Description

The present invention is not a machine / equipment, but a film transfer for pressing and transferring a film such as an adhesive to a transfer object by moving the transfer object such as a label or an envelope. Relates to the device.

As a conventional coating film transfer method for transferring a coating film to the entire surface of a transfer target, Patent Document 1 discloses a transfer tool for transferring the entire width of a wide coating film transfer tape to a transfer target. However, in the transfer tool disclosed in Patent Document 1, since the entire width of the coating film transfer tape is transferred to the transfer target, if the size of the transfer target changes and the transfer width changes, the corresponding tape width is applied. There is a problem that it takes time and effort to find and replace the film transfer tape.
In view of the above problems, by using a wide transfer tape as shown in the previous Japanese Patent Application No. 2006-174270, by transferring the coating film only to the area where the transfer target has moved, the transferred coating film A coating film transfer method and apparatus capable of freely changing the range and length have been invented.

However, when a wide-width transfer tape such as the invention of Japanese Patent Application No. 2006-174270 is used (hereinafter, a tape having a width of about 30 mm or more is referred to as a wide-width tape and is distinguished from a conventional narrow-width tape). Since the force required to drive the tape is increased as compared with the case where a tape having a narrow width is used, the following problems occur with the increase.
Patent Document 2 discloses a transfer tool having a transfer head that includes a transfer roller and a head cap that covers the transfer head for transferring the transfer paste. When using a coating film transfer tool as a gluing device, conventionally, gluing using a roller has been the mainstream as disclosed in Patent Document 2. However, in the case of using a roller, in addition to the roller, a rotation support shaft for holding the roller is required, and the number of parts as a whole increases. A narrow tape is not so expensive, so even if the number of parts increases somewhat, there is almost no cost problem. However, since a wide transfer tape is inevitably more expensive than a narrow transfer tape, there is a problem that if the number of parts is further increased, the manufacturing cost increases.

Also, if a roller is provided so as to fit a wide tape, the entire length of the roller becomes long, and the roller needs to have a large diameter in order to increase the strength of the roller. Too big. Further, since it is necessary to use a strong metal shaft for the rotation support shaft of the roller, there is a problem that the raw material cost and the manufacturing man-hour increase, and the price as a whole increases.

Therefore, it is conceivable that the transfer head is not a roller shape but a pointed spatula shape that is commonly used when transferring a coating film for correction.
However, it has been found that in order to transfer tape glue to a transfer medium with a spatula-shaped head with a pointed tip, it is not possible to transfer stably without pressing the spatula with a very large force. The reason is as follows.

In order to transfer the tape glue to a transfer medium such as paper normally without meandering, it is necessary to apply a certain force to pull back the tape glue when the tape glue is fed out. (Hereinafter, this force is referred to as “tension”.) On the other hand, the force required to transfer the tape glue to the transfer object is the tape glue by pressing the tape glue against the transfer object at the front end surface of the transfer head. The two are related to the adhesive force and the force of pressing the tape glue against the transfer medium with the head. With these two forces, the tape glue can be pulled out by moving the transferred material side with the tape glue adhered to the transferred material. This force is the pulling force. (Hereafter, this force is collectively referred to as “pull output”).
The tape glue cannot be pulled out unless the pulling force exceeds the tension. However, in the spatula-shaped transfer head, the adhesive force is weak because the area of the tape glue that can be brought into contact with the transfer object at the tip of the transfer head is small. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the force of pressing with the head.
JP-A-2005-319619 JP 2005-193410 A

In the present invention, in view of the above points, when a wide transfer tape is transferred to a transfer target using a spatula-shaped transfer head, the transfer head is relatively pressed without pressing the transfer target with a relatively large force. An object of the present invention is to provide a coating film transfer apparatus capable of transferring reliably and smoothly with a small force.
It is also an object of the present invention to provide a coating film transfer apparatus that employs a spatula-shaped transfer head so that the manufacturing cost does not increase even when a wide transfer tape is used, and the entire apparatus is small. It is.

The present invention provides a feeding reel for feeding out a transfer tape having a coating film coated on a substrate, a transfer head that presses and transfers the coating film to a transfer target, a transfer stand on which the transfer target is placed, In a coating film transfer apparatus comprising a take-up reel that winds up the substrate after transfer, and an interlocking mechanism that interlocks both reels, and the coating film is transferred to a range in which the transferred object has moved,
The problem has been solved by a coating film transfer apparatus characterized in that the tip of the transfer head has a surface in contact with the transfer target body at the time of coating film transfer.
The surface on which the spatula contacts the transfer target is preferably in the range of 1 mm to 10 mm in length. More preferably, the length is in the range of 1 mm to 6 mm.

