Description

The present invention relates to a disposable diaper.

Conventionally, various disposable diapers having a function of notifying wetness by urination have been proposed. For example, Patent Document 1 describes a disposable diaper in which means for detecting excrement is disposed on at least a part of the peripheral edge inside the back sheet.
In addition, in disposable diapers, especially adult disposable diapers, an auxiliary absorbent device such as a urine absorbent pad is placed on the inner surface of the disposable diaper in order to reduce the economic and labor burden associated with changing the diaper. In many cases, disposable diapers are worn with the auxiliary absorbent.

However, when using an auxiliary absorbent in combination with a disposable diaper, the urine detector is not covered by the auxiliary absorbent and the urine detector does not function if the urine detector is placed in the center of the disposable diaper's crotch. There is. On the other hand, when the urine detection agent is disposed on both sides in the width direction of the crotch part, as shown in FIG. 6, in a diaper having a general configuration, the crotch part of the diaper is an elastic member 7 arranged around the legs. It contracts in the width direction due to the contraction force, and the width becomes substantially the same as the width of the auxiliary absorbent 13 so that urine overflowing from the auxiliary absorbent cannot be detected.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a disposable diaper that can efficiently detect urine overflowing from an auxiliary absorbent device.

The present invention relates to a disposable diaper having a top sheet, a back sheet, and a vertically long absorbent core positioned between the two sheets, wherein a region between both side edges of the absorbent core in the crotch region is defined as the absorbent core. A first elastic member is disposed in each of the side regions when divided into a central region and a pair of side regions each occupying 1/3 of the width of each of the absorbent cores. A second elastic member is disposed on the outer side of each edge, and the urine detection agent is disposed in a region between the first elastic member and the side edge of the absorbent core on each side of the disposable diaper. The first and second elastic members and the urine detection agent are disposed along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core and are disposable diapers that do not cross each other over the entire length of the crotch. Achieved the above purpose by providing A.

According to the disposable diaper of the present invention, urine overflowing from the auxiliary absorbent device can be detected efficiently.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described based on preferred embodiments thereof.
The disposable diaper 1 (hereinafter also referred to as diaper 1) of the present embodiment is a so-called unfolded diaper, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a liquid-permeable top sheet 2 and a liquid-impermeable back sheet. 3 and a liquid-retaining absorbent core 4 positioned between the two sheets 2 and 3, which are substantially vertically long. Liquid permeability is a concept including poor permeability.
Fastening tape 50 is provided at both side edge portions of the back side portion A disposed on the back side of the wearer when worn in the diaper 1, and the outside of the abdominal side portion B disposed on the abdomen side of the wearer when worn. A landing zone 51 on which the fastening tape 50 can be detachably fixed is provided on the surface.

The outer shape of the diaper 1 has an hourglass shape in which the central portion in the longitudinal direction is narrowed. Both side edges of the crotch part C are parallel to each other over substantially the entire length of the crotch part C in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1.
The absorbent core 4 has a substantially rectangular outer shape, a rectangular surface sheet 2 is arranged on the inner surface side, and a back sheet 3 having the same shape as the diaper outer shape is arranged on the outer surface side. Has been. The surface of the absorbent core 4 on the surface sheet 2 side is covered with a liquid-permeable covering material 46, and the surface of the absorbent core 4 on the back sheet 3 side is also covered with a liquid-permeable covering material 42.
Both side edges of the top sheet 2 are located slightly outward along the both side edges 41, 41 of the absorbent core 4 so that the hydrophobic sheet material 5 straddles the top sheet 2 and the back sheet 3. It is arranged and joined on both sheets 2 and 3. In addition, in FIG. 1, illustration of the boundary line of the surface sheet 2 and the sheet | seat material 5 is abbreviate | omitted.

