Description
Claims (13)
- 本体部と、結合部で前記本体部に接続される先端部とを備え、所定の軸に沿って延びる挿入用の中空のガイドとともに用いられて当該ガイドを貫通自在で、かつ、当該ガイドに沿って移動自在なカテーテルであって、
前記結合部の断面は、前記本体部および前記先端部のそれぞれの断面と異なる形状の断面であって、
前記先端部および前記結合部が前記ガイドの拘束から解放されると、
第1方向を向く前記本体部の軸心から外れる第2方向に向かって前記先端部を曲げる形状の断面であることを特徴とするカテーテル。 - 請求項1に記載のカテーテルにおいて、前記結合部を除いて前記本体部および前記先端部の断面は円形であることを特徴とするカテーテル。
- 請求項1または2に記載のカテーテルにおいて、前記結合部の断面は長円形状であることを特徴とするカテーテル。
- 請求項1または2に記載のカテーテルにおいて、前記結合部の断面はC形状であることを特徴とするカテーテル。
- 請求項1または2に記載のカテーテルにおいて、前記結合部の断面は、前記本体部の中心軸に向かって内側に部分的に窪むことを特徴とするカテーテル。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のカテーテルにおいて、前記先端部は、前記カテーテルの先端から3mm〜15cmの長さを有することを特徴とするカテーテル。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のカテーテルにおいて、前記ガイドは患者への挿入用の針カニューラを備え、前記カテーテルは、前記針カニューラに挿入自在で前記針カニューラを貫通し、患者の局所に麻酔薬または他の処理剤を適用する局所麻酔用のカテーテルであることを特徴とするカテーテル。
- 請求項7に記載のカテーテルにおいて、前記他の処理剤は、電気エネルギー、無線周波数、マイクロ波および超音波の少なくともいずれかを含むことを特徴とするカテーテル。
- 請求項1に記載のカテーテルにおいて、前記結合部は、前記結合部が前記ガイドの外側に突き出て前記ガイドの拘束から解放されると前記先端部の曲げを引き起こす非円形の断面を有し、前記カテーテルは前記先端部の曲げに応じて患者内の所望位置に移動することができることを特徴とするカテーテル。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のカテーテルにおいて、前記ガイドは患者の脊柱への挿入用の硬膜外針を備えることを特徴とするカテーテル。
- 請求項1に記載のカテーテルにおいて、前記結合部では少なくとも部分的に壁厚が小さいことを特徴とするカテーテル。
- 請求項1に記載のカテーテルにおいて、前記結合部は、前記本体部および前記先端部と異なる可撓性を有することを特徴とするカテーテル。
- 請求項1に記載のカテーテルにおいて、前記ガイドはカニューラを備え、前記カテーテルは、前記カニューラに挿入自在で前記カニューラを貫通し、患者の局所に麻酔薬を適用する局所麻酔用カテーテルであることを特徴とするカテーテル。