According to the coating film transfer apparatus of the present invention, the front surface of the transfer head is positively provided with a surface in parallel with the transfer target. Therefore, even if a spatula-shaped transfer head is used, the surface of the transfer head is covered. The area of the tape glue that contacts the transfer body is increased, and the tape glue can be reliably pulled out without pressing the transfer head with a large force due to the adhesive force of the tape glue.
Further, by adopting a spatula-shaped transfer head, the number of parts is reduced and the size is reduced. Thereby, the effect of suppressing the manufacturing cost of the entire apparatus and the effect of improving the portability by downsizing can be achieved.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a plan view of the coating film transfer apparatus of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a side view of the coating film transfer apparatus of the present invention (when viewed from the right side in FIGS. 1 and 2, the front view). FIG. 3 is cut by the second intermediate gear and the second intermediate It is a longitudinal cross-sectional view of the coating-film transfer apparatus of this invention which fractured | ruptured a part of gear.
As shown in the figure, the coating film transfer apparatus 10 of the present invention comprises a case 20 and a base 30.

The case 20 includes a wide transfer tape T in which a coating film such as tape glue is coated on a substrate, a cylindrical feeding reel 40 around which the transfer tape T is wound, and a substrate T ′ after coating film transfer. A cylindrical take-up reel 50 for winding is detachably loaded.
The case 20 further includes a transfer head 22 for transferring the coating film on the transfer tape T fed from the feed reel 40 to a transfer target (not shown).

The transfer head 22 protrudes from one end of the transfer tape length direction (L) of the case 20 and has a long shape in the transfer tape width direction (W) so as to correspond to the width of the transfer tape T. The transfer head 22 includes tape guides G at both ends in the tape width direction (W) to prevent the transfer tape T from being displaced from the transfer head 22. The tip of the transfer head 22 has a surface S that contacts the transfer target in parallel during transfer, which will be described later.
For other configurations, a known technique may be applied as appropriate.

A feeding reel gear 42 and a take-up reel gear 52 are formed integrally with both reels at one end of the cylindrical feeding reel 40 and the take-up reel 50, respectively. Both reels are detachably supported by the case 20, but a method using a known bearing or the like may be used as a support method.
Since both reels are detachable, only the reels and the transfer tape need be exchanged when the transfer tape is used up. Since the transfer device main body can be used any number of times, waste is reduced and the degree of environmental pollution is low.

At one end of the case 20 corresponding to the feeding reel gear 42 and the take-up reel gear 52 in the tape width direction W, an interlocking mechanism 60 is provided that meshes with both the reel gears 42 and 52 and interlocks the reels. The interlock mechanism 60 is arranged coaxially with the first intermediate gear 62 and the first intermediate gear 62 that are relatively small in diameter and meshes with the feeding reel gear 42, and the second intermediate gear 64 that is relatively large in diameter and meshes with the take-up reel gear 52. The knob 66 protrudes out of the case and is used to manually operate both intermediate gears.
Since both the intermediate gears 62 and 64 are formed coaxially, a storage space is relatively small, and as a result, the entire coating film transfer apparatus 10 can be downsized.

The case 20 is rotatably connected to the base 30 by a connecting portion 24 provided at one end of the case 20 in the tape length direction (L). The connecting portion 24 is a hinge mechanism (not shown) using a torsion coil spring, and keeps the case 20 parallel to the base 30 while maintaining a space between the base 30 and the transfer head 22.

The base 30 includes a transfer base 32 on which a transfer target is placed and a base body 34 to which the case 20 is connected. The transfer table 32 is made of a material excellent in slipperiness and releasability. As a result, when transferring the film to be transferred while being sandwiched between the transfer head 22 and the transfer table 32, the effect of facilitating movement of the object to be transferred and, among the wide film, There is an effect of preventing a portion remaining without being transferred to the transfer body from adhering to the transfer table 32.

FIG. 4 is a side view of the coating film transfer apparatus 10 during coating film transfer. FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the coating film transfer apparatus 10 at the time of coating film transfer, which is cut by the second intermediate gear and a part of the second intermediate gear is broken. 6 is an enlarged view of a portion A in FIG.
Hereinafter, the usage method of the coating film transfer apparatus 10 is demonstrated, referring a figure.
The method of using this device is similar to the method of using a relatively large stapler.
First, the transfer target is placed on the transfer stage 32 so that the transfer start position is directly below the transfer head 22 and the portion where the coating film is to be transferred is located inside the apparatus from the transfer head 22. In order to make the transfer start position easy to understand, it is advisable to mark the transfer stand 32 or to make the case 20 of a transparent material.