In the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, a region between the side edges 41 and 41 of the absorbent core 4 in the crotch C is paired with a central region M that occupies 1/3 of the width W of the absorbent core. The first elastic members 6 and 6 are disposed in the side regions S and S when divided into the side regions S and S, respectively. The second elastic members 7 are disposed on the side.
Here, as shown in FIG. 1, the crotch part C is a state in which the disposable diaper is tensioned (a state in which the elastic member of each part is stretched, hereinafter referred to as a diaper tension state) in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1. This is a central region when the full length L is divided into three equal parts and divided into three regions. The width W of the absorbent core 4 is the width W of the absorbent core 4 under a diaper tension state. If the width W of the absorbent core 4 is not uniform in the longitudinal direction of the crotch C, the width of the portion of the crotch C where the both side edges of the absorbent core are closest to each other is defined as W. As shown in the figure, a central region occupying 1/3 of the width W is defined as a central region M, and regions from both side edges of the central region M to the side edges 41 of the absorbent core 4 are side regions. S, S. When a part or the whole of the absorbent core is divided in the diaper width direction, the outer edge of the outermost portion in the width direction is defined as the side edge 41 of the absorbent core.

Three first elastic members 6 are arranged on each side of the diaper 1, and are arranged in parallel with a diaper longitudinal center line (a central line extending in the longitudinal direction, not shown). Two second elastic members 7 are arranged on each side of the diaper 1, and are arranged in parallel with the diaper longitudinal center line (center line extending in the longitudinal direction). The first elastic member 6 is mainly intended to bend the absorbent core 4 at the position where the elastic member 6 is disposed when the diaper 1 is worn. It is being fixed between the coating | covering material 42 and the back surface sheet 3 via the adhesive agent (not shown). The second elastic member 7 is mainly intended to bring the side edge of the diaper into close contact with the circumference of the wearer's leg when the diaper 1 is worn. The sheet material 5 and the back sheet 3 are fixed via an adhesive (not shown).

In the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, the urine detection agent 8 is linearly arranged in a region R1 between the first elastic member 6 and the side edge 41 of the absorbent core on each side of the diaper 1.
The urine detection agent causes a change that can be visually recognized by contact with urine. As the urine detection agent, a hydrophilic composition containing a substance that visually changes upon contact with moisture (hereinafter referred to as a discoloration substance) is preferably used.

The changes that can be visually recognized include when the color changes before and after contact with moisture, when the color disappears upon contact with moisture, when the color appears upon contact with moisture, and when there are two or more of these cases The case where it combines is mentioned. Among these, those that change color before and after contact with moisture are preferable. Examples of the discoloring substance include a pH indicator. It is preferable to use a pH indicator whose color changes before and after contact with urine. For example, bromophenol blue, methyl orange, alizan S, bromocresol green, methyl red, bromocresol purple, resazurin and the like that change color at pH 3-7 are preferred.

The urine detection agent is preferably stably immobilized on the surface of the back sheet 3 and / or the covering material 42 until it comes into contact with moisture. As a method of immobilization, a method of applying the urine detector on the surface of the back sheet 3 or the covering material 42 as a composition in which a discoloring substance and an adhesive substance (adhesive component) are mixed is simple and reliable. As the adhesive substance, a hydrophilic substance is preferable from the viewpoint of compatibility with the discoloring substance. Examples of such substances include polyethylene glycol (PEG), polypropylene glycol (PPG), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), polyamide, vinyl pyrrolidone homopolymer, and the like. These hydrophilic polymers preferably have a number average molecular weight of 1,000 to 50,000, particularly 2,000 to 20,000 from the viewpoint of providing reliable fixation.

As shown in FIG. 2, the urine detection agent 8 in the diaper 1 of the present embodiment is disposed between the covering material 42 that covers the absorbent core 4 and the back sheet 3. More specifically, a urine detector composed of a hot melt composition in which a pH indicator (for example, bromophenol blue) is mixed with an adhesive substance is applied to the surface of the back sheet 3 on the absorbent core 4 side, and urine is applied. On the coated surface of the detection agent, an absorbent body in which the surface on the back sheet 3 side of the absorbent core 4 is covered with a covering material 42 is placed.

