Claims (8)

電動機を収納するハウジングと、
前記電動機によって駆動される鋸刃の一部を収納するソーカバーと、
被切断材上を摺動可能な底面から前記鋸刃を下方に突出させる開口部が形成されたベースと、
前記ハウジング内に設けられ、前記電動機により回転駆動されてファン風を発生するファンと、を備えた携帯用電動切断機において、
前記ベースの切断方向前方側に設けられ前記鋸刃の刃先位置を指し示すガイド部と、
前記ソーカバーに取り付けられた排出路形成部材と、を備え、
前記排出路形成部材と前記ソーカバーの一部で前記ファン風が流通する排出路を形成し、
前記排出路形成部材と前記ソーカバーの一部が前記排出路から排出する前記ファン風の排出方向を規定し、
前記ファン風を、前記ソーカバー内に排出すると共に、前記ファン風の一部は、前記ソーカバーの鋸刃収納部とモータハウジングとの間の筒状部から前記鋸刃と略平行な方向に前記排出路に排出し前記排出路形成部材と前記ソーカバーの外壁とにより形成された排出路を介して前記ガイド部の上面及び前記ガイド部よりも切断方向前方側の被切断材上に排出する
