更に、埋設物保護板の縦断面形状としては、隣接させる他の埋設物保護板との合わせ目(長手方向での一端部8C,他端部8D)を、例えば、合決(あいじゃくり)構造に形成して、重ねて施工するものであってもよい。
また、平面形状に関しても、先の実施形態のものに限るものではなく、例えば、先の実施形態で説明したように、埋設物保護板の長手方向での一端部8C,他端部8Dの山(頂部)と谷(谷底)とを結ぶ線が、幅方向でのセンターラインより左右何れかに偏ったものに限るものではなく、センターラインと一致するように形成されているものであってもよい。更には、前記一端部8Cと他端部8Dの形状そのものは、直線状の山・谷形状に限るものではなく、例えば、曲線を含む形状の山・谷形状であってもよい。そして、山・谷を設けない矩形や平行四辺形等の平面形状の埋設物保護板であってもよく、適宜変更することが可能である。
〈3〉 埋設物保護板の設置に関しては、先の実施形態で説明したように、長尺埋設物の上方に一重に配置したものに限らず、例えば、複数層に積み重なる状態に設置して、より補強するものであってもよい。
また、埋設物保護板の材質は、先に説明した硬質セラミックスや鋳鉄の何れであってもよく、更には、これらと同等又はそれ以上の硬さの材質であってもよい。
〈4〉 先の実施形態で説明した埋設物保護板の設置構造において、保護金属板5を上方に設置したものを説明したが、必ずしも保護金属板5を設けなくてもよい。但し、その場合、埋設物保護板の厚み寸法や幅寸法を増加させるのが好ましい。
