Description
本発明は、2008年8月8日に出願された米国特許仮出願番号第61/087,377号「A Reduced−Pressure Treatment System with Reservoir Control」なる名称の出願の利益を主張するものであり、すべての目的により本書に組み込まれる。
Claims (16)
- 患者の組織部位を治療する減圧治療システムであって、当該システムが、
前記組織部位に近接して配置するマニホルド部材と、
流体シールを前記マニホルド部材と前記患者の上に提供するオーバドレープと、
減圧を前記オーバドレープに送達する減圧サブシステムとを含み、
当該減圧サブシステムが、
流体を入れられる内部空間を有するリザーバと、
減圧を前記オーバドレープへ送達するために、前記内部空間と流体連通する減圧送達管と、
前記内部空間と流体連通するソース導管と、
前記内部空間と流体連通する圧力センサ管と、
前記圧力センサ管と流体連通する圧力センサと、
前記ソース導管と流体連通し、前記ソース導管に減圧を送達するよう動作可能な減圧源と、
前記減圧源および電源に接続される電力線と、
前記減圧源と前記電源の間で前記電力線の一部に接続される電力センサであって、減圧の供給率に関連する供給データ信号を測定するように構成された電力センサと、
前記圧力センサ、前記電力センサおよび前記減圧源に関連付けられた減圧制御ユニットとを含み、当該減圧制御ユニットが、前記圧力センサからの圧力データと前記電力センサからの供給データ信号とを受け取り、前記圧力データおよび前記供給データ信号に基づいて、リザーバが満杯状態または閉塞状態であるときを判定し、リザーバが満杯状態または閉塞状態であるときに、前記減圧源を停止させるよう動作可能であることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の患者の組織部位を治療するシステムにおいて、前記減圧制御ユニットがさらに、リザーバが満杯状態または閉塞状態であるとき、警報信号を送るよう動作可能であることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載の患者の組織部位を治療するシステムにおいて、前記圧力センサ管が、前記リザーバの上部近くに流体連通して配置されることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載の患者の組織部位を治療するシステムにおいて、前記減圧源が真空ポンプであることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載の患者の組織部位を治療するシステムにおいて、前記減圧源が真空ポンプであり、前記減圧制御ユニットがさらに、リザーバが満杯状態または閉塞状態であるとき、警報信号を送るよう動作可能であることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載の患者の組織部位を治療するシステムにおいて、前記減圧源が調節された壁面吸込みであることを特徴とするシステム。
- 減圧を提供し、流体を受ける減圧システムであって、
前記流体を入れられる内部空間を有するリザーバと、
減圧を送達するために前記内部空間と流体連通する減圧送達管と、
前記内部空間と流体連通するソース導管と、
前記内部空間と流体連通し、前記ソース導管から離れている圧力センサ管と、
前記圧力センサ管と流体連通する圧力センサと、
前記ソース導管と流体連通し、前記ソース導管に減圧を送達するよう動作可能な減圧源と、
前記減圧源からの減圧の送達率または計画された送達率に関連する供給データ信号を生成するように構成された供給センサと、
前記圧力センサ、前記供給センサおよび前記減圧源に関連付けられた減圧制御ユニットとを含み、当該減圧制御ユニットが、前記圧力センサからの圧力データと前記供給センサからの供給データ信号とを受け取り、リザーバが満杯状態または閉塞状態であるときを判定し、リザーバが満杯状態または閉塞状態であるときに、前記減圧源を停止させるよう動作可能であることを特徴とするシステム。 - 医療用途のための減圧を供給し、かつ流体を受ける減圧システムであって、
内部空間を形成するリザーバハウジングを有するリザーバと、
減圧を送達する減圧源であって、前記リザーバの内部空間と流体接続し、前記内部空間に減圧を送達するよう動作可能であり、制御信号に応答する減圧源と、
前記内部空間と流体接続する供給管と、
前記減圧源に供給される電力を示す信号Iを生成するよう動作可能な供給センサと、
前記内部空間と流体接続する圧力センサ管と、
前記圧力センサ管と流体連通する圧力センサであって、前記圧力センサと近い前記圧力センサ管における圧力レベルを示す信号Pを生成するよう動作可能な圧力センサと、
前記供給センサ、圧力センサ、および減圧源とに接続される減圧制御ユニットであって、前記供給センサからの信号Iと前記圧力センサからの信号Pとを受け取り、前記減圧源が、前記リザーバに所望の圧力を提供し、前記リザーバが満杯のときは停止するよう前記制御信号を調整する減圧制御ユニットとを含むことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項8に記載の減圧システムにおいて、
マイクロプロセッサと、
前記マイクロプロセッサに関連付けられた記憶装置と、
前記マイクロプロセッサに関連付けられた複数の入力装置であって、前記信号Pと前記信号Iとを受け取り、前記信号Pと前記信号Iとを利用可能な形式で前記マイクロプロセッサに供給する複数の入力装置と、
