軸内部電極対とを含んでなる複数の内部電極と、
隣接電極間で容量を形成するように、前記複数の内部電極の外周に配置された外部電極と、
前記複数の内部電極及び前記外部電極のうち、駆動電極となる電極に印加する駆動電圧を出力する駆動回路と、
前記複数の内部電極及び前記外部電極のうち、検出電極となる電極から出力された信号を検出する検出回路と、
前記検出回路の検出結果から被検出体の前記X軸方向、前記Y軸方向及び前記基準面に垂直なZ軸方向の被検出体位置を演算する演算手段と、
前記駆動電極となる電極を前記駆動回路に接続し、前記検出電極となる電極を前記検出回路に接続すると共に、前記複数の内部電極及び前記外部電極のうち、遮蔽電極となる電極を接地する切替え手段とを具備することを特徴とする静電容量式近接センサ装置。 - 前記切替え手段は、
前記複数の内部電極のうち少なくとも1つを前記検出電極として前記検出回路に接続し、前記外部電極の少なくとも1つを前記遮蔽電極として接地する第1の検出パターンと、
前記外部電極の少なくとも1つを前記検出電極として前記検出回路に接続する第2の検出パターンとに対応して前記複数の内部電極及び前記外部電極の接続状態を切替え、
前記演算手段は、
前記第1の検出パターンにおいて検出した第1の被検出体位置情報と、
前記第2の検出パターンにおいて検出した第2の被検出体位置情報とを用いて被検出体位置を算出することを特徴とする請求項1記載の静電容量式近接センサ装置。 - 前記外部電極は、
前記複数の内部電極の検出面側よりも前記Z軸方向に突出してなることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の静電容量式近接センサ装置。 - 前記外部電極は、
前記複数の内部電極の検出面側近傍の高さ位置で、前記内部電極側に折り返されるように延出された延出部を有することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の静電容量式近接センサ装置。 - 前記外部電極は、
前記X軸内部電極対の外側に対向配置されたX軸外部電極対と、
前記Y軸方内部電極対の外側に対向配置されたY軸外部電極対とを含んでなることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の静電容量式近接センサ装置。 - 前記第2の検出パターンにおいて、
前記各内部電極対を遮蔽電極として接地し、
前記X軸外部電極対を前記検出電極として前記検出回路に接続すると共に、
前記Y軸外部電極対を前記駆動電極として前記駆動回路に接続して検出し、
検出対象方向に応じて前記各外部電極対の接続状態が前記検出電極又は前記駆動電極となるように切替えることを特徴とする請求項2から請求項5のいずれかに記載の静電容量式近接センサ装置。 - 前記第1の検出パターンにおいて、
前記各外部電極対を遮蔽電極として接地し、
前記X軸内部電極対を前記検出電極として前記検出回路に接続すると共に、
前記Y軸内部電極対を前記駆動電極として前記駆動回路に接続して検出し、
検出対象方向に応じて前記各内部電極対の接続状態が前記検出電極又は前記駆動電極となるように切替えることを特徴とする請求項2から請求項6のいずれかに記載の静電容量式近接センサ装置。 - 前記第1の検出パターンにおいて、
X軸方向の検出では、前記X軸内部電極対のうちの一方の内部電極と前記X軸外部電極対のうち当該X軸内部電極対のうち他方の内部電極側に配置された他方の外部電極とを第1内外電極対とし、前記X軸内部電極対のうちの他方の内部電極と前記X軸外部電極対のうち当該X軸内部電極対のうち一方の内部電極側に配置された一方の外部電極とを第2内外電極対とし、
前記Y軸外部電極対を遮蔽電極として接地すると共に、前記Y軸内部電極対を前記駆動電極として前記駆動回路に接続した状態において、
前記第1内外電極対が前記検出電極、前記第2内外電極対が前記遮蔽電極となる第1の接続状態と、前記第2内外電極対が前記検出電極、前記第1内外電極対が前記遮蔽電極となる第2の接続状態とを切替えて検出し、
検出対象方向に応じて前記各内部電極対、前記外部電極対、前記第1電極対及び前記第2電極対の接続を切替えることを特徴とする請求項2から請求項7のいずれかに記載の静電容量式近接センサ装置。 - 前記第1の検出パターンにおいて、
前記各外部電極対を遮蔽電極として接地し、
少なくとも1つの内部電極を前記検出電極として前記検出回路に接続し、
残りの内部電極を前記駆動電極として前記駆動回路に接続すると共に、
前記検出電極及び前記駆動電極となる内部電極を順次切替えて検出することを特徴とする請求項2から請求項8のいずれかに記載の静電容量式近接センサ装置。 - 前記第1の検出パターンにおいて、
前記X軸内部電極対及び前記X軸外部電極対を検出電極として検出回路に接続すると共に、前記Y軸内部電極対及び前記Y軸外部電極対を駆動電極として駆動回路に接続して検出し、
検出対象方向に応じて前記各内部電極対及び前記各外部電極対の接続状態が前記検出電極又は前記駆動電極となるように切替えることを特徴とする請求項2記載の静電容量式近接センサ装置。 - 前記第1の検出パターンにおいて、
少なくとも1つの前記内部電極と当該内部電極の外側に配置された前記外部電極とを前記検出電極として前記検出回路に接続し、
残りの内部電極と外部電極とを前記駆動電極として前記駆動回路に接続すると共に、
前記検出電極及び前記駆動電極となる前記内部電極及び前記外部電極の組を順次切替えて検出することを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項10に記載の静電容量式近接センサ装置。 - 請求項1から請求項11のいずれかに記載の静電容量式近接センサ装置を備えたこと
を特徴とする電子機器。 - 隣接電極間で容量を形成するように基準面内に配置され、前記基準面に属するX軸方向に対向配置されたX軸内部電極対と、前記基準面に属し、前記X軸方向と直交するY軸方向に対向配置されたY軸内部電極対とを含んでなる複数の内部電極と、
隣接電極間で容量を形成するように、前記複数の内部電極の外周に配置された外部電極と、
前記複数の内部電極及び前記外部電極のうち、駆動電極となる電極に印加する駆動電圧を出力する駆動回路と、
前記複数の内部電極及び前記外部電極のうち、検出電極となる電極から出力された信号を検出する検出回路と、
前記検出回路の検出結果から被検出体の前記X軸方向、前記Y軸方向及び前記基準面に垂直なZ軸方向の被検出体位置を演算する演算手段と、を具備した静電容量式近接センサ装置における電極駆動方法であって、
検出パターンに応じて前記外部電極の接続状態が前記遮蔽電極又は前記検出電極となるように切替えることを特徴とする電極駆動方法。
