前記流体浸透性本体の前記第1の非平面外表面上に複数の高くされた微小規模の機構
を備える、装置。 - 前記複数の高くされた微小規模の機構の各々は端部を含み、前記端部は、前記流体浸透性本体の前記第1の非平面外表面からある距離だけ離間して配置され、前記端部は集合的に超疎水性表面を形成する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記流体浸透性本体はモノリシックであり、かつ複数の前記高くされた微小規模の機構は前記流体浸透性本体とモノリシックである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 別の複数の高くされた微小規模の機構を前記流体浸透性本体の前記第2の外表面上に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記流体浸透性本体の前記第1の非平面外表面は流体封じ込め構造体を形成し、前記流体封じ込め構造体は流体浸透性導管または流体浸透性空洞である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 第1の外表面を有し、かつ前記第1の外表面とは別の方向を向いた第2の外表面を有する剛体の流体浸透性本体と、
前記流体浸透性本体内の複数の流体浸透性セルとを備え、前記流体浸透性セルの各々は前記第1の外表面に開口部と、前記第2の外表面に別の開口部とを有し、前記流体浸透性セルの各々は前記第1および第2の外表面両方内の前記開口部と連通する流体通路を画成するセル壁を有し、さらに、
前記第1の流体浸透性本体の前記第1の外表面上の複数の高くされた微小規模の機構と、
前記第2の流体浸透性本体の前記第2の外表面と共に、流体封じ込め構造体を形成する流体封じ込め本体と
を備える、装置。 - 前記流体浸透性本体はモノリシックであり、かつ複数の前記高くされた微小規模の機構は前記流体浸透性本体とモノリシックである、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 別の複数の高くされた微小規模の機構を前記流体浸透性本体の前記第2の外表面上に含む、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 第1の流体封じ込め構造体を形成し、かつ互いに反対の方向を向いた第1および第2の外表面を有する剛体の流体浸透性本体と;前記第1および第2の外表面両方内の開口部と連通する通路を画成するセル壁を各々が有する、前記流体浸透性本体内の複数の流体浸透性セルと;前記流体浸透性本体上の前記第1の外表面上に位置し、かつ超疎水性表面を形成する、複数の高くされた微小規模の機構と;前記流体浸透性本体の前記第2の外表面と共に第2の流体封じ込め構造体を形成する、流体封じ込め本体とを含む装置を準備するステップと、
液体を前記第1の流体封じ込め構造体内に導入し、かつ流体を前記第2の流体封じ込め構造体内に導入し、それによって前記液体と前記流体との間で前記流体浸透性本体を介して相互作用が起きるのを可能にするステップと
を含む、方法。 - 第1の流体封じ込め構造体を形成し、かつ互いに反対の方向を向いた第1および第2の外表面を有する剛体の流体浸透性本体と;前記第1および第2の外表面両方内の開口部と連通する通路を画成するセル壁を各々が有する、前記流体浸透性本体内の複数の流体浸透性セルと;前記流体浸透性本体上の前記第1の外表面上に位置し、かつ超疎水性表面を形成する、複数の高くされた微小規模の機構と;前記流体浸透性本体の前記第2の外表面と共に第2の流体封じ込め構造体を形成する、流体封じ込め本体とを含む装置を準備するステップと、
液体を前記第1の流体封じ込め構造体内に導入し、ガス状流体を前記第2の流体封じ込め構造体内に導入し、かつ前記第1の流体封じ込め構造体内の圧力を、前記第2の流体封じ込め構造体内の圧力に対して、選択された範囲内に維持するステップと
を含む、方法。