Next, the case 20 is pushed from above with one hand and rotated through the connecting portion 24 with the base body 34, and the surface S at the tip of the transfer head 22 is brought into contact with the transfer body on the transfer base 32. In order to reliably transfer the coating film, it is preferable to slightly press the surface S at the tip of the transfer head 22 against the transfer table 32.
When the transfer body is moved in the tape length direction (L) with the other hand while the front surface S of the transfer head 22 is kept in contact with the transfer body, the transfer tape is transferred from the supply reel 40 to the transfer tape. T is fed out, and the coating film is transferred to the portion just moved in the tape length (L) direction from the transfer start position of the transfer object. The first intermediate gear 62 that meshes with the feeding reel 40 is rotated by the rotation of the feeding reel 40, and the second intermediate gear 64 is also rotated accordingly. Therefore, the rotation is also transmitted to the take-up reel 50, so that the coating is performed. The substrate T ′ after film transfer is wound up.
When the hand holding the case 20 after the transfer is released, the case 20 returns to the original position by the action of the connecting portion 24, and the front surface S of the transfer head 22 is also separated from the transfer table 32. The connecting portion 24 may be structured such that once it is pushed by hand to bring the transfer head 22 into contact with the transfer target on the transfer table 32, the contacted state can be maintained until it is lifted by hand again.

As described above, since the transfer table 32 is made of a material having slipperiness and releasability, there is little resistance when pulling the transfer object, and the transfer object is narrower than the width of the coating film. In this case, it is possible to prevent the coating film that is not transferred to the transfer body from being detached from the base material and adhering to the transfer table 32. As a material suitable for achieving the object, a fluororesin, a silicon resin, a foamed material, and the like can be considered, but the material is not particularly limited.
Affixing a sheet of material with excellent releasability to the surface, considering that the surface releasability deteriorates due to friction with the transfer object as the number of times the coating film transfer device is used increases. If the sheet is lost, only the surface sheet may be replaced. Specifically, a functional film in which an adhesive material is formed in a layer on one surface and a substance having a good releasability is formed in a layer on the other surface (see, for example, JP-A-10-95073). Can be considered.
Further, since there is a limit to the slipperiness, the transfer table 32 itself may be movable in the tape length direction by using a tension coil spring or the like. The transferred transfer table 32 returns to the original position by the elastic force of the tension coil spring. In the case of a movable transfer stand, the slipperiness of the contact surface with the transfer target is not necessary, and only the release property with respect to the coating film is sufficient.

After the transfer by the above method, when the width of the coating film is wider than the pasting width of the transfer object, a portion of the coating film that is not transferred remains in a part of the width. In this case, by manually operating the knob 66 protruding to the outside of the coating film transfer apparatus 10, the feeding reel 40 and the take-up reel 50 are rotated in reverse, the substrate T ′ after transfer is rewound, The remaining coating film can be transferred to another part of the transfer body or another transfer target body for effective use.

When the transfer tape has been used, the feeding reel 40, the take-up reel 50, and the substrate T ′ after the coating film wound on both reels are taken out from the case 20 and replaced with new ones.

Figure 0005158344
Figure 0005158344
Tables 1 and 2 show data obtained by measuring the pulling force by changing the length of the front surface S of the transfer head 22 using a tape glue having a width of 96 mm.
Figure 0005158344
Figure 0005158344
From Tables 1 and 2, it can be seen that when the length of the surface S at the tip of the transfer head 22 is 3 mm, the pulling force is about 3000 gf. In other words, when the maximum tension of the tape glue is designed to be 3000 gf, the length of the surface S at the tip of the transfer head 22 is set to 3 mm or more, and the area where the tape glue contacts the transfer target at the transfer head 22 is 3 mm × 96 mm = If it is 288 mm 2 or more, even if a spatula-shaped transfer head is used, the tape glue can be pulled out smoothly only by lightly pressing the transfer head.
From this, if the length of the surface S becomes longer, the area where the tape glue adheres to the transfer target increases, so that the transfer becomes easier, but conversely, the length for transferring the tape glue becomes longer, The transfer range of the tape glue becomes too large for a small transfer medium, which is wasted. In addition, there is a drawback that the entire apparatus becomes large.
From both of these effects and problems, and when the curve in Table 2 is extended, the pulling output converges to about 4000 gf even if the head width is 10 mm. Therefore, it is considered that the length of the surface S should be about 10 mm. If the length of the surface S is 6 mm, since the contact surface between the tape glue and the transfer target is large, it is easy to transfer even the tape glue with a small adhesive force.
On the other hand, if the length is less than 1 mm, the adhesive force does not substantially act, so a large pressing force is required.

As described above, according to the present invention, the transfer tape that comes into contact with the transfer target in the transfer head portion has an area of a certain size, thereby increasing the force for pressing the transfer head against the transfer target. Even without this, transfer can be performed reliably and smoothly.
The transfer tape may be a tape glue that is an adhesive tape, a marker tape that has adhesiveness on one side of the tape, a correction tape, or the like.
