Description

The present invention relates to a film for insert molding .

In recent years, plastic films have been used in various industries such as the automobile industry and the household electrical appliance industry because they are lightweight and inexpensive in addition to their processability and transparency. It is also widely used for displays such as flat panel displays, touch panels and personal computers. A plastic film is softer than glass and has drawbacks such that the surface is easily scratched. In order to eliminate this drawback, a hard coat film obtained by coating an ultraviolet curable resin composition on a plastic film is used. Among them, in the film for insert molding, an ultraviolet curable resin composition having excellent flexibility is applied to a PET film and cured, and decorative printing and / or metal vapor deposition treatment is applied to the back surface to impart design properties to a mobile phone or the like. It is used.

In the conventional insert molding film, the resin composition is applied and cured on the easy-adhesion layer on the back surface of the PET film, and metal deposition is performed. Therefore, the easy-adhesion layer is whitened by the radiant heat applied during the deposition process. However, it has been difficult to apply and cure the resin composition on a PET film whose surface has not been subjected to an easy adhesion treatment. Similarly, it has been difficult to form a decorative ink or a metal vapor-deposited film on a PET film that has not been subjected to an easy adhesion treatment on the surface. Therefore, there has been a demand for a resin composition that serves as a primer between the PET film and the decorative ink or metal deposition film.

The invention of claim 1 is a thermosetting resin composition comprising a polyol and a polyisocyanate, wherein the polyol has a glass transition temperature of 75 to 95 ° C. and a hydroxyl value of 20 to 35 mgKOH / g. the composition, applied onto a PET film easy adhesion treatment is not subjected to the surface, the film for insert molding, characterized in that by forming a cured coating is cured, a second aspect of the present invention, a polyol A thermosetting resin composition containing a polyisocyanate, wherein the polyol has a glass transition temperature of 75 to 95 ° C. and a hydroxyl value of 20 to 35 mgKOH / g, and is subjected to an easy adhesion treatment on the surface. and characterized by being subjected to the coating on a PET film which have not been subjected decorative on the cured film obtained by curing the printing and / or metal deposition process That is the film for insert molding.

According to the present invention, a thermosetting resin composition containing a polyol and a polyisocyanate having a glass transition temperature of 75 to 95 ° C. and a hydroxyl value of 20 to 35 mg KOH / g is not subjected to easy adhesion treatment on the surface. By applying and curing to the film, an insert molding film having excellent adhesion and blocking resistance can be obtained, and further, decorative printing and / or metal deposition treatment can be performed on the cured film.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail. Examples of the polyol having a glass transition temperature (hereinafter referred to as Tg) of 75 to 95 ° C. and a hydroxyl value (hereinafter referred to as OH number) of 20 to 35 mgKOH / g used in the present invention include polyether polyol, polyester polyol, acrylic polyol, epoxy polyol, and carbonate. A polyol, a caprolactone polyol, etc. are mentioned.

Commercially available products include VU-191 (Dainippon Ink and Chemicals, Tg 94 ° C., OH value 33 mgKOH / g), Q195-45 (Mitsui Chemicals, Tg 84 ° C., OH value 27 mgKOH / g), Q612 (Mitsui Chemical Co., Ltd., Tg 79 ° C., OH value 25 mg KOH / g) and the like.

When the glass transition temperature of the polyol is lower than 75 ° C., the cured film has insufficient hardness, and thus scratches and blocking occur during film winding. When it is higher than 95 ° C., the cured film is too hard and brittle, and the adhesion with the PET film is lowered. Also, when the hydroxyl value of the polyol is lower than 20 mgKOH / g, the reactivity with the polyisocyanate is poor and sufficient hardness cannot be obtained due to poor curing, as in the case where the glass transition temperature is lower than 75 ° C. Scratches and blocking occur during winding. When it is higher than 35 mgKOH / g, it forms a denser cross-linked structure with polyisocyanate, and the adhesiveness decreases due to curing shrinkage.

The polyisocyanate is not particularly limited, and specific examples of the polyisocyanate compound used in the present invention include aromatic polyisocyanates such as diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), tolylene diisocyanate (TDI), and naphthalene diisocyanate. In addition, aliphatic polyisocyanates such as hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) and lysine methyl ester diisocyanate, and alicyclic polyisocyanates such as hydrogenated diphenylmethane diisocyanate, isophorone diisocyanate, norbornane diisocyanate, and hydrogenated tolylene diisocyanate can be mentioned.

Examples of commercially available products include DN-981 (Dainippon Ink Chemical Co., Ltd.) D-120N, D-170N, D-177N (Mitsui Takeda Chemical Co., Ltd.), Coronate HX (Nihon Polyurethane Industry Co., Ltd.), and the like. .

In addition, an organic solvent can be added. Examples of the organic solvent include aliphatic hydrocarbons such as hexane, heptane and cyclohexane, aromatic hydrocarbons such as toluene and xylene, halogenated hydrocarbons such as methylene chloride and ethylene chloride, methanol, ethanol, propanol, Examples include alcohols such as butanol, ketones such as acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, 2-pentanone and isophorone, esters such as ethyl acetate and butyl acetate, and cellosolve solvents such as ethyl cellosolve.

A spray coating method, a dipping method, or the like can be used, and the thickness of the coating film after drying is preferably 200 nm to 1 μm. If the thickness of the cured coating layer is less than 200 nm, sufficient hardness will not be exhibited, and scratches and blocking will occur when the film is wound, and if it exceeds 1 μm, adhesion will deteriorate and cracks will occur during molding. .
