被無害化処理物として60gの純粋クリソタイル100%を36%濃度の塩酸1500gに浸漬して48時間後、及び72時間後に無害化の有無を判断した。48時間経過した段階で一度塩酸から取り出し、5%濃度のフッ化水素酸に3分間浸漬して、クリソタイルを洗浄し、その後再び塩酸中に浸漬した。X線回折の分析データを図5に、位相差顕微鏡を用いた分散染色の分析データを図6〜図8に示す。
被無害化処理物として60gの純粋クリソタイル100%を36%濃度の塩酸1500gに浸漬して48時間後、72時間後、96時間後、120時間後、168時間後における無害化の有無を判断した。この比較例2ではフッ化水素酸による洗浄や処理槽Aへのフッ化水素酸の添加は行わなかった。X線回折の分析データを図9に、位相差顕微鏡を用いた分散染色の分析データを図10〜図14に示す。

Claims (4)
- 被無害化処理物としてのアスベスト及び/又はアスベスト含有物質を、10%〜36%濃度の塩酸に所定時間浸漬した後取り出して、5%濃度以上のフッ化水素酸で表面を洗浄することにより、前記塩酸への浸漬工程中にアスベスト及び/又はアスベスト含有物質に形成された二酸化ケイ素を溶解させ、その後再び10%〜36%濃度の塩酸に前記アスベスト及び/又はアスベスト含有物質を浸漬することにより、被無害化処理物としてのアスベスト及び/又はアスベスト含有物質を無害化処理することを特徴とするアスベストの無害化処理方法。
- 被無害化処理物としてのアスベスト及び/又はアスベスト含有物質を、10%〜36%濃度の塩酸に所定時間浸漬した後取り出して、5%濃度以上のフッ化水素酸で表面を洗浄することにより、前記塩酸への浸漬工程中にアスベスト及び/又はアスベスト含有物質に形成された二酸化ケイ素を溶解させ、その後再び10%〜36%濃度の塩酸に前記アスベスト及び/又はアスベスト含有物質を浸漬し、前記した10%〜36%濃度の塩酸へのアスベスト及び/又はアスベスト含有物質の浸漬と、5%濃度以上のフッ化水素酸での表面洗浄により、アスベスト及び/又はアスベスト含有物質に形成された二酸化ケイ素を溶解させることを繰り返すことにより、アスベスト及び/又はアスベスト含有物質を無害化処理することを特徴とするアスベストの無害化処理方法。
- 塩酸に浸漬することにより、セメント系物質を含むアスベスト含有物質からセメント系物質中のカルシウム化合物を液化させて除去する請求項1又は2記載のアスベストの無害化処理方法。
- 無害化処理した被無害化処理物を中和槽に導いて、アルカリで洗浄してから系外に廃棄する請求項1,2又は3記載のアスベストの無害化処理方法。
