Description
Claims (16)
- モータ及び駆動機構を有するモータ組立体(232、320、352)と共に使用される外科的切除器具(20、120、120、230、280、310、352)において、
基端部分及び末端部分を画成する細長い駆動部材(24、124、234)と、
前記駆動部材の末端部分(62、162)に固定された切除先端(26,126、236、312、353)と、
モータ組立体の駆動機構と選択的に接続し得るようにされた非導電性の継手本体(28、128、238)であって、前記駆動部材の基端部分(60、160)に固定された継手本体と、
前記継手本体及び前記駆動部材の基端部分(60、160)を維持するハウジング(30、130、240、282)であって、前記継手本体及び前記駆動部材が一緒にハウジングに対して回転可能であるハウジングと、
少なくとも前記駆動部材により確立された電気経路を介して切除先端と電気的に連通する電気コネクタ(32、132、244、314)であって、エネルギ源と電気的に接続し得るようにされた電気コネクタと、を備え、
前記継手本体(28、128、238)が第1の外径を画成する末端部分(80、180)及び前記第1の外径より小さい第2の外径を画成する柄状部(92)を形成する基端部分(82、182)を画成し、
前記継手本体の末端部分(80、180)が末端(86)から伸長する細長い通路(84)を形成し、該末端(86)内に前記細長い駆動部材(24、124)の基端部分(60、160)が固定される、外科的切除器具。 - 請求項1に記載の切除器具において、非導電性の継手本体(28、128、238)は、重合系材料にて形成される、切除器具。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の切除器具において、ハウジング(30、130、240、282)は、電気コネクタ(32、132、244、314)の一部分を維持する、切除器具。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の切除器具において、ハウジング(30、130、240、282)は、非導電性材料にて形成される、切除器具。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の切除器具において、少なくとも20,000RPMの回転速度で駆動部材(24、124、234)が回転する間、電気コネクタを通って流れるエネルギが切除先端(26,126、236、312、353)に連続的に送り出されるような形態とされる、切除器具。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の切除器具において、ハウジング(130)は、ハウジングと細長い駆動部材との間に配設された軸受組立体(134)を維持し、更に、電気コネクタ(132)から前記切除先端までの電気経路が細長い駆動部材(124)及び軸受組立体を含むように電気コネクタが軸受組立体に連結される、切除器具。
- 請求項6に記載の切除器具において、軸受組立体(134)は、内側レースと、外側レースと、玉軸受と、導電性グリースとを含む、切除器具。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の切除器具において、
ハウジングにより維持される外側管(22)を更に備え、該外側管は、基端で終わる基端領域と、末端で終わる末端領域と、基端から末端まで伸びる管腔(48)とを画成し、
前記細長い駆動部材は、外側管の管腔内に配設され、電気経路は、外側管の内面(50)と細長い駆動部材との間の境界面を含む、切除器具。 - 請求項8に記載の切除器具において、前記境界面は、外側管と駆動部材との間においてジャーナル軸受により少なくとも部分的に画成され、電気経路はジャーナル軸受を含む、切除器具。
- 請求項8に記載の切除器具において、ハウジングの末端側の外側管(22)の外面は、非導電性材料により少なくとも部分的に被覆される、切除器具。
- 請求項8に記載の切除器具において、外側管(22)はハウジングの末端側の湾曲したセグメントを画成する、切除器具。
- 請求項8に記載の切除器具において、切除先端はバー(70、170)である、切除器具。
- 請求項1乃至12のいずれか1項に記載の切除器具において、駆動部材は真直ぐである、切除器具。
- 請求項1乃至13のいずれか1項に記載の切除器具において、
継手本体及びハウジングは、切除器具をモータ組立体に取り付けたとき、切除先端をモータ組立体から電気的に隔離する形態とされる、切除器具。 - 請求項1乃至14のいずれか1項に記載の外科的切除器具を備える外科的切除システム(300、350)において、
刺激エネルギを電気コネクタ及び電気経路を介して切除先端に印加し得るように電気コネクタに選択的に連結されるエネルギ源を有する誘発電位のモニターシステム(330)を備える外科的切除システム。 - 請求項15に記載の外科的切除システムにおいて、前記誘発電位のモニターシステムが、切除先端が外科的切除手順の間、神経に近接するときを表示し得るようにされた、外科的切除システム。
