Claims (1)
- 開口部が形成された仕切り板と、その仕切り板の両側に設けられた槽より構成され、前記仕切り板の開口部を閉鎖するようにして、表面に塗膜が形成されたバラストタンク用金属材料で成る試験片が、その試験片の両表面が前記両側の槽に夫々臨むようにして保持されると共に、前記両側の槽には夫々、槽内に注入される試験液の液位調節機能と、その試験液並びに槽内の気相部の温度調節機能が設けられている塗膜耐食性評価装置を用いて、前記試験片の塗膜の耐食性を評価するバラストタンク用金属材料の塗膜耐食性評価方法であって、
前記両側の槽に注入される試験液の温度差を10℃〜80℃、且つ、高温側の試験液の温度を30℃〜80℃、低温側の試験液の温度を少なくともその試験液の凝固点を超える温度として、前記試験片の両表面が夫々臨む両側の槽内に注入される試験液或いは気相部に温度差を設けた状態で、試験片の塗膜の耐食性評価面を少なくとも高温側の槽に臨ませると共に、
前記両側の槽に注入される試験液の液位を、高液位とする期間と低液位とする期間を設け、前記試験片が試験液に浸漬される部位を、高液位期間ではその下部のみ、低液位期間では全面を未浸漬とし、高液位期間と低液位期間を順次交互に繰り返し、且つ、高液位期間の方が低液位期間より長期間とすることで、塗膜の耐食性を評価することを特徴とするバラストタンク用金属材料の塗膜耐食性評価方法。
