Description
The present invention relates to a printing machine for performing offset printing using a blanket on a bottomed cylindrical target article that is cantilevered, and a blanket used in the printing machine.
In the manufacturing process of a seamless can (two-piece can) in which the can body and the bottom are integrally formed, printing is performed on the can body after the can is formed. This printing is performed using a curved surface printer as shown in part in FIG. In this curved surface printing machine, a
On the other hand, an inking unit (not shown) is arranged for each of a plurality of colors around a
Printing on the
However, in the printing in the toe-in state, since the
Therefore, the present invention prevents the target article supported in a cantilever manner from strongly colliding with the blanket while maintaining the toe-in state, and realizes prevention of damage and contamination of the blanket and prevention of contamination of the target article. Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a printing machine capable of extending the life of the blanket and performing high-quality printing on the target article, and a blanket used in the printing machine.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the printing machine of the present invention moves the blanket while pressing the blanket against the bottomed cylindrical target article so that the ink on the upper surface of the blanket is the target article. The bottom of the target article is disposed closer to the top surface of the blanket than the front end opening, and the front end surface on the downstream side in the movement direction of the blanket is the printing machine for transferring onto the outer peripheral surface of the target article. It is characterized in that the portion corresponding to the tip opening is located on the downstream side in the movement direction of the blanket than the portion corresponding to the bottom.
In the printing machine of the present invention, the front end surface of the blanket is formed by cutting out at least a portion corresponding to the bottom of the target article along the thickness direction of the blanket, whereby the front end surface of the blanket is formed at the bottom of the target article. It is preferable that the portion corresponding to the tip opening is positioned on the downstream side in the direction of movement of the blanket than the portion corresponding to.
In the printing machine of the present invention, the front end surface of the blanket is formed by cutting away at least a portion corresponding to the bottom of the target article along a direction inclined by a predetermined angle with respect to the thickness direction of the blanket. The front end surface may be configured such that the portion corresponding to the front end opening is positioned downstream of the planquet moving direction, rather than the portion corresponding to the bottom of the target article.
In the printing press of the present invention, the leading end surface of the blanket may be formed by cutting from the upper surface to the lower surface of the blanket.
In the printing press according to the present invention, the blanket is disposed so that the front end surface is inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the moving direction, whereby the front end surface corresponds to the front end opening rather than the portion corresponding to the bottom of the target article. It is preferable that the portion to be positioned is located on the downstream side in the movement direction of the blanket.
In the printing press of the present invention, on the front end surface of the blanket, depending on the distance relationship between the bottom and front end opening of the target article and the upper surface of the blanket, the portion corresponding to the bottom of the target article, and the front end opening It is possible to set the positional relationship in the movement direction with the corresponding part.
In the printing press of the present invention, the blanket is disposed on the outer periphery of a blanket wheel that rotates about an axis, and a plurality of inking units that respectively supply different color inks on the blanket around the blanket wheel. The arrangement can be taken.
In the printing machine of the present invention, the blanket preferably has an adhesive layer on the back surface, and is preferably adhered to the blanket wheel via this adhesive layer.
In the printing machine of the present invention, a can, particularly a two-piece can, can be used as a target article.
The printing machine of the present invention may be a printing machine that performs planographic printing.
The blanket used in the printing machine of the present invention preferably includes three layers, that is, a surface print layer, an intermediate reinforcing layer, and a re-peelable adhesive layer.
The printing machine of the present invention is a printing machine that transfers ink on the upper surface of a blanket onto the target article by moving the blanket while pressing it against a bottomed cylindrical target article that is cantilevered. The bottom of the target article is disposed at a position closer to the top surface of the blanket than the front end opening, and the front end surface of the blanket in the moving direction downstream side has the front end opening of the target article before the bottom. It is characterized by being configured to contact the blanket.
According to the present invention, the front end surface on the downstream side in the movement direction of the blanket is such that the portion corresponding to the front end opening is on the downstream side in the movement direction of the blanket rather than the portion corresponding to the bottom of the article to be printed. With this arrangement, even when printing is performed in the toe-in state, it is possible to prevent the bottom portion of the target article and the blanket from strongly colliding with each other. Therefore, the blanket can be prevented from being damaged or scraped from the blanket, so that the blanket and the target article can be prevented from being contaminated. As a result, high-quality printing can be realized, and moreover than in the past. The lifetime of the blanket can be extended.
Hereinafter, a
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The
The
The
The
The
An
The ink held on the
As shown in FIG. 2, the
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the
By forming the
In addition, as shown in FIG. 3, when the
The
Further, the
Moreover, it can replace with the
As described above, when the
With the configuration as described above, the following effects (1) to (3) are achieved according to the above embodiment.
(1) High-definition images can be printed on the
(2) Even when waterless lithographic printing with a large printing pressure is performed in a toe-in state, it is possible to prevent the bottom 31 of the
(3) Further, since the collision between the bottom 31 and the
