Description
Claims (10)
- 第1の基板と、
前記第1の基板上の複数の第1の隆起要素とを含み、前記第1の隆起要素が前記第1の基板上の第1のチャネル領域によって互いに離隔され、前記第1の隆起要素それぞれが第1の側面及び第1の遠位端を有し、そして、前記第1の遠位端が疎水性であり及び第1のアレイを形成しており、
前記第1の側面及び第1の遠位端上の疎水性分子と、さらに
親水性反応生成物を発生させる、前記第1の遠位端上の第1反応性分子、ここで前記第1反応性分子は前記第1遠位端の疎水性を減少させるように液体の化学的又は生物学的成分と反応できる
とを含むデバイス。 - 第2の基板と、
前記第2の基板上の複数の第2の隆起要素とを含み、前記第2の隆起要素が前記第2の基板上の第2のチャネル領域によって互いに離隔され、前記第2の隆起要素それぞれが第2の側面及び第2の遠位端を有し、前記第2の遠位端が疎水性であり及び第2のアレイを形成し、そして、前記第1および第2のアレイが、それらアレイの間に液体を閉じ込めることができるように互いに離れてかつ向き合っており、
前記第2側面及び第2の遠位端上の疎水性分子と、さらに
親水性反応生成物を発生させる、前記第2の遠位端上の第2反応性分子、ここで前記第2反応性分子は前記第2遠位端の疎水性を減少させるように液体の化学的又は生物学的成分と反応できる
とを含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 前記第1反応性分子が、
前記第1のアレイの第1の部分内の第1の隆起要素の第1の遠位端上に配置された第1の複数の前記第1反応性分子と、
前記第1のアレイの第2の部分内の第1の隆起要素の第1の遠位端上に配置された、前記第1の複数の第1反応性分子とは異なる構造を有する複数の第2の第1反応性分子とを含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 第1反応性分子が前記第1のチャネル領域内の球体上に配置される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記球体上に配置される前記第1反応性分子が、
第1の球体上に配置された前記第1の第1反応性分子と、
第2の球体上に配置され、かつ前記第1の球体上に配置された前記第1の第1反応性分子とは異なる構造を有する第2の第1反応性分子とを含む、請求項4に記載のデバイス。 - 前記球体が第3のアレイを形成し、前記第1の球体が前記第3のアレイ内に第1の場所を有し、そして、前記第2の球体が前記第3のアレイ内に第2の場所を有する、請求項5に記載のデバイス。
- デバイスを提供するステップを含み、前記デバイスが、
第1の基板と、
前記第1の基板上の複数の第1の隆起要素とを有し、前記第1の隆起要素が前記第1の基板上で第1のチャネル領域によって互いに離隔され、前記第1の隆起要素それぞれが第1の側面及び第1の遠位端を有し、そして、第1の遠位端が疎水性であり及び第1のアレイを形成しており、前記デバイスがさらに、
前記第1の側面及び第1の遠位端上の疎水性分子と、
親水性反応生成物を発生させる、前記第1の遠位端上の第1反応性分子とを有しており、さらに、
親水性液体を前記第1の隆起要素と接触させるステップと、
第1の隆起要素の第1遠位端上の第1反応性分子と前記親水性液体との間で疎水性変化反応が起こるかどうかを判定するステップとを含む方法。 - 第2の基板と、
前記第2の基板上の複数の第2の隆起要素とをさらに有し、前記第2の隆起要素が前記第2の基板上で第2のチャネル領域によって互いに離隔され、前記第2の隆起要素それぞれが第2の側面及び第2の遠位端を有し、前記第2の遠位端が疎水性であり及び第2のアレイを形成し、そして、前記第1および第2のアレイが、それらの間に親水性液体を閉じ込めることができるように互いに離れてかつ向き合っており、さらに、
前記第2の側面及び第2の遠位端上の疎水性分子と、
親水性反応生成物を発生させる、前記第2の遠位端上の第2反応性分子と、
をさらに有するデバイスを提供するステップと、
親水性液体を第2の隆起要素と接触させるステップと、
第2の隆起要素の第2遠位端上の第2反応性分子と前記親水性液体との間で疎水性変化反応が起こるかどうかを判定するステップとを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記第1反応性分子を提供するステップが、
前記第1のアレイの第1の部分内の第1の隆起要素の第1の遠位端上に配置された複数の第1の第1反応性分子と、
前記第1のアレイの第2の部分内の第1の隆起要素の第1の遠位端上に配置された、複数の第1の第1反応性分子とは異なる構造を有する複数の第2の第1反応性分子とをさらに提供するステップと、
前記親水性液体と第1の隆起要素の第1の遠位端上の複数の第1の第1反応性分子との間で疎水性変化反応が起こるかどうかを判定するステップと、
前記親水性液体と第1の隆起要素の第1の遠位端上の複数の第2の第1反応性分子との間で疎水性変化反応が起こるかどうかを判定するステップとを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記第1のチャネル領域内の球体上の複数の第1反応性分子を提供することをさらに含み、
前記第1のチャネル領域内の前記第1反応性分子と前記親水性液体との間で反応が起こるかどうかを判定するステップとを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
