ここで、上記ターボ処理部は、上記インターリーブされたデュアル伝送ストリームから上記ターボストリームを検出するターボストリーム検出部と、上記検出されたターボストリームに対するパリティを上記ターボストリーム内に設けられたパリティ挿入領域に挿入するアウターエンコーダーと、上記パリティが挿入されたターボストリームをインターリーブするアウターインターリーバと、上記インターリーブされたターボストリームを上記デュアル伝送ストリームに挿入して上記デュアル伝送ストリームを再構成するターボストリームスタッファ、及び、上記再構成されたデュアル伝送ストリームのパリティを再生成して、上記デュアル伝送ストリームに付加するパリティ補償部と、を含むことが好ましい。

A)はターボ処理部250からのパケットを意味し、B)はRS再エンコーダされたパケットを意味し、C)は加算器430を利用してA)とB)を排他的論理和(Exclusive OR)した結果を意味する。A)で下線表示された部分がトレリスエンコーダーブロック410に入力された時に初期化が行われる。この場合、トレリスエンコーダーブロック410内に予め記憶された値に対応する値がRSリエンコーダー420に提供され、RSリエンコーダー420は、該提供された値にパリティを付加してB)パケットを出力する。B)パケットで下線表示された部分は、A)パケットの下線表示された部分に対応する変更値を意味する。B)パケットで下線表示された部分に対応するパリティは、BBBBBに再生成された状態であることが分かる。

Claims (4)
- デジタル放送送信機で伝送するストリームをエラーに強健に処理するストリーム処理装置において、
バイト単位のストリームを入力され変換する第1変換部と、
前記第1変換部で変換されたストリームをエンコードしてシンボル単位のストリームを出力するアウターエンコーダーと、
前記アウターエンコーダーから出力されるストリームをインターリーブするアウターインターリーバと、
前記インターリーブされたシンボル単位のストリームをバイト単位に変換する第2変換部と、
を含むことを特徴とするストリーム処理装置。 - 前記ストリームをノーマルストリームに多重化して伝送ストリームを構成するスタッファ
を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のストリーム処理装置。 - デジタル放送送信機で伝送するストリームをエラーに強健に処理するストリーム処理方法において、
バイト単位のストリームを入力され変換する第1変換ステップと、
前記変換されたストリームをエンコードしてシンボル単位のストリームを出力するアウターエンコードステップと、
前記エンコードされたストリームをインターリーブするアウターインターリーブステップと、
前記インターリーブされたシンボル単位のストリームをバイト単位に変換する第2変換ステップと、
を含むことを特徴とするストリーム処理方法。 - 前記ストリームをノーマルストリームに多重化して伝送ストリームを構成するステップ
を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のストリーム処理方法。
