Claims (3)

車体の前後方向に延在しかつ車体前端部に至るフロントサイドフレームと、前記前端部に配置されたフロントバルクヘッドとを有する車体前部構造であって、
前記フロントバルクヘッドが前記車体の上下方向に延在する中空断面形状のサイド部材を有し、
前記サイド部材の中間部分が、前記サイド部材の車体後側壁部が車体前側に潰されて前記サイド部材の車体前側壁部に当接するように形成され、
前記サイド部材の前記車体後側壁部の前記車体前側壁部に当接した部分に前記フロントサイドフレームの車体前側端部が結合されていると共に、
前記フロントサイドフレームが矩形閉断面形状に形成され、
前記サイド部材の前記中空断面形状が、車体後方に開口するコ字状断面部材と前記コ字状断面部材の前記開口を閉塞する蓋状部材とにより形成されていると共に、前記車体前側壁部が前記コ字状断面部材の底壁部分からなり、前記車体後側壁部が前記蓋状部材からなり、
前記フロントサイドフレームと前記サイド部材とが、前記コ字状断面部材に嵌り込んで受容されるコ字状断面形状の連結ブラケットを介して結合され、
前記連結ブラケットの前記コ字状断面形状における両側壁部が前記フロントサイドフレームの車幅方向両側面に溶接され、かつ前記連結ブラケットの前記コ字状断面形状における三方の壁部と前記サイド部材の前記コ字状断面部材における三方の壁部とが溶接されていることを特徴とする車体前部構造。
