2の内壁との隙間を付け根部空間3a下部における鋸刃
1とソーカバー2内壁との隙間よりも大きくする構成と
なっていた。このような構成となっていたため、切粉排
出口3に図示しない集塵機のホースを接続し、集塵機に
よってソーカバー2内の切粉を集塵するようにした場合
には、集塵機の吸引力により図7及び図8に鎖線矢印で
示すようにソーカバー2内の空気が流れるようになりこ
の空気がソーカバー2の段差2bを通り切粉排出口3内
に流れる際に、段差2bが空気の流れに対する抵抗とな
り、笛吹き音が発生してしまう場合があるという欠点が
あった。