Three urine detecting agents 8 in the diaper 1 of the present embodiment are arranged on both sides of the diaper 1, and each of them is linear so as to extend in parallel with the diaper longitudinal center line (center line extending in the longitudinal direction). It is arranged in. These three urine detection agents 8, 8. Are over the back side A, the crotch C and the abdomen B of the diaper. Moreover, these three urine detection agents 8, 8, and are arranged in parallel at a predetermined interval in the diaper width direction. The width of each urine detection agent 8 in the diaper 1 of the present embodiment is about 0.5 to 8 mm, and preferably about 1 to 3 mm.

In the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, the first and second elastic members 6 and 7 and the urine detection agent 8 are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core 4 and are inseam as shown in FIG. They do not cross each other over the entire length of the part C. That is, in the crotch part C of the diaper 1, the first elastic member 6 and the urine detecting agent 8 do not intersect, the second elastic member 7 and the urine detecting agent 8 do not intersect, and the first The elastic member 6 and the second elastic member 7 do not intersect. The first and second elastic members 6 and 7 and the urine detection agent 8 in the present embodiment are arranged in parallel with the diaper longitudinal center line (the center line extending in the longitudinal direction), and the crotch portion C and the front and rear thereof. The dorsal part A and the ventral part B do not cross each other. In addition, like the diaper 1 of this embodiment, when two or more 1st elastic members 6 and 2nd elastic members 7 are distribute | arranged to each both sides of a diaper, the 1st elastic members of the left and right same side Alternatively, the second elastic members on the same left and right sides may cross each other. The same applies to the urine detection agent 8. When a plurality of urine detection agents 8 are linearly arranged on both sides of the diaper, the left and right urine detection agents 8 may cross each other. The urine detection agent 8 does not need to be continuous in the longitudinal direction, and a plurality of urine detection agents 8 may be arranged apart from each other.

Although the diaper 1 of this embodiment can also be used independently, without using an auxiliary absorber together, as shown in FIG. It can be placed on the side surface and worn on the wearer 11 together with the auxiliary absorber. In addition, the code | symbol 12 in FIG.3 and FIG.4 has shown the position of a wearer's buttocks.

According to the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, when the diaper is worn (made) together with the auxiliary absorbent 13, as shown in FIG. 4, the absorbent core is disposed at the position where the first elastic member 6 is disposed. 4 bends along the first elastic member 6, and a portion located outwardly in the diaper width direction comes into contact with the inner surface of the wearer's thigh.
Thereby, the part (side piece 44) located in each said side part area | region S, S of the absorptive core 4 exists reliably on both sides of the auxiliary | assistant absorber 13, and urine from both sides of the auxiliary | assistant absorber 13 exists. When overflowing, the urine can be reliably absorbed by the absorbent core 4 in each of the side regions S and S.

In addition, the urine detection agent 8 is disposed in the side region S, and the urine detection agent 8 can be visually recognized when the absorbent core 4 in the side region S gets wet with urine to some extent. Since the first elastic member 6, the second elastic member 7, and the urine detection agent 8 are arranged so as not to intersect with each other over the entire length of the crotch, Even if urine leaks from the position, it is possible to cause a change in the urine detection agent 8, and further, a visually observable change in the urine detection agent 8 is caused by the first elastic member 6 and the second elastic member 6. It can be easily visually recognized from the outside by swelling between the elastic members 7 so as to protrude in the direction opposite to the skin side of the wearer (see FIG. 4).

In this way, according to the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, it is possible to easily and reliably know an appropriate replacement time for the diaper. In particular, as in the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, when each of the urine detection agent 8, the first elastic member 6, and the second elastic member 7 is parallel along the longitudinal direction of the diaper, the second elastic member 7 is used. Since the first elastic member 6 is difficult to move at the buttocks, the force between the first elastic member 6 and the second elastic member 7 is slightly reduced. More easily and surely bulges in a convex shape in the opposite direction to the skin side, and the visibility of changes occurring in the urine detection agent 8 is greatly improved.
On the other hand, when the urine detection agent 8 intersects with the first elastic member 6 and / or the second elastic member 7, the region where the urine detection agent 8 is disposed bites into the skin side of the wearer. Therefore, the visibility of changes that occur in the urine detection agent 8 is reduced.

