Claims (20)
- 無線通信システムの測位方法であって、
前記システムの或るユニットにおいて信号を受信し、
前記信号に対する処理動作を選択するように当該受信信号に少なくとも1つのテストを行い、前記動作は、相関ピークに基づく相関処理動作及び前記受信信号の先端に基づく先端処理動作のうちの1つであり、当該行われるテストは、前記受信信号の信号レベルが閾値よりも大きいかどうかを判定することを含み、前記受信信号のレベルが前記閾値よりも大きい場合、先端勾配が勾配閾値よりも大きいかどうかをテストすることを含み、
その後に当該選択された動作を行う、
方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記受信信号のレベルが前記閾値より小さい場合、前記相関処理動作が選択される、方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記先端勾配が前記勾配閾値よりも小さい場合、前記先端処理動作が選択される、方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記先端勾配が前記勾配閾値よりも大きい場合、前記相関処理動作が選択される、方法。
- 請求項1ないし4のうちいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、所定の間隔で当該テストの実行及び動作ステップを繰り返す、方法。
- 請求項1ないし5のうちいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、前記テスト実行ステップの前に受信パルスをコヒーレントに重畳する、方法。
- 請求項1ないし6のうちいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、バンプ関数とのパルスの畳み込みを含む方法。
- 請求項1ないし7のうちいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、前記信号レベルが前記信号レベル閾値よりも小さい場合、次の又は継続のテスト実行の前に当該信号の受信時間期間を延ばすことを含む方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記先端勾配が閾値よりも大きいかどうかをテストする前に、前記ユニットにおいて次に受信されるべき信号の送信までの期間を短くすることを含む方法。
- 請求項1ないし9のうちいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、省電力モードにおける動作の先端テストの時間期間を短くすることを含む方法。
- 請求項1ないし10のうちいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、中間のテスト又は処理を伴うことなく選択後に前記先端処理動作を行うことを含む方法。
- 請求項4に記載の方法であって、i=CdV/dtなる式を用いて前記勾配を測定すること(Vは当該信号波形の電圧、Cはキャパシタンス、iは電流)を含む方法。
- 請求項1ないし12のうちいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、前記先端処理動作は、受信信号電圧又はピークを微分し、ゼロ交差又は変曲点の位置を特定することを含む方法。
- ディジタルコンピュータの内部メモリに直接ロード可能なコンピュータプログラムであって、当該プログラムがコンピュータで実行されるときに請求項1ないし13のうちいずれか1つに記載の方法を実行するためのソフトウェアコード部を有するプログラム。
- 請求項14に記載のコンピュータプログラムを有する記録媒体。
- 無線通信システムの測位装置であって、
前記システムのユニットにおいて信号を受信する手段と、
前記信号に対する処理動作を選択するように当該受信信号に少なくとも1つのテストを行う手段であって、当該動作を相関ピークに基づく相関処理動作及び前記受信信号の先端に基づく先端処理動作のうちの1つとし、当該行われるテストは、前記受信信号の信号レベルが閾値よりも大きいかどうかを判定することを含み、前記受信信号のレベルが前記閾値よりも大きい場合、先端勾配が勾配閾値よりも大きいかどうかをテストすることを含む当該手段と、
当該選択された動作を行う手段と、
を有する装置。 - 請求項16に記載の装置であって、前記受信信号のレベルが前記閾値より小さい場合、前記相関処理動作を選択する手段を有する装置。
- 請求項16に記載の装置であって、前記先端勾配が前記勾配閾値よりも小さい場合、前記先端処理動作を選択する手段を有する装置。
- 請求項16に記載の装置であって、前記先端勾配が前記勾配閾値よりも大きい場合、前記相関処理動作を選択する手段を有する装置。
- 請求項16ないし19のうちいずれか1つに記載の装置であって、所定の間隔で当該テスト実行及び動作ステップを繰り返す手段を有する装置。
