Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for manufacturing an optical fiber strand, and in particular, an optical fiber element that can easily separate a curable adhesive resin that bonds adjacent optical fiber strands together with an optical fiber strand. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a wire tape core and an apparatus for manufacturing an optical fiber core tape.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an optical fiber ribbon fiber is formed by applying a plurality of UV resins in parallel to the entire circumference of a single optical fiber. In order to separate the optical fiber strand tape core formed in this way, it is necessary to remove the UV resin adhering to the entire circumference of the single optical fiber strand. However, when removing the UV resin, excessive force such as twisting, bending, and lateral pressure is applied to the optical fiber, which may deteriorate the optical fiber and take time for the separation work itself. There was a problem that it was.
As shown in FIG. 7A, an
In addition, referring to FIG. 8, as another optical fiber
Moreover, in patent document 1, it is taped without applying UV resin to the perimeter of an optical fiber strand by using the method of a dispenser form, and the optical fiber strand tape core wire which is thin and easy to separate is made. A manufacturing method is described. That is, the energy beam curable resin is discharged from a cylindrical nozzle having a thin tip onto at least one arrangement plane side of the plurality of optical fiber strands arranged in a row in close contact while running the plurality of optical fiber strands. Thereafter, the energy ray curable resin is cured, and the plurality of optical fiber strands are bonded and integrated.
By the way, in the conventional optical fiber strand tape core wire, for example, the optical fiber strand
Further, the intermittently fixed
Further, in Patent Document 1, in order to fabricate a tape core wire that can be split into a single core, a UV curable resin is applied between the optical fiber strands to connect the optical fiber strands. Since the curable resin is a liquid, it spreads on the optical fiber after a while, so that the bonding area between the UV curable resin and the optical fiber becomes wide. In other words, the UV curable resin spreads until the contact angle between the optical fiber and the UV curable resin becomes a constant value.
Immediately after application of the resin, if cured immediately, a tape core having a small bonding area between the taped material and the optical fiber can be formed, so that the strength as the tape core is insufficient and handling becomes difficult. On the other hand, if the UV curable resin is cured with the adhesive area widened, the adhesive area between the taped material and the optical fiber strand becomes wider, and the resin for bonding the optical fiber strands comes into contact with each other and splits. An inferior tape core wire is produced. However, there is a problem in that the cross-sectional shape of the UV curable resin after ejection cannot be set to a target shape.
According to the present invention, an optical fiber strand tape core having a structure that can be easily separated without losing time by preventing the resins for bonding the optical fiber strands from contacting each other. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a wire and an apparatus for manufacturing an optical fiber ribbon tape.
In order to solve the above-described problems, a method of manufacturing an optical fiber strand tape according to the present invention includes a curing type in which two or more optical fiber strands are used as a taped material in at least one array plane side row. A method of manufacturing a long optical fiber ribbon core integrated into a tape shape with an adhesive resin, the step of concentrating a plurality of optical fiber strands, and the optical fiber strands adjacent to each other A step of dropping a curable adhesive resin that connects adjacent optical fiber strands on at least one of the arrangement plane sides, a step of measuring an adhesive width and an adhesive thickness of the curable adhesive resin, and a measured curable mold Based on the bonding width and bonding thickness of the adhesive resin , the curable adhesive resin that bonds adjacent optical fiber strands and the curable adhesive resin that bonds other adjacent optical fiber strands do not adhere, And adjacent optical fiber When a state having a protrusion height than the tangent to the circumference popping outside, curing adhesive resin moved the resin curing irradiation apparatus to properly cure allowed to position, irradiating the resin cured from resin curing irradiator it is characterized in that comprises a step of curing the irradiated curing adhesive resin lines.
Further, in the method for manufacturing an optical fiber strand tape according to the present invention, the curable adhesive resin may be continuously formed in the length direction of the optical fiber in the optical fiber strand tape manufacturing method. preferable.
