Description
Claims (6)
- 音声/映像配信システム内の第1のノードが、当該第1のノードにローカルな大容量記憶装置からのストリームコンテンツの第1部分にアクセスし、且つ当該第1のノードにローカルな少なくとも1つのI/Oポートを介して該第1部分を外部配信ネットワークに提供するステップ;
前記第1のノードが、前記第1のノードにローカルなキャッシュメモリ内に前記第1部分をキャッシュするステップ;
前記音声/映像配信システム内の第2のノードが、当該第2のノードにローカルな大容量記憶装置からの前記ストリームコンテンツの第2部分にアクセスし、且つ当該第2のノードにローカルな少なくとも1つのI/Oポートを介して該第2部分を前記外部配信ネットワークに提供するステップ;
前記第2のノードが、前記第2のノードにローカルなキャッシュメモリ内に前記第2部分をキャッシュするステップ;
前記第1のノードが、前記第2部分に関して、前記第2のノードにローカルな前記キャッシュメモリにアクセスし、且つ前記第1のノードにローカルな前記I/Oポートを介して前記第2部分をストリーミングするステップ;及び
前記第2のノードが、前記第1部分に関して、前記第1のノードにローカルな前記キャッシュメモリにアクセスし、且つ前記第2のノードにローカルな前記I/Oポートを介して前記第1部分をストリーミングするステップ;
を有し、
前記第1及び第2のノードの前記キャッシュメモリは、前記第1のノードの前記キャッシュメモリ内で前記第2部分を複製すること、及び前記第2のノードの前記キャッシュメモリ内で前記第1部分を複製することを回避するように管理される、
方法。 - 前記音声/映像配信システム内の第3のノードが、当該第3のノードにローカルな大容量記憶装置からの前記ストリームコンテンツの第3部分にアクセスし、且つ当該第3のノードにローカルな少なくとも1つのI/Oポートを介して該第3部分を前記外部配信ネットワークに提供するステップ;
前記第3のノードが、前記第3のノードにローカルなキャッシュメモリ内に前記第3部分をキャッシュするステップ;及び
前記第3のノードが、前記第1及び第2部分に関して、前記第1及び第2のノードにローカルな前記キャッシュメモリにアクセスし、且つ前記第3のノードにローカルな前記I/Oポートを介して前記第1及び第2部分をストリーミングするステップ;
を更に有する請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1、第2及び第3のノードの複数のローカルキャッシュメモリは、これら複数のノードが複数のI/Oポートを介して前記外部配信ネットワークにストリーミングするときに前記ストリームコンテンツの部分群が該複数のノードの当該複数のローカルキャッシュメモリ内で重複しないように、単一のグローバルキャッシュメモリとして管理される、
請求項2に記載の方法。 - 第1のノードであり、当該第1のノードにローカルな大容量記憶装置からの音声/映像ストリームコンテンツの第1部分にアクセスし、当該第1のノードにローカルな少なくとも1つのI/Oポートを介して該第1部分を外部配信ネットワークに提供し、且つ当該第1のノードにローカルなキャッシュメモリ内に該第1部分をキャッシュするように適応された第1のノード;
第2のノードであり、当該第2のノードにローカルな大容量記憶装置からの前記ストリームコンテンツの第2部分にアクセスし、当該第2のノードにローカルな少なくとも1つのI/Oポートを介して該第2部分を前記外部配信ネットワークに提供し、且つ当該第2のノードにローカルなキャッシュメモリ内に該第2部分をキャッシュするように適応された第2のノード;
を有し、
前記第1のノードは、前記第2部分に関して、前記第2のノードにローカルな前記キャッシュメモリにアクセスし、且つ前記第1のノードにローカルな前記I/Oポートを介して前記第2部分をストリーミングするように適応され;且つ
前記第2のノードは、前記第1部分に関して、前記第1のノードにローカルな前記キャッシュメモリにアクセスし、且つ前記第2のノードにローカルな前記I/Oポートを介して前記第1部分をストリーミングするように適応されている;
音声/映像配信システム。 - 第3のノードであり、当該第3のノードにローカルな大容量記憶装置からの前記ストリームコンテンツの第3部分にアクセスし、当該第3のノードにローカルな少なくとも1つのI/Oポートを介して該第3部分を前記外部配信ネットワークに提供し、且つ当該第3のノードにローカルなキャッシュメモリ内に該第3部分をキャッシュするように適応された第3のノード;
を更に有し、
前記第3のノードは、前記第1及び第2部分に関して、前記第1及び第2のノードにローカルな前記キャッシュメモリにアクセスし、且つ前記第3のノードにローカルな前記I/Oポートを介して前記第1及び第2部分をストリーミングするように適応されている;
請求項4に記載のシステム。 - 前記第1、第2及び第3のノードの複数のローカルキャッシュメモリは、これら複数のノードが複数のI/Oポートを介して前記ストリームコンテンツの異なる部分群を前記外部配信ネットワークにストリーミングするときに該異なる部分群が該複数のノードの当該複数のローカルキャッシュメモリ内で重複しないように、単一のグローバルキャッシュメモリとして管理される、
請求項5に記載のシステム。
