たとえば表示装置、操作盤などの電子機器の表示板を、開口を塞ぐようにボックスに取り付ける取付装置として、表示板の裏面に取り付けられ、かつ屈曲部を有する板バネと、ボックス内に設けられ、かつ板バネの屈曲部が係合する突起部と、板バネの屈曲部または突起部に設けられ、かつ表示板の引き抜き時の摩擦力が挿入時の摩擦力よりも大きくなるように係合する係止部とをそなえたものが知られている(特許文献1参照)。

しかしながら、特許文献1記載の取付装置においては、大きな力を必要とはするものの、誰にでも取り外し具を用いずにボックスの外側から取り外すことができるので、盗難防止対策としては不十分であった。
