Description
The present invention relates to an eye light stimulator, and more specifically, irradiates the fundus oculi observation light and stimulus light to the eye fundus of the subject through the objective lens, and locally stimulates the retina with the stimulus light, and the bioelectric signal from the retina The present invention relates to an eye light stimulation apparatus for performing an examination.
Conventionally, mainly as an ophthalmic examination, not only the fundus image is taken and the fundus examination is performed, but also the action potential generated in the retina is measured by irradiating stimulation light to the retina and the electroretinogram (ERG). A light-stimulated retinal examination (ERG examination) in which an ophthalmic physiological examination is performed is known.
In the ERG inspection, background light that illuminates the background irradiated with the stimulation light is required, and an appropriate combination of the intensity of the background light and the intensity of the stimulation light determines the quality of the ERG inspection. The following Non-Patent
Further, Patent Document 3 describes a configuration in which the fundus for observing the subject's eye with a non-mydriatic pupil and using a light beam for observing and photographing the subject's eye as stimulation light. Patent Document 4 describes the use of stimulation light for the fundus. The structure which attaches to the fundus camera as a unit with the light stimulating device which irradiates to a fundus camera and performs ERG inspection is disclosed. In the configuration of Patent Document 5, the entire retina is irradiated with white light using a white light emitting diode, spot light from a high-intensity light emitting diode is irradiated as stimulation light against this background, and the fundus is observed with infrared light. While doing local ERG examination.
As described in
The present invention has been made in order to solve such problems, and provides an eye light stimulator capable of performing accurate alignment by performing accurate alignment and light adaptation of the eye to be examined. This is the issue.
The present invention
An eye light stimulating device that irradiates the fundus oculi observation light and stimulation light through the objective lens to the eye to be examined, performs local biostimulation with bioelectric signals from the retina by locally stimulating the retina with the stimulation light,
A projection optical system that projects first background light onto the fundus of the eye to be examined through an objective lens;
A projection optical system that projects second background light from the periphery of the objective lens onto the fundus of the eye to be examined,
During fundus observation, the first background light is turned off, and the second background light is projected from the periphery of the objective lens onto the fundus of the eye to be examined.
In the present invention, the background light irradiated to the fundus through the objective lens is extinguished during alignment before the biopsy, so fundus observation performed through the objective lens or fixation performed through the objective lens is performed. Accurate alignment can be performed without being disturbed by background light. Further, since the eye to be examined is irradiated with background light from the periphery of the objective lens in preparation for the biopsy, the eye to be examined is sufficiently brightly adapted during the biopsy, and a reliable biopsy can be performed.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on embodiments shown in the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows an ophthalmologic examination apparatus composed of a photostimulation apparatus composed of a photostimulation unit body 10 and a stimulation light source unit 50. In FIG. 1, R indicates a position conjugate with the fundus 1a of the
The light stimulation unit main body 10 is provided with an illumination optical system that illuminates the fundus of the eye to be examined and an imaging optical system that forms an image of the illuminated fundus. In the illumination optical system, an illumination light source 11 such as a halogen lamp emits visible light and infrared light, and a part thereof is reflected by the
Visible light from the illumination light source 11 projected onto the fundus is used as background light during ERG inspection, as will be described later. Therefore, the illumination light source 11 serves as a background light source, and the illumination optical system uses the background light as an objective. It functions as a projection optical system that projects onto the fundus through the lens.
In the illumination optical system, the visible cut
Reflected light from the fundus 1a is received through the
A stimulating light source unit 50 including a stimulating light source 51 composed of a light emitting diode or the like that emits visible light is attached to the photostimulation unit main body 10. The stimulation light source 51 can be moved in an xy plane perpendicular to the optical axis by a lever 57.
Further, in the stimulation light source unit 50, a plurality of
When the
In the ERG examination, in addition to stimulation light, visible background light is projected onto the fundus. As described above, visible light from the illumination light source 11 projected onto the fundus through the

In order to observe the projection index (stimulation light) by the stimulation light source 51 and display it on the
In order to prevent the visible light from the stimulation light source 51 divided and reflected by the
On the other hand, a working distance light source 94 (hereinafter referred to as a WD light source) is provided for alignment. The WD
The illumination optical system is provided with a focus dot
In the initial stage of alignment, the anterior ocular segment observation lens 42 is inserted on the opposite side of the
The computer (control unit) 80 can set various measurement conditions in order to perform a local ERG examination. As measurement conditions, the intensity (light quantity) of background light obtained from the
Of course, a hardware configuration may be adopted in which all the control performed by the
In this embodiment, a
In such a configuration, the flow of performing alignment with the eye to be examined and local ERG examination will be described according to the table shown in FIG. In FIG. 3, the circle mark indicates that the light amount is a normal light amount, the triangle mark indicates that the light amount is weak, and the X mark indicates that there is no light amount, that is, the light source that emits the light is turned off. It means a state that is completely shielded from light, or is practically the same as a state that is sufficiently dimmed and shielded from light, that is, a light-off state. “WD light” means working distance light from the WD
First, the anterior eye alignment mode (S1) is entered, the internal fixation lamp 43 is turned on, and the subject gazes at this fixation lamp. Further, the anterior segment
Subsequently, the fundus alignment mode (S2) is entered, the anterior ocular segment observation lens 42 is removed from the optical path, and the anterior ocular segment
At the time of fundus alignment, the first background light applied to the fundus through the
When the fundus alignment and focus adjustment are completed, the biopsy is started. First, the stimulation mode (S3) is entered, the stimulation light source 51 is turned on, the retina of the eye to be examined is locally stimulated by the stimulation light, and a bioelectric signal is generated from the retina. At this time, since the focus dot light interferes with the monitor, the focus dot
Subsequently, the measurement mode (S4) is entered, and the bioelectric signal from the
When the ERG measurement is completed (S5), the process returns to the anterior segment alignment (S1) and is performed on the subject eye of a different subject, or on the opposite eye of the same subject, or on the same subject. The same processing is performed on the same left and right eyes of the person.
In the illumination light source unit of the eye light stimulator of the present invention, a
