Description
[発明の背景]
本発明は、急速継手を含む流体管路系(fluid line systems)、より詳細には、2つの個別部品から形成されるコネクタ本体を有する急速継手に関する。
本発明を示す急速継手が図1〜図31に示されている。これは、剛性チューブと他の流体搬送部品、特にフレキシブルホースとの間の取り外し可能な接続部として示されている。しかしながら、継手には、加圧状態であろうと非加圧状態であろうと、流体経路の剛性部品の接続等、液密でありながら取り外し可能な接続が望まれる他の多くの用途がある。一例として自動車用の燃料送出システムがある。別例には、車両用の給油パイプ構造がある。
Claims (17)
- 流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手であって、
オス部材受け取り端部から軸方向後方に延びる貫通内孔を画定し、ほぼ円筒形のスペーサ部分を含む、リテーナハウジングと
該リテーナハウジングに固定され、ハウジング受け取り端部から軸方向後方に延びる貫通内孔を画定し、前記リテーナハウジングの前記スペーサ部分の上に重なるスペーサハウジング部分を含む、別個のステムと
を備えるコネクタ本体を備え、前記別個のステムの前記スペーサハウジング部分と係合し半径方向外方に延在する複数の突出部を備えた前記リテーナハウジングの前記スペーサ部分と前記スペーサハウジング部分とを圧着することで、前記突出部と前記スペーサハウジング部分との間に締まりばめが生じ、前記別個のステムが前記リテーナハウジングに対して回転することが防止される、流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。 - 前記スペーサ部分は、前記リテーナハウジングのうち前記オス部材受け取り端部の反対側の端部に位置付けられる、請求項1に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記リテーナハウジングの前記オス部材受け取り端部を通って前記リテーナハウジングの前記貫通内孔及び前記ステムの前記貫通内孔内に延びるオス部材をさらに備え、該オス部材は、ほぼ円筒形のシール面と、前記管状面の直径より大きい直径を有する環状アップセットとを有し、前記急速継手が、前記リテーナハウジング内に前記オス部材を固定するリテーナをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記リテーナハウジングは、前記ステムを形成する材料とは異なる材料でできている、請求項1に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記リテーナハウジングは、射出成形可能な材料でできている、請求項4に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記リテーナハウジングは、非金属材料でできている、請求項4に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記非金属材料は、高分子材料である、請求項6に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記リテーナハウジングは、金属材料でできている、請求項4に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記金属材料は、チクソトロピー構造を有する、請求項8に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記金属材料は、マグネシウム合金である、請求項8に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記ステムは、金属材料でできている、請求項1に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 半径方向で前記オス部材と前記ステムとの間に位置付けられるOリングをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記Oリングは、前記リテーナハウジングの前記スペーサ部分と同軸上にある、請求項12に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記リテーナハウジングの前記スペーサ部分は、前記Oリングの軸方向のすぐ前方に位置付けられる、請求項12に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記Oリングは、前記リテーナハウジングの前記スペーサ部分に取り付けられる、請求項12に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記Oリングは、該Oリングの上に前記スペーサ部分をオーバーモールドすることによって、該スペーサ部分に取り付けられる、請求項15に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
- 前記ステムの前記スペーサハウジング部分は、内面を画定し、前記ステムは、シール室部分及びチューブ端部受け取り部分をさらに含み、前記シール室部分は、前記スペーサハウジング部分の前記内面の直径より小さい直径を有する内面を画定し、前記チューブ端部受け取り部分は、前記シール室部分の前記内面の直径より小さい直径を有する内面を画定する、請求項1に記載の流体管路内で切り離し可能な接続部を形成するための急速継手。
