Description
30から出力されたデータをRF信号に変える。ピックアップを備えた記録/読み取り部2は、RF AMP 40から伝送されたRF信号をディスク100に記録する。サーボ50は、システム制御器10からサーボ制御に必要な命令を入力されて、記録/読み取り部2のピックアップをサーボ制御する。特に、本発明によるシステム制御器10は、ディスク100に記録された複数のディスク情報構造を読み取って、このディスク情報構造のパラメータ認識情報テーブルから、この記録/再生装置に適したディスク情報構造を探す。例えば、システム制御器10は、パラメータ認識情報テーブルに記録された記録速度、記録層、WS識別情報を探して、自体の記録速度、記録する層、また自体が支援できるWSのWS識別情報と同一な情報が含まれているパラメータ認識情報テーブルを探し、そのパラメータ認識情報テーブルが含まれているディスク情報構造のパラメータテーブルに含まれている記録と関連したパラメータを参照して、制御部1の各構成要素をセッティングするように制御して、これにより、ディスク100にデータを記録するように制御する。

Claims (2)
- 一層以上の情報記録層を有する情報記録媒体にデータを記録するか、または前記媒体からデータを読み取る記録/再生方法において、
記録速度と記録ストラテジーのタイプを示す情報である記録ストラテジー識別情報を備える記録特性に関する情報を含む第1のテーブルと、前記記録速度と前記記録ストラテジー識別情報に対応する状態に記録/再生装置を設定する際に使用する記録と関連したパラメータを含む第2のテーブルと、を有する前記情報記録媒体に記録された各ディスク情報構造から、少なくとも1つのディスク情報構造を読み取るステップと、
前記情報記録媒体に適用される記録速度と記録ストラテジー識別情報とを含む記録特性を決定するステップと、
前記第1テーブルに含まれる前記記録特性に関する情報を利用して少なくとも一つのディスク情報構造から前記決定された記録特性に対応する一つのディスク情報構造を選択して、選択されたディスク情報構造に含まれる第2テーブルの記録と関連したパラメータを読み取るステップと、
前記記録と関連したパラメータを利用して前記記録/再生装置を設定するステップと、
前記記録/再生装置が前記記録と関連したパラメータを用いて設定された状態で、前記情報記録媒体にデータを記録するステップを含み、
前記記録と関連したパラメータは、前記記録ストラテジーに含まれる所定のパルスの周期情報及びパルスのパワーレベル情報を含むことを特徴とする記録/再生方法。 - 前記情報記録媒体は、予め記録された領域と記録可能領域を含むリードイン領域を含み、前記ディスク情報構造は前記リードイン領域の前記予め記録された領域に保存されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の記録/再生方法。
