前記リヤヘッダーは、その車幅方向両端部分にバックドアヒンジが夫々取付けられる1対のヒンジレインフォースメントを有し、
前記ヒンジレインフォースメントに、ルーフサイドレールに結合されたリヤピラーのインナ部材の上端部分が結合され
前記リヤピラーのインナ部材の上端部分の車幅方向内端部分に断面ハット状のインナ隆起部が設けられ、このインナ隆起部にヒンジレインフォースメントが結合され、
前記ヒンジレインフォースメントに、前記インナ隆起部よりも前方に位置してリヤヘッダーのアッパ部材の方へ接近するように隆起するレイン隆起部が設けられたことを特徴とする車両の車体後部構造。
