Description
図1は、本発明を適用した3次元立体映像表示システムの一実施の形態の構成例を示している。
図4および図5を参照して、3次元立体映像の表示制御について説明する。
図6は、表示装置11のタイミング信号送信制御についての機能構成例を示している。
図7は、タイミング信号送信制御のフローチャートを示している。この処理は、例えば、3次元立体映像の表示制御の開始に合わせて、開始することができる。
Claims (6)
- 3次元立体映像を知覚させる左眼用画像と右眼用画像を時分割で表示した場合に、左眼用画像を左眼に、右眼用画像を右眼に入力させるための左眼用シャッタと右眼用シャッタを駆動させるタイミング信号を複数方向に出力するタイミング信号出力手段と、
前記3次元立体映像を鑑賞する鑑賞者を撮像する撮像手段と、
前記撮像手段により撮像された画像から、前記鑑賞者の位置情報および人数情報を検出する検出手段と、
検出された前記位置情報および人数情報に基づいて、前記タイミング信号出力手段における前記タイミング信号の出力方向および出力レベルを制御する出力制御手段と
を備える表示装置。 - 前記出力制御手段は、前記位置情報が表す方向と前記人数情報に基づいて前記タイミング信号の出力方向を、前記位置情報が表す距離に基づいて前記タイミング信号の出力レベルを制御する
請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記撮像手段は、表示パネルの背面側の中央部に配置される
請求項1または2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記タイミング信号出力手段は、左方向、中央方向、右方向の方向ごとに配置される
請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の表示装置。 - 前記検出手段は、前記左眼用シャッタと右眼用シャッタを備えるシャッタメガネの個数および大きさを検出することにより、前記鑑賞者の位置情報および人数情報を検出する
請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の表示装置。 - 3次元立体映像を知覚させる左眼用画像と右眼用画像を時分割で表示した場合に、左眼用画像を左眼に、右眼用画像を右眼に入力させるための左眼用シャッタと右眼用シャッタを駆動させるタイミング信号を複数方向に出力するタイミング信号出力手段を備える表示装置が、
前記3次元立体映像を鑑賞する鑑賞者を撮像し、
撮像された画像から、前記鑑賞者の位置情報および人数情報を検出し、
前記タイミング信号出力手段における前記タイミング信号の出力方向および出力レベルを、検出された前記位置情報および人数情報に基づいて制御する