In the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, it is preferable that the contraction force of the first elastic member 6 is larger than the contraction force of the second elastic member 7 at least in the crotch portion C. Thereby, the area | region where the 1st elastic member 6 was arrange | positioned is certainly located in a wearer's buttocks 12, and the part located outward from it is reliable even when a wearer moves. The state which contact | abutted to the surface inside the thigh can be maintained. As a result, high visibility of the urine detection agent 8 is achieved regardless of the wearer's activity.
On the other hand, when the contraction force of the first elastic member 6 is smaller than the contraction force of the second elastic member 7, the second elastic member 7 located on the inner surface of the thigh of the wearer. May move toward the buttocks and crush the region R <b> 1 where the urine detection agent 8 is disposed, thereby reducing the visibility of the urine detection agent 8.

(Extension stress measurement method)
After the diaper is in the unfolded state, the area where the first elastic member 6 and the area where the second elastic member 7 are arranged, which are located in the crotch part C, are cut out as samples. This sample was placed in contact with a horizontal surface, and the length between both ends in the longitudinal direction (= diaper longitudinal direction) of the sample in a naturally contracted state was measured, and 20 mm from the length. The value obtained by subtracting is the natural length. Specifically, the length of the line connecting the midpoint in the width direction at one end of the sample in the longitudinal direction and the midpoint in the width direction at the other end is measured, and the natural length is calculated by subtracting 20 mm from the value. To do.
Then, the sample is slackened and fixed between chucks of a Tensilon tensile tester [Orientec Co., Ltd., “RTC-1150”] The load at that time is zero. After that, the stress when the sample is stretched at a speed of 300 mm / min until the natural length becomes 1.5 times the natural length in the longitudinal direction of the sample (the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the diaper) is defined as an elongation stress. If the material breaks before it becomes 1.5 times the natural length, the elongation stress of the sample is zero.

Note that the region where the first elastic member 6 is disposed and the region where the second elastic member 7 is disposed are the outer edge portions of the elastic member disposed in the region in the diaper width direction. When the elastic member is arranged, the outermost edge portion of the elastic member located on the outermost side and the inner edge portion in the diaper width direction (when a plurality of elastic members are arranged, the innermost edge portion is located) A region obtained by adding a region up to a position 5 mm away from each side edge of the region to a region between the elastic member and the inner edge of the elastic member is used as a measurement sample.
The region in which the first elastic member 6 is disposed is between the sheet material (covering material 46 in the present embodiment) and the back sheet 3 disposed immediately below the top sheet 2 in the thickness direction of the diaper. Cut out the whole thing. However, if the first elastic member 6 is not joined to the absorbent core 4 or a member integrated with the core 4 in the region where the first elastic member 6 is disposed, the first elastic member 6 The absorbent core 4 not joined to the member 6 and the member integrated with the core 4 are removed to obtain a measurement sample.

From the viewpoint of ensuring the above-described effect of improving visibility, the width W (see FIG. 1) of the absorbent core 4 in the adult diaper is preferably 20 to 40 cm, and 30 -40 cm is more preferable. Further, from the same viewpoint, the distance W1 (see FIG. 2) between each side edge 41 of the absorbent core and the first elastic member 6 is 10 to 30%, especially 15 to 25% of the length W. It is preferable that The distance W1 in an adult diaper is preferably 2 to 12 cm, particularly 5 to 9 cm.

