Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for improving the thermal responsiveness of a temperature sensor suitable for a temperature sensor, particularly an automotive evaporator.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A temperature sensor used for temperature detection of an evaporator (cooler) of an auto air conditioner is required to have a quick response, unlike a temperature sensor used for temperature detection of a home air conditioner, for example. The reason is that when the thermal response of the temperature sensor is slow, evaporator frost (frost clogging) occurs.
[0003]
For this reason, the power cut-off temperature is set at a temperature as close as possible to 0 ° C. (for example, 3 ° C.) before the outside air becomes 0 ° C. or lower and the moisture in the air freezes. It is necessary to stop the operation of the compressor by controlling the power supply.
[0004]
However, the current thermistor used in an evaporator temperature sensor has a thermal time constant of 6.3 sec in water and is not necessarily excellent in thermal response. In order to completely eliminate the occurrence of the evaporator frost by improving the thermal time constant of the temperature sensor, it is desired to improve it to less than half the thermal time constant (6.3 seconds) of the current thermistor.
[0005]
Attempts to improve the thermal time constant of the thermistor can be found in

An object of the present invention is to provide a temperature sensor with improved thermal responsiveness in a state where an externally drawn coated wire covered with a tube is used, in particular, a thermal responsiveness improving method and a temperature sensor suitable for an evaporator. [Means for Solving the Problems]
In the method for improving the thermal response of the temperature sensor for an evaporator according to the present invention, the relationship between the resin coat of the thermistor element and the external lead-out coated wire of the thermistor element, the size of the thermistor element, the length of the connecting lead wire, the wire diameter Select the material, cover the outer lead wire with a PVC tube, and then move the thermal time constant from 25 ° C water to 50 ° C stirring water with the end of the PVC tube pressed against the resin coat. This is a method for improving the thermal responsiveness of a temperature sensor for an automotive evaporator that realizes approximately 3.00 sec or less assuming that the temperature of the thermistor element reaches 40.8 ° C. Then, the thermal conductivity tends to increase slightly. As far as this tendency is seen, it can be said that the Ni / Cu alloy wire of Ni45 and Cu55 is optimal.

From this fact, it can be seen that reducing the size of the thermistor element and the shape of the resin coat and further reducing the influence of heat from the external connection circuit side are effective in improving the thermal time constant. However, it goes without saying that the selection of the material of the connecting lead is the most important factor.

【Effect of the invention】
As described above, according to the present invention, a Cu-Ni alloy wire having a wire diameter of 0.1 to 1.0 mm and a Ni content of 15 to 70% by weight is used as a connection lead wire from the external connection circuit side. By reducing the thermal effect, reducing the element size of the thermistor element and the tip diameter of the resin coat, and reducing the heat capacity of the heat sensing portion, the thermal response of the thermistor can be greatly improved.
[0049]
In particular, according to the present invention, the connection lead wire attached to the electrode of the thermistor element is connected to the external lead wire that leads to the power circuit, and the thermistor element, the connection lead wire, and the external lead wire are connected. In the state where the resin coat covering a part covers the resin coat with the tube covering the external lead coated wire, the thermal time constant can be suppressed to 3 sec or less, and therefore the evaporator frost (frost jam) ) Can be used as a temperature sensor for an evaporator of an automatic air conditioner, which has a problem, and the controllability of compressor operation can be improved.
