Description
Claims (35)
- 入口及び出口を有するハウジングと、
前記入口と出口との間でハウジング内に回転可能に取り付けられた複数の羽根を含む動翼輪とを具え、前記ハウジングの内壁が形成している表面は、動翼輪がその軸を中心に回転するとき前記表面上を通過していく動翼羽根の半径方向外縁に近接して配置されている、気体を圧縮するための圧縮機において、
前記入口は、動翼輪から離れて上流方向に延び、入口の吸気部を形成している外側管状壁と、外側管状壁内で動翼輪から離れて上流方向に延び、入口のインデューサ部を形成している直径を有する内側管状壁と、内側及び外側管状壁間に形成された環状気体流通路とを具え、該環状気体流通路は動翼輪と流体連通し、
前記動翼羽根の上流には、前記入口の長さに沿って、該入口を形成しているハウジングの部分の内面に形成された複数の騒音減衰開口が設けられている圧縮機。 - 前記入口は、前記ハウジングの内部に配置された部材によって形成され、各騒音減衰開口は前記部材に形成されている請求項1に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記部材はハウジングの入口部分の一端で支持され、前記内側管状壁は該挿入物によって形成されている請求項2に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記内側管状壁は、環状気体流通路において支持されていない請求項3に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記部材は、ハウジングの入口部分の一端で支持されている第1部分を有し、該第1部分の外表面がハウジングの入口部分の前記一端を係合している請求項3又は4に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記部材の第1部分は、外側管状壁の内表面に係合する外側環状部と、空気を入口部分の取入れ口に導く内側テーパ部とを有する請求項5に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記部材は、前記内側管状壁を形成する第2部分を有し、該第2部分は、第1部分に繋がっており、第1部分と第2部分の間には不連続な環状スロットが形成されている請求項6又は7に記載の圧縮機。
- 少なくとも1つの騒音減衰開口が内側管状壁の内面に形成されている請求項1乃至7の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
- 少なくとも1つの騒音減衰開口が外側管状壁の内面に形成されている請求項1乃至8の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
- 少なくとも1つの騒音減衰開口が内側管状壁の外面に形成されている請求項1乃至9の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記環状気体流通路の長さに沿って複数の騒音減衰開口が形成されている請求項1乃至10の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
- 少なくとも1つの騒音減衰開口が盲穴である請求項1乃至11の何れかに記載の圧縮機。
- 少なくとも1つの騒音減衰開口が細長い溝である請求項1乃至12の何れかに記載の圧縮機。
- 前記1又は複数の溝は、入口の周囲を円周状に延びている請求項13に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記1又は複数の溝は、入口の中心軸と実質的に平行な方向に延びている請求項13に記載の圧縮機。
- 少なくとも1つの騒音減衰開口が、入口の中又は周囲に形成された密閉チャンバと連通している請求項1乃至15の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
- 少なくとも1つの騒音減衰開口が吸音材で内側を覆われている請求項1乃至16の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
- 各開口の深さは、所定のブレード通過周波数で発せられる騒音の波長の実質的に4分の1である請求項1乃至15又は17の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
- 少なくとも1つの騒音減衰開口が実質的に円形である請求項1乃至11の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
- 各騒音減衰開口は実質的に非円形である請求項1乃至18の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記入口はハウジングの一体部分である請求項1乃至20の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記入口は、動翼羽根の外縁が通過していくハウジングの前記表面の上流の延長である内表面を形成している請求項1乃至21の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
- 各騒音減衰用開口は、非半径方向に延びる縦軸を有する請求項11又は18に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記開口の縦軸は、入口の軸に対して90°未満の角度で傾斜している方向に延びている請求項23に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記ハウジングは鋳造によって形成される請求項1乃至24の何れかに記載の圧縮機。
- 請求項1乃至25の何れかに記載の圧縮機を具えているターボチャージャ。
- 入口及び出口を有するハウジングと、
前記入口と出口との間でハウジング内に回転可能に取り付けられた複数の羽根を含む動翼輪とを具え、前記ハウジングの内壁が形成している表面は、動翼輪がその軸を中心に回転するとき前記表面上を通過していく動翼羽根の半径方向外縁に近接して配置されている、気体を圧縮するための圧縮機において、
前記入口は、動翼輪から離れて上流方向に延び、入口の吸気部を形成している外側管状壁と、外側管状壁内で動翼輪から離れて上流方向に延び、入口のインデューサ部を形成している直径を有する内側管状壁と、内側及び外側管状壁間に形成された環状気体流通路とを具え、該環状気体流通路は動翼輪と流体連通し、
前記動翼羽根の上流には、前記入口に形成された少なくとも1つの騒音減衰開口が設けられ、
前記入口は、前記ハウジングの内部に配置された部材によって形成され、前記騒音減衰開口は前記部材に形成され、前記部材はハウジングの入口部分の一端で支持され、前記内側管状壁は前記部材によって形成されている圧縮機。 - 前記騒音減衰開口は、前記入口を形成しているハウジングの部分の内面に形成されている請求項27に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記内側管状壁は、環状気体流通路において支持されていない請求項28に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記部材は、ハウジングの入口部分の一端で支持されている第1部分を有し、該第1部分の外表面がハウジングの入口部分の前記一端を係合している請求項27又は28に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記部材の第1部分は、外側管状壁の内表面に係合する外側環状部と、空気を入口部分の取入れ口に導く内側テーパ部とを有する請求項30に記載の圧縮機。
- 前記部材は、前記内側管状壁を形成する第2部分を有し、該第2部分は、第1部分に繋がっており、第1部分と第2部分の間には不連続な環状スロットが形成されている請求項30又は31に記載の圧縮機。
- 少なくとも1つの騒音減衰開口が内側管状壁の内面に形成されている請求項27乃至32の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
- 少なくとも1つの騒音減衰開口が外側管状壁の内面に形成されている請求項27乃至32の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
- 少なくとも1つの騒音減衰開口が内側管状壁の外面に形成されている請求項27乃至34の何れか1項に記載の圧縮機。