In the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, in the width direction of the crotch C, the separation distance W2 (see FIG. 2) between the urine detection agent 8 and the first elastic member 6 and the urine detection agent 8 and the second elasticity. The separation distance W3 (see FIG. 2) between the members 7 is 5 to 50 mm over the entire length of the crotch C.
By setting the distance W2 and the distance W3 to be 5 mm or more, it is possible to prevent irregular wrinkles from occurring in the region R1 where the urine detection agent is disposed, thereby reducing the visibility of the urine detection agent, and to 50 mm or less. Thus, when the diaper is worn, the space between the first elastic member 6 and the second elastic member 7 surely bulges in a direction opposite to the wearer's skin side, and the urine detection agent is visually recognized. Property can be further improved.

Moreover, in the diaper 1 of this embodiment, as shown in FIG.1 and FIG.2, the absorptive core 4 in the crotch part C is located in the center piece 43 located in the center part of a diaper width direction, and its both sides It is divided | segmented into the side piece 44,44, and the missing part 45 of the absorptive core is between the center piece 43 and each of the left and right side pieces 44,44. The first elastic member 6 described above is disposed at the position of each missing portion 45.

In the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, the missing portions 45 and 45 formed on both sides of the diaper respectively serve as a flexible shaft, and the absorbent core 4 has the missing portions 45 and 45 as shown in FIG. Therefore, the portion of the absorbent core 4 located in each of the side regions S and S is more surely present on both sides of the auxiliary absorbent device 13, and urine from both sides of the auxiliary absorbent device 13. When spilled out, the urine can be more reliably absorbed by the absorbent core 4 in each of the side regions S, S.
Furthermore, since urine easily diffuses in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core 4 through the missing portion 45, a wide range of urine detection agents 8 can be changed, and an appropriate replacement time for the diaper can be further facilitated. I can know for sure.

Further, in the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, the region R2 (see FIG. 2) between the first elastic members in the width direction of the crotch C is made of the same composition as the urine detection agent 8 described above and A central urine detection agent 9 coated in the same manner as the urine detection agent 8 is disposed. In addition, a highly water-absorbing polymer is disposed in the absorbent core 4 in the central region M, and the highly water-absorbing polymer is located outward from the position of the first elastic member 6 in each of the side regions S and S. Not arranged. More specifically, the said center piece 43 consists of fiber materials, such as a pulp fiber, and a super absorbent polymer, and the said side piece 44,44 consists only of fiber materials, such as a pulp fiber.

By arranging the central urine detecting agent 9, it is possible to easily know that the absorbent core 4 is wet even when the auxiliary absorbent device is not used together or when the liquid permeable auxiliary absorbent device is used on both the front and back surfaces. Can do. Moreover, when the absorptive core 4 consists only of fiber materials, such as a pulp fiber, even if a diaper is not wet, a urine detection agent may change with the vapor | steam of urine absorbed by the auxiliary | assistant absorber. By disposing the superabsorbent polymer in the absorbent core 4, it is possible to prevent changes in the urine detection agent due to steam.

From the same point of view, the superabsorbent polymer is also applied to the part of the absorbent core 4 that is located outward (outward in the width direction) from the position of the first elastic member 6 in each of the side regions S and S. However, the portion of the absorbent core 4 located in each of the side regions S and S is less likely to be discolored by water vapor than the portion located in the central region M. For this reason, the superabsorbent polymer is not disposed or disposed in a portion of the absorbent core 4 that is located outward from the position where the first elastic member 6 is disposed in each of the side regions S and S. It is preferable to arrange it to have a lower basis weight than the central region M from the viewpoint of achieving both economic efficiency and effects.

Further, in the case where the superabsorbent polymer is disposed in a portion of the side regions S, S that are located outward from the position where the first elastic member 6 is disposed, the width direction extends from both side edges 41 of the absorbent core 4. It is preferable not to arrange a superabsorbent polymer in a portion of 1 to 10 (more preferably 2 to 5) mm. Since urine clogged by the hydrophobic sheet material 5 is easily diffused in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core 4, it is possible to cause a change in a wide range of urine detection agents 8, making it easier to properly replace diapers. This is because it can be surely and reliably known.

