Description
Claims (8)
- マニホールド34上に圧力変換器パッケージ30が組み込まれるマニホールドアセンブリ32であって、
前記マニホールド34は、
複数個の液圧溝38を有する本体部36と、
各液圧溝38に対応して設けられる圧力ポート52の開口群が中央位置42に形成されるトッププレート48と、
を含み、
前記パッケージ30は、
1個の前記圧力ポート52に対応して設けられて、該圧力ポート52内の流体圧に対応する信号を発生する複数個の変換器24と、
前記した複数個の変換器24から前記信号を受信するプロセッサ62と、
前記した複数個の変換器24および前記プロセッサ62を収容し、前記トッププレート48の中央位置42に取り付け可能なハウジング64と、
を含むことを特徴とするマニホールドアセンブリ。 - さらに、前記本体部と前記トッププレートとの間に設けられたガスケット44を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記トッププレートは、前記複数個の圧力ポートを取り囲む複数個のカウンタボア54を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記複数個の変換器は、前記パッケージ内の少なくとも2個のサブパッケージ100内に設けられ、各サブパッケージは、前記した複数個の変換器の少なくとも1個とサブパッケージハウジング104とを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- マニホールド34を形成するステップと、前記マニホールド34上に組み込まれる圧力変換器パッケージ30を形成するステップと、を含むマニホールドアセンブリ32の製造方法であって、
前記マニホールド34を形成するステップは、
複数個の液圧溝を含む本体部36を形成するステップと、
各液圧溝38に対応して設けられる圧力ポート52の開口群が中央位置42に形成されたトッププレート48を形成するステップと、
を含み、
前記パッケージ30を形成するステップは、
1個の前記圧力ポート52に対応して設けられて前記圧力ポート52内の流体圧に対応する信号を発生する複数個の変換器24をハウジング64に組み込むステップと、
各変換器24から前記信号を受信するプロセッサ62を前記ハウジング64に組み込むステップと、
を含み、
前記製造方法は、
各変換器24が前記圧力ポート52の1個上に配置されるように、前記トッププレート48の中央位置42に、前記パッケージ30の前記ハウジング64を取り付けるステップを含むことを特徴とする製造方法。 - さらに、前記本体部と前記トッププレートとの間にガスケット44を配置するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の製造方法。
- さらに、前記トッププレート上の前記複数個の圧力ポートを取り囲む複数個のカウンタボア54を形成するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の製造方法。
- 変換器パッケージを形成する前記ステップはさらに、前記パッケージ内の、前記した複数個の変換器の少なくとも1個とサブパッケージハウジング104とを有する少なくとも2個のサブパッケージ100内に、前記複数個の変換器を設けるステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の製造方法。
