Claims (37)

閾値より良い受信品質を有する前記複数のユーザの各ユーザに対応する前記ビデオマルチキャスト及びビデオブロードキャストのうち少なくとも1つの受信品質を示す基準の重みを増加することを有する方法。 - 前記基準の重みに基づいて、前記複数のユーザのうち少なくとも1人についてソース及びチャネル符号化パラメータを調整することを更に有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数のユーザのうち少なくとも2人は異なるチャネル状態を有し、
前記方法は、
前記基準の重みに基づいて、前記複数のユーザにより実現可能な品質レベルの重み付き平均を表す性能基準を計算し、
前記性能基準に基づいて、前記複数のユーザのうち少なくとも1人についてソース及びチャネル符号化パラメータを調整することを更に有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記閾値未満の受信品質を有する前記複数のユーザのうちいずれかについての前記基準の重みは、減少又は除去する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記閾値未満の受信品質を有する前記複数のユーザのうちいずれかについての前記基準の重みは、前記閾値からの差に関する量だけ減少する、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記性能基準は、前記複数のユーザによる実現可能な品質レベルの重み付き平均に対応し、前記異なるチャネル状態に依存する、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記w(pi)は

- 複数のユーザについてビデオマルチキャスト及びビデオブロードキャストのうち少なくとも1つの性能を評価する装置であって、
受信品質に関して前記複数のユーザからデータを受信し、閾値より良い受信品質を有する前記複数のユーザの各ユーザに対応する前記ビデオマルチキャスト及びビデオブロードキャストのうち少なくとも1つの受信品質を示す基準の重みを増加するエンコーダを有する装置。 - 前記エンコーダは、前記データの重みに基づいて、前記複数のユーザのうち少なくとも1人についてソース及びチャネル符号化パラメータを調整する、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記複数のユーザのうち少なくとも2人は異なるチャネル状態を有し、
前記エンコーダは、
前記データの重みに基づいて、前記複数のユーザにより実現可能な品質レベルの重み付き平均を表す性能基準を計算し、
前記性能基準に基づいて、前記複数のユーザのうち少なくとも1人についてソース及びチャネル符号化パラメータを調整する、請求項13に記載の装置。 - 前記エンコーダは、前記閾値未満の受信品質を有する前記複数のユーザのうちいずれかについての前記データの重みを減少又は除去する、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記エンコーダは、前記閾値未満の受信品質を有する前記複数のユーザのうちいずれかについての前記データの重みを、前記閾値からの差に関する量だけ減少する、請求項16に記載の装置。
- 前記性能基準は、前記複数のユーザによる実現可能な品質レベルの重み付き平均に対応し、前記異なるチャネル状態に依存する、請求項18に記載の装置。

- 複数のユーザについてビデオマルチキャスト及びビデオブロードキャストのうち少なくとも1つの性能を評価する装置であって、
受信品質に関して前記複数のユーザからデータを受信する手段と、
閾値より良い受信品質を有する前記複数のユーザの各ユーザに対応する前記ビデオマルチキャスト及びビデオブロードキャストのうち少なくとも1つの受信品質を示す基準の重みを増加する手段と
を有する装置。 - 前記基準の重みに基づいて、前記複数のユーザのうち少なくとも1人についてソース及びチャネル符号化パラメータを調整する手段を更に有する、請求項26に記載の装置。
- 前記複数のユーザのうち少なくとも2人は異なるチャネル状態を有し、
前記装置は、
前記基準の重みに基づいて、前記複数のユーザにより実現可能な品質レベルの重み付き平均を表す性能基準を計算する手段と、
前記性能基準に基づいて、前記複数のユーザのうち少なくとも1人についてソース及びチャネル符号化パラメータを調整する手段と
を更に有する、請求項26に記載の装置。 - 前記閾値未満の受信品質を有する前記複数のユーザのうちいずれかについての前記基準の重みは、減少又は除去する、請求項26に記載の装置。
- 前記閾値未満の受信品質を有する前記複数のユーザのうちいずれかについての前記基準の重みは、前記閾値からの差に関する量だけ減少する、請求項29に記載の装置。