In the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, the separation distance W4 (see FIG. 2) between the urine detection agent 8 and the central urine detection agent 9 disposed in the region R1 is 60 mm on each side of the diaper 1. The separation distance W5 (see FIG. 2) between the urine detection agent 8 and the side edge 41 of the absorbent core is also within 60 mm. Thereby, even if the position of the side edge of the auxiliary absorbent 13 is slightly shifted, the urine overflowing from the auxiliary absorbent 13 can be detected by the urine detecting agent 8 or the central urine detecting agent 9. In the present embodiment, a plurality of linear central urine detection agents 9 are arranged in the region R2 between the first elastic members 6 and 6 at intervals of 60 mm or less in the width direction. It is more difficult to be affected by the displacement of the absorber 13.

Explaining the forming material of each part of the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, as the forming material of the top sheet 2, the back sheet 3, the fastening tape 50, and the landing zone 51, various materials conventionally used for disposable diapers, respectively. Can be used without particular limitation. The absorbent core 4 can also be used without any particular restriction, which has been conventionally used in disposable diapers. For example, an aggregate of fiber materials such as pulp fiber, rayon, cellulose, polyethylene, and polypropylene, or these Those in which the superabsorbent polymer is held in whole or in part can be used.
It is preferable that the lowermost layer of the absorbent core 4 is formed of pulp fibers because it is excellent in liquid diffusibility and can cause a change in a wide range of urine detection agents 8. For example, the structure etc. with which the highly water-absorbing polymer is hold | maintained between the upper and lower pulp fiber layers are mentioned. In that case, it is possible to more easily and reliably know an appropriate replacement time of the diaper.

As the water-absorbing polymer, those conventionally used for absorbent cores in disposable diapers and the like can be used without particular limitation, but those that can absorb and retain water 20 times or more of their own weight are preferable. Mention may be made of polyacrylic acid and its salts and polyacrylate graft polymers such as crosslinked carboxylmethylated cellulose, polymers or copolymers of acrylic acid or alkali metal acrylates.

Examples of the material for forming the first and second elastic members 6 and 7 include natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and spandex, and examples of the form include a thread shape, a belt shape, and a film shape. . The first and second elastic members 6 and 7 are preferably thread rubber or flat rubber from the viewpoint of processability, cost, and the like. Moreover, as the hydrophobic sheet material 5, for example, various sheet materials conventionally used as a material for forming a back sheet can be used.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be appropriately changed without departing from the spirit of the present invention. For example, the absorbent core is divided into a central piece and a side piece at the crotch part C, and is divided into a central piece and a side piece at the dorsal side A and / or the ventral side B. It may not be. Moreover, the absorptive core may not be divided | segmented into the center piece and the side piece in the whole area of the longitudinal direction. Moreover, the absorptive core may be divided | segmented into plurality in the longitudinal direction in addition to the width direction. There may be a gap or no gap between the individual divided pieces of the absorbent core divided in the width direction and / or the longitudinal direction.

Further, the first elastic member 6 is a covering material on the topsheet 2 side between the absorbent core 4 and the covering material 42 covering the surface on the backsheet 3 side or in the missing portion 45 of the absorbent core 4. It may be arranged between 46 and the covering material 42 on the back sheet 3 side, further inside the absorbent core 4 and the like.
Moreover, the 1st elastic member 6 and the 2nd elastic member 7 may each be distribute | arranged for each one of the both sides of the diaper 1, or 2 each, and 4 or more may be distribute | arranged for each both sides. Also good. Preferably 1 to 4 are arranged.

Further, the covering material 46 that covers the surface of the absorbent core 4 on the surface sheet 2 side and the covering material 42 that covers the surface of the absorbent core 4 on the back surface sheet 3 side are a single continuous sheet material. It may be a separate sheet. As these covering materials 42, it is preferable to use tissue paper, liquid-permeable nonwoven fabric, or the like. In particular, tissue paper is more preferable because it has excellent liquid diffusibility and can cause a change in a wide range of urine detecting agents 8 and can easily and surely know an appropriate replacement time for diapers.
