Description
又、前記の方法で検出器の配置が決定されたことを特徴とするPET装置を提供するものである。
Claims (11)
- 体軸方向に検出器リングが互いに対向するように多層に配列されたPET装置であり、
各々所定数の検出器リングからなる所定数の検出器ユニットが互いに隙間を空けて配列されており、該隙間が各々隙間を形成する二つの検出器ユニット幅の平均以下である第1のリングセットと、
所定数の検出器ユニットから構成される第2のリングセットが、
第1のリングセットの幅と第2のリングセットの幅の平均以下となる隙間を隔てて配列されることで、
該隙間を含み、第1のリングセットと第2のリングセットの全長に渡る体軸方向に連続した視野を画像化するようにされ、
更に、前記検出器ユニット間又はリングセット間の少なくとも一部の隙間に合わせて、ガントリの少なくとも一部が開放されていることを特徴とするPET装置。 - 少なくとも前記第1のリングセットと前記第2リングセットを内包する第3のリングセットと、
所定数の検出器ユニットから構成される第4のリングセットが、
第3のリングセットの幅と第4のリングセットの幅の平均以下となる隙間を隔てて配列されることで、
該隙間を含み、第3のリングセットと第4のリングセットの全長に渡る体軸方向に連続した視野を画像化することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のPET装置。 - 少なくとも一つの検出器ユニットがマルチリング型検出器であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のPET装置。
- 同じリングセットを複数含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載のPET装置。
- 前記リングセットを構成する検出器ユニット数、検出器ユニット幅、及び、検出器ユニット間の隙間の少なくとも一つが異なるリングセットを複数含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載のPET装置。
- 前記リングセットの体軸方向寸法、及び/又は、リングセット間の間隔が、リングセット、及び/又は、リングセット間で変えられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のPET装置。
- 前記検出器ユニット又はリングセットの少なくとも一部が体軸方向に移動する構造を持ち、少なくとも一部の隙間を可変とすることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のPET装置。
- 前記検出器ユニットを構成する検出素子ブロックの体軸方向寸法と、前記検出器ユニットの体軸方向寸法が同じであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載のPET装置。
- 前記検出器ユニット間の間隔と同寸の隙間を空けて配置された所定数の検出素子ブロックが、一体化されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載のPET装置。
- 複数の検出器ユニットが互いに体軸方向に隙間を隔てて対向するように配列され、該隙間を含む体軸方向に連続した視野を画像化するようにされたPET装置の検出器リングの配置を決定する様に、
幅Wの検出器又は検出素子ブロックで構成される検出器リングをユニット[0]とし、
D[0]個のユニット[0]をα[0]×Wの間隔を空けて配置して、全体に渡り幅W[1]の連続した体軸方向視野を確保した構成全体を、ユニット[1]とするステップと、
D[1]個のユニット[1]をα[1]×W[1]の間隔を空けて配置して、全体に渡り幅W[2]の連続した体軸方向視野を確保した構成全体を、ユニット[2]とするステップと、
上記のステップを計N回繰り返して、ユニット[N]を得るステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする検出器の配置決定方法。 - 請求項10に記載の方法で検出器の配置が決定されたことを特徴とするPET装置。
