Description
本発明の第1実施形態によると、感光層は化学線に選択的に露光されるが、前記化学線は、感光層、特に微細な外観が現像される領域の酸素を急冷するために十分な強度ではあるが、感光層を硬化する強度ではない。よって、微細な外観領域等の感光層の特定の領域に予め感度が与えられ(pre−sensitized)、一方では、シャドー領域等の他の領域に予め感度が与えられないか、又はより少ない程度に予め感度が与えられる。
基板上に形成された感光層を含むデジタル感光性印刷要素を準備する工程、
前記感光性印刷要素を準備する工程が、前記感光層表面を選択的に硬化して前記感光層表面に硬化及び未硬化領域を形成することで所望の画像が前記感光層表面に形成可能であり、形成される前記画像がデジタル画像ファイルに含まれる;
画像と同じラインスクリーン、スクリーン角度、及びレジストレーションで所望の画像のスクリーンティントを含むスクリーンティントバンプデータファイルを準備する工程;
前記スクリーンティントバンプデータファイルを実行することで化学線の選択的な前露光量を供給し、前記スクリーンティントバンプデータファイルに従って、前記感光層表面をスクリーンティント処理して前記化学線に前記感光層表面の一部を選択的に前露光する工程;
前記印刷要素上にデジタル処理で画像を提供し、デジタル画像ファイルに従って化学線に前記感光層表面を選択的に像様露光して前記感光層表面に硬化及び未硬化領域を形成する工程;並びに
前記感光層の未硬化部分を選択的に取り除いて、前記レリーフ画像を露呈する工程。
Claims (11)
- レリーフ画像印刷版の製造方法であって、
基板上に形成された感光層を含む感光性印刷要素を準備する工程、
前記感光性印刷要素を準備する工程が、前記感光層表面を選択的に硬化して前記感光層表面に硬化及び未硬化領域を形成することで所望の画像が前記感光層表面に形成可能であり、形成される前記画像がデジタル画像ファイルに含まれる;
ラインスクリーン、スクリーン角度、及びレジストレーションにおいて画像ファイルと一致するスクリーンティントを含むスクリーンティントバンプデータファイルを準備する工程;
前記スクリーンティントバンプデータファイルを実行することで化学線の選択的な前露光量を供給し、前記スクリーンティントバンプデータファイルに従って、前記感光層表面をスクリーンティント処理して前記化学線に前記感光層表面の一部を選択的に前露光する前露光工程;
前記印刷要素上にデジタル処理で画像を提供し、デジタル画像ファイルに従って化学線に前記感光層表面を選択的に像様露光して前記感光層表面に硬化及び未硬化領域を形成する像様露光工程;並びに
前記感光層の未硬化部分を選択的に取り除いて、前記レリーフ画像を露呈する工程
を含み、
前記前露光工程と前記像様露光工程との間に遅延時間を設けることを特徴とするレリーフ画像印刷版の製造方法。 - 形成される画像が、ハイライトドット、ミットトーンドット、及びシャドードットを含むハーフトーンドットを含み、且つスクリーンティントが、形成される画像のハーフトーンドットとレジスターされるスクリーンドットを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- スクリーンティント処理工程が、次の画像形成工程中にハイライトドットが配置される感光層表面の位置にスクリーンティントドットを位置決めし、且つシャドードットの周りにスクリーンティントドットを位置決めしない工程を含む請求項2に記載の方法。
- スクリーンドットの形状が、円形、四角形、多角形、楕円形、及びこれら1つ以上の組み合わせからなる群から選択される請求項2に記載の方法。
- スクリーンティントが、10%〜60%のドットの割合を有する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前露光工程中に使用される化学線源が、単色、マルチプルライン、及び広帯域の化学線源からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 化学線源が、短回照射、又は複数回照射として供給される請求項6に記載の方法。
- 遅延時間が、マイクロ秒から60秒である請求項1に記載の方法。
- スクリーンティントバンプファイルが保存され同様のデジタル画像ファイルに再使用される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前露光工程中に使用される化学線源、及び像様露光工程中に使用される化学線源が、同じエネルギー源である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前露光工程中に使用される化学線源、及び像様露光工程中に使用される化学線源が、個別のエネルギー源である請求項1に記載の方法。
