Claims (17)
- 患者の呼吸により発生する気体流量に関する媒介変数を監視する過程であって、監視される前記媒介変数は流速である、気体流量に関する媒介変数を監視する過程と、
前記患者による吸気の間、監視された前記媒介変数のピーク値に基づいて呼吸事象の始期の発生を検出する過程であって、前記呼吸事象の始期の発生の検出は、第1のセットの連続的な吸気に亘って、監視された前記媒介変数の前記ピーク値の減少に応答して為される、呼吸事象の始期の発生を検出する過程と、
前記第1のセットの連続的な吸気の後の、前記患者による吸気の間、監視された前記媒介変数のピーク値に基づいて前記呼吸事象の終期の発生を検出する過程であって、前記呼吸事象の終期の発生の検出は、第2のセットの連続的な吸気に亘って、監視された前記媒介変数の前記ピーク値の増加に応答して為される、呼吸事象の終期の発生を検出する過程と、
前記呼吸事象の始期の発生の検出に続く前記呼吸事象の終期の発生の検出に対応して呼吸事象を特定する過程と、
を含む処理過程を実行する処理装置を含む患者治療装置の作動方法。 - 前記気体流量に関する媒介変数を監視する過程は、気体の流速に対応する信号を発生する過程を含み、前記呼吸事象の始期の発生を検出する過程は、吸気間の信号波形を監視する過程を含む請求項1に記載の作動方法。
- 前記呼吸事象の始期の発生を検出する過程、前記呼吸事象の終期の発生を検出する過程又はその両方は、前記媒介変数とサンプルフォームの少なくとも一部とを比較する過程を含む請求項1に記載の作動方法。
- 前記呼吸事象の終期の発生を検出する過程は、更に、連続的な吸気間での、気体の最大流速の特定された増加量が閾値より大きいか否かを決定する過程を含む請求項1に記載の作動方法。
- 前記処理過程は更に、前記呼吸事象の特定に基づいて、前記患者に施す少なくとも一つの治療態様を調整する過程を含む請求項1に記載の作動方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの治療態様は、患者気道に送出される気体圧力、患者に気体流を供給する圧力発生装置が実施する動作又はその両方を含む請求項5に記載の作動方法。
- 患者の呼吸により発生する気体の流速を監視する過程と、
第1のセットの連続的な吸気と第2のセットの連続的な吸気とを含む、一連の吸気の間の流速のピーク値に基づいて呼吸事象を検出する過程であって、前記呼吸事象の発生の検出は、前記第1のセットの連続的な吸気に亘る流速のピーク値における第1の減少と、それに続く、前記第2のセットの連続的な吸気に亘る流速のピーク値における増大と、に応答して為される、呼吸事象を検出する過程と、
前記呼吸事象の検出に基づき、前記患者に施す1又は2以上の治療態様を調整する過程と、
を含む処理過程を実行する処理装置を含む患者治療装置の作動方法。 - 前記処理過程は、前記第1のセットの連続的な吸気に亘る流速のピーク値の減少の検出に基づいて、呼吸事象の始期の発生を検出する過程を更に含む、
請求項7に記載の作動方法。 - 前記呼吸事象を検出する過程は、前記第2のセットの連続的な吸気に亘る流速のピーク値の増加が続く、前記呼吸事象の始期の検出を含む請求項8に記載の作動方法。
- 前記呼吸事象を検出する過程は、更に、前記流速のピーク値の増加が、閾値より大きいか否かを決定する過程を含む請求項9に記載の作動方法。
- 前記1又は2以上の治療態様は、前記患者の気道に送出される気体の圧力を含む請求項7に記載の作動方法。
- 患者の呼吸により発生する気体の流速を表す媒介変数を供するセンサ装置と、
前記媒介変数のピーク値に基づいて呼吸事象の始期の発生を検出する事象始期手段であって、当該事象始期手段は、第1のセットの連続的な吸気に亘る、前記媒介変数のピーク値の減少に応答して、前記呼吸事象の始期の発生を検出するよう構成される、事象始期手段と、
前記媒介変数のピーク値に基づいて呼吸事象の終期の発生を検出する事象終期手段であって、当該事象終期手段は、第2のセットの連続的な吸気に亘る、前記媒介変数のピーク値の増加に応答して、前記呼吸事象の終期の発生を検出するよう構成され、前記第2のセットの連続的な吸気は、前記第1のセットの連続的な吸気に対して後である、時間期間に対応する、事象終期手段と、
前記呼吸事象の始期の発生の検出に続く前記呼吸事象の終期の発生の検出に応答して、前記呼吸事象を特定するよう適合された呼吸事象手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする患者の気道に呼吸気体の加圧流を供給する患者治療装置。 - 前記センサ装置は、気体の流速に相当する信号を生成する流量センサであり、事象始期手段は、吸気間の信号の形状を監視する請求項12に記載の患者治療装置。
- 前記事象終期手段は更に、前記第2のセットの連続的な吸気に亘る前記媒介変数のピーク値の増加が、閾値より大きいか否かを決定するよう適合される、請求項12に記載の患者治療装置。
- 前記呼吸事象の特定に基づき、前記患者に施す1又は2以上の治療態様と、前記患者に気体流を供給する圧力発生装置が実行する操作と、又はその両方とを調整するよう構成された、治療調整手段を更に備える請求項12に記載の患者治療装置。
- 前記治療調整手段は、前記呼吸事象を特定する前記呼吸事象手段に応答して前記患者の気道に供給される気体圧力を調整する請求項15に記載の患者治療装置。
- (a)媒介変数をサンプルフォームの少なくとも一部と比較して、前記事象始期手段が、呼吸事象の始期の発生を検出し、(b)媒介変数をサンプルフォームの少なくとも一部と比較して、事象終期手段が、呼吸事象の終期の発生を検出し、又は(c)上記(a)及び(b)の両方を行う請求項12に記載の患者治療装置。
