Claims (20)
- 自律的なチャネル調整のための方法であって、
アクセスポイントAPが調整チャネルグループCCGにおいて使用されるチャネル上でCCGインジケータCCGIおよびCCGのマスタインジケータを送ることであって、前記CCGが複数のメンバAPを備えることと、
前記APが前記メンバAPから前記CCGIを含む送信を受け取ることと
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記CCGIは、ビーコンフレームおよびプローブ応答フレームの1つを介して送信されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記CCGIは、スタンドアロンフレームを介して送信されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記送信は、前記メンバAPの能力情報を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項4に記載の方法であって、前記能力情報は、前記メンバAPがサポートする周波数チャネルのリスト、前記メンバAPがチャネル利用および干渉測定を報告することができるかどうかに関する情報、および前記メンバAPによってサービスされる基本サービスセットBSSに関係する情報の少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記APが少なくとも1つのメンバAPから測定を受け取ること
をさらに備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項6に記載の方法であって、前記測定は、各チャネル上で測定された干渉レベル、各チャネルのチャネル利用、各チャネル上で検出された局STAの数、またはメンバAPに関連するSTAの識別の少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項6に記載の方法であって、前記測定は、前記メンバAPに関連付けられたSTAによって報告される測定を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記マスタAPは、前記メンバAPから構成修正を受け取ることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、
前記CCGにおいて使用されるチャネルを変更するためのチャネル変更コマンドを送ること
をさらに備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 自律的なチャネル調整のためのアクセスポイントAPであって、
トランシーバと、
調整チャネルグループCCGにおいて使用されるチャネル上でCCGインジケータ(CCGI)および前記CCGのマスタインジケータを送り、前記CCGが複数のメンバAPを備え、前記CCGIを含む前記メンバAPからの送信を受け取るように構成されたコントローラと
を備えたことを特徴とするAP。 - 請求項11に記載のAPであって、前記コントローラは、ビーコンフレームおよびプローブ応答フレームの1つを介して前記CCGIを送るように構成されることを特徴とするAP。
- 請求項11に記載のAPであって、前記コントローラは、スタンドアロンフレームを介して前記CCGIを送るように構成されることを特徴とするAP。
- 請求項11に記載のAPであって、前記送信は、前記メンバAPの能力情報を含むことを特徴とするAP。
- 請求項14に記載のAPであって、前記能力情報は、前記メンバAPがサポートする周波数チャネルのリスト、前記メンバAPがチャネル利用および干渉測定を報告することができるかどうかに関する情報、および前記メンバAPによってサービスされる基本サービスセットBSSに関係する情報の少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とするAP。
- 請求項11に記載のAPであって、前記コントローラは、少なくとも1つのメンバAPから測定を受け取るように構成されることを特徴とするAP。
- 請求項16に記載のAPであって、前記測定は、各チャネル上で測定された干渉レベル、各チャネルのチャネル利用、各チャネル上で検出された局STAの数、またはメンバAPに関連するSTAの識別の少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とするAP。
- 請求項16に記載のAPであって、前記測定は、前記メンバAPに関連付けられたSTAによって報告される測定を含むことを特徴とするAP。
- 請求項11に記載のAPであって、前記コントローラは、前記メンバAPから構成修正を受け取るように構成されることを特徴とするAP。
- 請求項11に記載のAPであって、前記コントローラは、前記CCGにおいて使用されるチャネルを変更するためのチャネル変更コマンドを送るように構成されることを特徴とするAP。
