Description
Claims (7)
- 線形加速器であって、
複数の加速キャビティであって、隣り合う一対の加速キャビティが連結キャビティを介して連結され、少なくとも1つの連結キャビティが、当該連結キャビティにより得られる連結を変化させるよう回転自在な回転非対称部材を有するような、複数の加速キャビティと、
線形加速器の動作を制御するよう設置され、前記回転非対称部材の回転を制御するような制御手段と、
を備え、
前記制御手段は、パルス方式により前記線形加速器を作動し、一対のパルス間で前記回転非対称部材を回転させて連続するパルスのエネルギーを制御するようになっており、
前記回転非対称部材は、線形加速器が作動する間、連続的に回転することを特徴とする線形加速器。 - 前記制御手段は、前記回転非対称部材の角度に対する、連続するパルスの位相を調節することを特徴とする請求項1記載の線形加速器。
- 前記線形加速器のパルスレートは、前記回転非対称部材の回転速度の約2倍であることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の線形加速器。
- 前記制御手段は、前記回転非対称部材が特定の位相にあるときに前記線形加速器を作動させないような制御メカニズムを有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の線形加速器。
- 前記制御手段は、前記回転非対称部材の角度および前記パルスの位相に基づいて、前記線形加速器に供給される無線周波数の力を調整するよう設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の線形加速器。
- 前記回転非対称部材は、前記線形加速器の真空部分内に設置され、当該回転非対称部材は、当該真空部分の外部にある部分によって電磁相互作用により回転させられることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の線形加速器。
- 電磁相互作用は、前記回転非対称部材上にある少なくとも1つの磁気的に偏極した部材と、前記真空部分の外部にある少なくとも1つの電気コイルとの間に生じることを特徴とする請求項6記載の線形加速器。
