Claims (5)
- アクティブ基板上に複数の有機EL素子からなる画素をマトリクス配列して有する表示パネルで構成した有機EL表示装置であって、
前記有機EL素子は、前記アクティブ基板に複数の副画素で構成される単位カラー画素ごとに設けられて副画素開口を形成する一方の電極と、該一方の電極上に成膜された有機EL層と、前記有機EL層を覆って成膜された他方の電極からなり、
互いに異なる色に対応する前記副画素における前記有機EL層は、それぞれ色の有機EL層に対応するマスクを使って蒸着され、
前記表示パネルの任意の位置における単位カラー画素における各副画素開口の中心をその中心とする前記有機EL層のそれぞれの成膜中心のズレを示すベクトル間の角度が90度以内にあることを特徴とする有機EL表示装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記副画素開口に成膜される前記有機EL層の発光は、赤色、緑色、青色の3色であり、前記副画素開口に前記3色の有機EL層を成膜して前記単位カラー画素を構成することを特徴とする有機EL表示装置。 - 請求項2において、
前記3色の有機EL層の前記ベクトルの角度および大きさが互いに異なることを特徴とする有機EL表示装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記一方の電極は反射電極で、前記他方の電極は透明電極であることを特徴とする有機EL表示装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記一方の電極は透明電極で、前記他方の電極は反射電極であることを特徴とする有機EL表示装置。
