Claims (34)
- 皮膚創傷の治療のために酸素を供給し、浸出液を除去するデバイスであって、
前記創傷を覆うように適応された密封ハウジングと、
電気化学プロセスに従って酸素を含む負イオンおよび/または中性化学種を酸化して生成させた酸素(O 2 )を皮膚創傷に供給するために前記ハウジングに流体接続された酸素生成セルと、
前記酸素(O 2 )を前記負イオンおよび/または中性化学種への変換によって減少させ、前記ハウジング内に減圧を生成することによって、前記皮膚創傷から流れ出す浸出液を自然に吸引するために前記ハウジングに流体接続された酸素消費セルと、
を備えた、デバイス。 - 前記酸素消費セルは、前記ハウジング内に存在する酸素を消費することによって、前記皮膚創傷から浸出液を吸引し、これにより、前記ハウジング内に、前記創傷部位から浸出液を吸引するように作用する減圧を生成する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記創傷から吸引された浸出液を収容するリザーバをさらに備えている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記酸素生成セル、前記酸素消費セルおよび前記リザーバは全て前記ハウジングに組み込まれている、請求項3に記載のデバイス。

- 皮膚創傷の治療のために酸素を供給し、浸出液を除去するデバイスであって、
密封されたハウジングと、
前記ハウジングを前記皮膚創傷に流体接続するコンジットと、
前記ハウジング内に組み込まれて、前記皮膚創傷に酸素を供給することと、前記皮膚創傷から浸出液を吸引することを交互に行う電気化学セルと、
備えたデバイスであって、
前記電気化学セルは、
a)第1電極と、
b)そこを通して前記負イオンおよび/または中性化学種を拡散する膜と、
c)前記電解質と接続する第2電極と、を含み、
第1動作モードでは、前記第1電極は負イオンおよび/または中性化学種への供給ガス中の酸素を減少させ、前記第2電極は負イオンおよび/または中性化学種を酸化して、前記皮膚創傷に供給する高濃度酸素を生成し、さらに、第2動作モードでは、前記電極の動作が逆になり、前記ハウジング内に減圧を生成することにより、前記創傷からの浸出液を除去するように構成されたデバイス。 - 電源をさらに備えている、請求項19に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電源は定電流または定電圧モードのいずれでも動作できる、請求項20に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電源は二極バッテリを備えている、請求項20に記載のデバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、前記電源の極性を逆にすることによって、動作の前記第1と前記第2モードとの間で切り換えできる、請求項22に記載のデバイス。
- 前記酸素は前記創傷の皮下に投与でき、浸出液の前記除去は前記創傷の創傷床からである、請求項19に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ハウジング内の、前記セルと前記コンジットの入口との間に配置されたガス透過性バリヤ層をさらに備えている、請求項19に記載のデバイス。
- 第2電気化学セルをさらに備え、前記第2電気化学セルは、前記第1と第2電気化学セルとの間の流体接続をONまたはOFFに切り換えできるバルブを有するコンジットによって、前記第1電気化学セルの前記第2電極に接続されている、請求項19に記載のデバイス。
- 前記創傷から吸引された浸出液を収容するリザーバをさらに備えている、請求項19に記載のデバイス。
- 前記リザーバは前記ハウジングに組み込まれている、請求項27に記載のデバイス。
- 前記リザーバは前記ハウジングから取り外しできる、請求項27に記載のデバイス。
- 前記リザーバは使い捨て式である、請求項29に記載のデバイス。
- 皮膚創傷の治療のために酸素を供給し、浸出液を除去するデバイスであって、
第1および第2の密封されたハウジングと、
前記第1および第2ハウジングを前記皮膚創傷に流体接続する第1および第2コンジットと、
電気化学プロセスによって酸素を含む負イオンおよび/または中性化学種を酸化して生成させた酸素(O 2 )を前記皮膚創傷に供給するために前記第1ハウジング内に配置された酸素生成セルと、
前記酸素(O 2 )を前記負イオンおよび/または中性化学種への変換によって減少させ、前記第2ハウジング内に減圧を生成することによって前記皮膚創傷から浸出液を吸引するために前記第2ハウジング内に配置された酸素消費セルと、
前記第2コンジット内に配置されたバルブと、
前記皮膚創傷上に閉塞シールを形成するように適応された創傷被覆材パッチと、
前記第2ハウジングおよび前記創傷の創傷床を流体接続する吸収媒体を備えた第3コンジットと、
を備えた、デバイス。 - 前記酸素消費セルおよび前記酸素生成セルは、
a)第1電極と、
b)そこを通して負イオンおよび/または中性化学種を拡散する電解質と、
c)前記電解質と接続する第2電極と、
を備えている、請求項31に記載のデバイス。 - 皮膚創傷を治療する方法であって、皮膚創傷と流体連通するハウジング内に配置された関連する電気化学セルを有する酸素生成デバイスを設けるステップと、
および、交互に行われる、
a)前記セルを使用して周囲環境から電気化学プロセスに従って酸素を含む負イオンおよび/または中性化学種を酸化して酸素(O 2 )を生成し、前記酸素を前記皮膚創傷に供給するステップと、
b)前記セルを使用して前記ハウジング内に存在する酸素(O 2 )を前記負イオンおよび/または中性化学種への変換によって消費し、これにより前記創傷部位から浸出液を吸引するように作用する減圧を生成する各ステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 皮膚創傷を治療する方法であって、皮膚創傷と流体連通するハウジング内に配置された第1および第2の関連する電気化学セルを有する酸素生成デバイスを設けるステップと、
および、
a)前記第1セルを使用して周囲環境から電気化学プロセスに従って酸素を含む負イオンおよび/または中性化学種を酸化して酸素(O 2 )を生成し、前記酸素を前記皮膚創傷に供給するステップと、
b)前記第2セルを使用して前記ハウジング内に存在する酸素(O 2 )を前記負イオンおよび/または中性化学種への変換によって消費し、これにより前記創傷部位から浸出液を吸引するように作用する減圧を生成する各ステップと、
を含む、方法。