前記マイクロプロセッサに関連付けられた出力装置であって、前記マイクロプロセッサからの前記制御信号を受け取り、前記制御信号を前記減圧源に供給可能にする出力装置とを含み、
前記マイクロプロセッサと前記記憶装置とは、信号Pによって示される圧力値の絶対値が選択された圧力値よりも大きいかどうかを判定し、そうでない場合に、前記減圧源を作動させ、さらに、前記減圧源が所定期間より長い間、前記信号Pによって示される前記圧力値の絶対値を増加させることができない場合、前記制御信号を用いて前記減圧源を停止させ、リザーバ満杯または閉塞の信号を送るよう動作可能であることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項8に記載の減圧システムにおいて、前記圧力センサ管が、前記リザーバの上部近くに流体連通して配置されていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項8に記載の減圧システムにおいて、前記圧力センサ管および前記減圧源が、前記リザーバの上部近くに流体連通して配置されていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項8に記載の減圧システムであって、
マイクロプロセッサと、
前記マイクロプロセッサに関連付けられた記憶装置と、
前記マイクロプロセッサに関連付けられた複数の入力装置であって、前記信号Pと前記信号Iとを受け取り、前記信号Pと前記信号Iとを利用可能な形式で前記マイクロプロセッサに供給する複数の入力装置と、
前記マイクロプロセッサに関連付けられた出力装置であって、前記マイクロプロセッサからの前記制御信号を受け取り、前記制御信号を前記減圧源を制御するのに利用可能とする出力装置とを含み、
前記マイクロプロセッサと前記記憶装置とは、信号Pによって示される圧力値の絶対値が選択された圧力値よりも大きいかを判定し、そうでない場合に、前記減圧源を作動させ、さらに、前記減圧源からの減圧の送達を設定値に増加させた後、前記減圧源が設定期間より長い間、前記圧力値の絶対値が増加させることができない場合、前記減圧源を停止させ、リザーバ満杯または閉塞の信号を送るよう動作可能であることを特徴とするシステム。 - 減圧システムを製造する方法であって、
流体を入れられる内部空間を有するリザーバを形成するステップと、
減圧送達管を前記内部空間に流体接続するステップと、
減圧を前記内部空間に送達するためのソース導管を前記内部空間に流体接続するステップと、
圧力センサ管を前記内部空間に流体接続するステップと、
圧力センサを前記圧力センサ管に流体接続するステップと、
制御信号に応答する減圧源を提供するステップと、
前記減圧源を前記ソース導管に接続するステップと、
供給センサを前記減圧源に接続するステップであって、前記供給センサが、前記減圧源に供給される電力を示す供給データを生成するように構成されるステップと、
前記圧力センサからの圧力データと前記供給センサからの供給データとを受け取り、リザーバが満杯状態または閉塞状態であるときを判定し、リザーバが満杯状態または閉塞状態である場合に、前記減圧源を停止させるよう動作可能である減圧制御ユニットを提供するステップと、
当該減圧制御ユニットを前記圧力センサと前記供給センサと前記減圧源とに関連づけるステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項13に記載の減圧システムを製造する方法において、減圧制御ユニットを提供するステップがさらに、制御ユニットを提供するステップを含み、当該制御ユニットが、
マイクロプロセッサと、
前記マイクロプロセッサに関連付けられた記憶装置と、
前記マイクロプロセッサに関連付けられた複数の入力装置であって、前記信号Pと前記信号Iとを受け取り、前記信号Pと前記信号Iとを利用可能な形式で、前記マイクロプロセッサに送達する複数の入力装置と、
前記マイクロプロセッサに関連付けられた出力装置であって、前記マイクロプロセッサからの前記制御信号を受け取り、前記制御信号を前記減圧源を制御するのに利用可能とする出力装置とを具え、
前記マイクロプロセッサと前記記憶装置とは、信号Pによって示される圧力値の絶対値が選択された圧力値よりも大きいかどうかを判定し、そうでない場合に、前記減圧源を作動させ、さらに、前記減圧源が所定期間より長い間、前記信号Pによって示される前記圧力値の絶対値を増加させることができない場合、前記制御信号を用いて前記減圧源を停止させ、リザーバ満杯または閉塞の信号を送るよう動作可能であることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項14に記載の減圧システムを製造する方法において、圧力センサ管を接続するステップが、前記圧力センサ管を、前記リザーバの上部近くに接続するステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項14に記載の減圧システムを製造する方法において、圧力センサを前記圧力センサ管に接続するステップが、前記圧力センサ管を、前記リザーバの上部近くに接続するステップを含み、ソース導管を前記内部空間に接続するステップが、前記ソース導管を前記リザーバの上部近くに接続するステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