An apparatus for manufacturing an optical fiber strand of the present invention has a plurality of optical fiber strands in close contact with each other and arranged in a row, and is applied in a tape form by applying a curable adhesive resin as a tape forming material. An apparatus for manufacturing a long optical fiber strand to be converted into an optical fiber, and a concentrator for concentrating a plurality of optical fiber strands, and an array of at least one of adjacent optical fiber strands concentrated in the concentrator Adhesive resin coating device having a discharge nozzle for dropping a curable adhesive resin for connecting optical fiber strands adjacent to each other on a flat surface side, a resin curing irradiation device for curing the dropped curable adhesive resin, and a resin curing device Based on the adhesive width and thickness of the curable adhesive resin measured by the adhesive resin contour measuring device and the adhesive resin contour measuring device that measures the adhesive width and thickness of the curable adhesive resin cured by the irradiation device And curing adhesive resin for bonding the adjacent optical fiber to each other, without curing adhesive resin for bonding the optical fiber adjacent the other adhesive, and tangent to the outer periphery of the optical fiber adjacent more when the state that have a protrusion height popping outside, that a control device for controlling a command unit which gives an instruction for moving the curing adhesive resin illumination properly cured resin to cure allowed to position device It is characterized by.
As can be understood from the means for solving the above problems, according to the method for manufacturing an optical fiber ribbon of the present invention, a curable adhesive resin is applied (dropped) between optical fibers. After that, the curable adhesive resin is not adjacent to the taped resin for adhering adjacent optical fiber strands, and the taped resin for adhering the adjacent optical fiber strands is adjacent. By irradiating a resin curing irradiation line and curing the surface of the curable adhesive resin when the protrusion has a protruding height that protrudes outward from the tangent line that touches the outer periphery of the two optical fiber strands, It is possible to arbitrarily adjust the bonding area and shape of the curable adhesive resin that becomes the fiber strand and the taped material. Therefore, the optical fiber strand manufactured can easily separate the optical fiber from the curable adhesive resin without taking any time without deformation of the optical fiber. Moreover, since the bonding area between the optical fiber and the taped material is appropriate, the optical fiber can be divided without applying excessive force, so that the division loss is low and the time required for the division work is short. It will be a thing.
Moreover, according to the optical fiber ribbon optical fiber manufacturing apparatus of the present invention, the adhesive width and adhesive thickness of the curable adhesive resin applied and cured between the optical fiber elements are measured by the adhesive resin outline measuring device. Based on this measurement data, the taped resin for adhering adjacent optical fiber strands and the taped resin for adhering adjacent optical fiber strands to each other are not bonded, and 2 adjacent When the protrusion has a protruding height that protrudes outward from the tangent line that touches the outer periphery of the two optical fiber strands, the surface of the curable adhesive resin can be cured by irradiating the resin curing irradiation beam.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
Referring to FIG. 1, an optical fiber strand tape manufacturing apparatus 1 according to this embodiment is arranged (in parallel) in a row in close contact with, for example, four
In this embodiment, the tape core wire 7 has a configuration in which, for example, four
More specifically, the manufacturing apparatus 1 for an optical fiber strand tape core wire moves, for example, to the
Further, above the
As another embodiment, in the case of a four-core tape core wire 7 in which four
In addition, if the plurality of

Further, a curable adhesive resin applied between the adjacent
The curable adhesive resin is not limited to the UV
Further, an adhesive resin outer shape for measuring the adhesive width and adhesive thickness of the UV
Further, a
Referring to FIG. 2, the
Further, the
Further, the
Based on the above configuration, the manufacturing method of the optical fiber strand tape according to the present embodiment will be described. Four
In this way, two or more
Thereafter, the dropped UV
More specifically, immediately after the UV
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4A, when the resin is cured immediately after application of the resin, the ratio (%) of the bonding length BL to the circumferential length of the
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 4C, when the UV
The adhesion per unit area of the
The appropriate bonding length BL differs depending on the types of the
The reason why the taped resins are not in contact with each other is that when the taped resin is removed from the
The reason why the protrusion height H is necessary is that there is no taped resin immediately above the
In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4 (b), two adjacent lights are bonded with BL having a bonding length between (a) and (c). A state having a protruding height that protrudes outward from the tangent line TL in contact with the outer periphery of the
Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the movement of the
Next, the comparison / determination device 55 of the
As described above, the cured state of the UV
The time required for the UV
Further, the UV irradiation amount necessary for fixing the shape of the UV
Next, the reason for the appropriate state of the shape of the UV
As can be seen from Table 1, a UV curable resin 5 (tape material) is applied to an adhesion length BL (area) of 20 to 30% with respect to the circumferential length (surface area) of one
As another example of the optical fiber strand tape 7 obtained by the manufacturing method of the optical fiber strand tape of this embodiment, an optical fiber strand tape as shown in FIG. 5 is obtained. It is also possible.
