Claims (10)
- バルーンカテーテルであって、
長尺状のシャフトであって、先端部を画定する先端領域、及び長尺状のシャフトを貫通して前記先端部まで延在するシャフトルーメンを有する、長尺状のシャフトと、
前記長尺状のシャフトの先端領域の周囲に配設され、かつ、先端くびれ部及び基端くびれ部を有するバルーンであって、バルーンの内部はシャフトルーメンと連通する、バルーンと、
前記バルーンを貫通してバルーンの先端くびれ部付近と基端くびれ部との間に延在するコイルであって、コイル内面及びコイル外面を有すると共に、コイルワイヤを備える、コイルと、
前記コイルワイヤを巻いてコイルを形成する前にコイルを被覆することによってコイルに配設されるポリマー被膜と、
前記コイル外面の周囲に配設されて、バルーンの先端くびれ部と基端くびれ部との間に延在するポリマー熱収縮体と、
前記バルーンの基端側で、前記先端領域内に配設されたガイドワイヤポートと、
前記ガイドワイヤポートから前記コイルまで延在して、前記バルーンの基端くびれ部付近においてコイルの内面に対して固定されるガイドワイヤルーメンと、を備えるバルーンカテーテル。 - 前記コイル内面は、前記ガイドワイヤルーメンの延長部を提供する請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記ポリマー被膜はポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記コイル内面は、ガイドワイヤが、長尺状のシャフトの先端部付近に配設された先端ガイドワイヤポートを通過することを可能にする請求項2に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 前記コイルワイヤは、巻かれる前にフラットリボンを備える請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
- 請求項5に記載のバルーンカテーテルを形成する方法であって、
フラットリボンコイルワイヤを設ける工程と、
前記フラットリボンコイルワイヤをフルオロポリマーで被覆する工程と、
コイルを形成するために、前記フラットリボンコイルワイヤを巻く工程と、
前記コイルの外面上で熱収縮体を加熱する工程と、
前記長尺状のシャフトの内部で前記コイルを固定する工程と、
前記長尺状のシャフトの周囲に前記バルーンを固定する工程とを含む方法。 - 前記フラットリボンコイルワイヤはステンレス鋼リボンワイヤを含む請求項6に記載の方法。
- フルオロポリマーはポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記熱収縮体はポリアミドを含む請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記フラットリボンコイルワイヤは、四辺を有する矩形断面プロファイルを有し、被覆されると四辺全てにフルオロポリマーを含む請求項6に記載の方法。
