Description
(1)本実施形態の風速レーダー1は、誘電体を用いて比誘電率が半径方向に所定の割合で変化するように形成された球形状の電波レンズ2と、当該電波レンズ2を支持する支持部材7を備えている。そして、電波レンズ2が載置される支持部材7の表面7aが、電波レンズ2の形状に合わせた球面形状を有している。従って、支持部材7の表面7aにおいて、電波レンズ2の荷重を均等に分散させることが可能になるため、重量の大きいルーネベルグレンズを使用する場合であっても、当該ルーネベルグレンズの変形、または破損を効果的に防止することができる。その結果、電波レンズ2を備える風速レーダー1において、電波レンズ2を適切に支持することが可能になる。
上記実施形態においては、複数の方位角方向に送受信される電波の焦点位置に対応して、複数の一次放射器3Z、3N、3S、3E、および3Wを配設する構成としたが、複数の方位角方向に送受信される電波の焦点位置に対応するように、1個の一次放射器3を移動自在に配設する構成としてもよい。より具体的には、図4、図5に示すように、風速レーダー50において、支持レール5、6を、互いに直交して設けるとともに、例えば、支持レール5を南北方向に、支持レール6を東西方向に向けて設置する。そして、1個の一次放射器3を、支持レール5、6上を、図中の矢印の方向に移動自在に設けて、天頂方向、及び北、南、東、西の各方位に対し、所定の天頂角θをなす方位角方向に送受信される電波の焦点位置に停止させ、各停止位置で、風速、風向のデータを測定する。なお、風速、風向のデータの測定方法は、上述の実施形態と同様である。このような構成により、1個の一次放射器3により、風速、風向のデータを測定することができるため、コストアップを抑制することができる。
Claims (5)
- 誘電体を用いて比誘電率が半径方向に所定の割合で変化するように形成された球形状の送受信用の電波レンズと、
前記電波レンズの外周に沿って、観測すべき複数の方位角方向に前記電波レンズを介して送受信される電波の焦点位置に配設される送受信用の一次放射器と、
前記電波レンズを支持する支持部材と、を備え、
前記電波レンズが載置される前記支持部材の表面が、前記電波レンズの形状に合わせた球面形状を有し、
前記支持部材には、前記一次放射器を収納するための収納部が形成されている
ことを特徴とする風速レーダー。 - 前記支持部材が、繊維強化プラスチック材により形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の風速レーダー。
- 前記繊維強化プラスチック材の繊維強化材が、ガラス繊維、ポリエチレン繊維、およびポリテトラフルオロエチレン繊維からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の風速レーダー。
- 前記支持部材が、ポリオレフィン系樹脂、ポリスチレン系樹脂、およびフッ素系樹脂からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種により形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の風速レーダー。
- 前記支持部材が、発泡倍率が40以上である樹脂発泡体により形成されていることを特
徴とする請求項4に記載の風速レーダー。
