Description
Claims (5)
- 多孔質セラミック物品を製造する方法において、
(a)焼成中に反応して耐火性セラミック相を生成するための、酸化物、複合酸化物、金属化合物およびそれらの混合物からなる群より選択される無機成分を含む基礎バッチ成分、反応性結合剤成分、および水性ビヒクルを含むセラミック押出バッチを配合する工程であって、
前記反応性結合剤成分が、
(1)セルロースエーテル一時的結合剤と、
(2)炭水化物細孔形成剤と、
(3)(i)イオネン反応性ポリマー結合剤、および(ii) メラニン架橋剤、ポリシクロアミド架橋剤、および前記炭水化物細孔形成剤を架橋させる化学架橋剤からなる群から選択される化学架橋剤、の前記(i)および(ii)のうちの少なくとも一方からなる活性結合剤成分とを含む、
セラミック押出バッチを配合する工程;
(b)前記押出バッチを可塑化してセラミックプリフォームに成形する工程;
(c)前記セラミックプリフォームを加熱して、前記反応性結合剤成分の各成分のうちで架橋反応を開始させ、前記プリフォームから水を除去して、乾燥セラミックプリフォームを提供する工程;および
(d)前記乾燥セラミックプリフォームを焼成して、前記一時的結合剤、前記反応性結合剤成分、および前記炭水化物細孔形成剤が除去されている多孔質セラミック物品を形成する工程;
を有してなることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記活性結合剤成分がコロイド状アルミナをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記反応性結合剤成分が、少なくとも1種類のセルロースエーテル一時的結合剤、表面荷電アルミナコロイド、少なくとも1種類の炭水化物細孔形成剤、および少なくとも1種類のイオネン反応性ポリマー結合剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記基礎バッチ成分が、前記水性ビヒクルを除いて、前記押出バッチの83〜93質量%を構成し、焼成の際にコージエライトの主結晶相を生成する比率で、カオリン粘土、タルク、およびアルミナの各成分を含み、
前記反応性結合剤成分が、前記水性ビヒクルを除いた前記バッチの質量パーセントで表して、6〜13%の炭水化物細孔形成剤、0.5〜4%のコロイド状アルミナ懸濁液、0.10〜0.30%のイオネン反応性ポリマー結合剤、および0〜2%の化学架橋剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項2記載の方法。 - 前記基礎バッチ成分が、前記水性ビヒクルを除いて、前記押出バッチの86〜89質量%を構成し、
前記反応性結合剤成分が、8〜10%のデンプン炭水化物細孔形成剤、2〜3%のコロイド状アルミナ懸濁液、0.2〜0.3%のイオネン反応性ポリマー結合剤、および0.1〜0.5%の化学架橋剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項4記載の方法。
