Description
イットリア、非安定化ジルコニア、及び他の酸化物によって安定化されたジルコニアのような他のセラミック材料を使用することもできる。TBC26用の注目すべき別の材料は、7%YSZよりもより低い熱伝導率(低−k)を有するように調製された材料を含み、その注目すべき実例は、同一出願人によるRigney他の米国特許第6,586,115号、Bruce他の米国特許第6,686,060号、Darolia他の米国特許第6,808,799号、Bruce他の米国特許第6,890,668号、同一出願人によるBruceの米国特許出願第10/063962号及びRickerbyの米国特許第6,025,078号に開示されている。TBC26用のさらに他の好適なセラミック材料には、CMAS(カルシア、マグネシア、アルミナ及びシリカの共晶合金)のような化合物による汚染からの剥離に耐性を有するセラミック材料が含まれる。例えば、TBCは、溶融CMASと相互作用してCMASよりも著しく高い融点を有する化合物を形成することができる材料で形成して、CMASとその材料との反応生成物が溶解せずかつTBCに浸透することがないようにすることができる。CMAS耐性皮膜の実例には、同一出願人による米国特許第5,660,885号、第5,683,825号、第5,871,820号、第5,914,189号、第6,627,323号及び第6,890,668号、並びに同一出願人による米国特許出願第10/073564号に開示されているアルミナ、アルミナ含有YSZ及びハフニア系セラミックスが含まれ、それら特許のCMAS耐性皮膜材料に関する開示内容は、引用文献として本明細書に組み入れる。TBC26用の他の可能性があるセラミック材料には、7%YSZよりも優れた耐食性及び/又は耐衝撃性を有するように調製されたセラミック材料が含まれる。そのような材料の実例には、上述のCMAS耐性材料の一部、具体的には、米国特許第5,683,825号及び米国特許出願第10/073564号に報告されているようなアルミナが含まれる。他の耐食性及び耐衝撃性組成物には、同一出願人による米国特許出願第10/707197号及び第10/708020号に開示されているような低ポロシティYSZ、同一出願人による米国特許出願第10/708020号に開示さているような完全安定化ジルコニア(例えば、17%YSZ以上)、並びに化学的改質ジルコニア系セラミックスが含まれる。TBC26は、下にある基体22及びブレード10に対して必要な断熱保護を与えるのに十分な厚さまで、一般的には約100〜約300マイクロメートルのオーダーで堆積される。

Claims (8)
- 基体(22)上の皮膜システム(20)であって、
ガンマプライム−Ni3Al金属間化合物相とベータ−NiAl金属間化合物相又はガンマ−Ni相のいずれかとから本質的に構成された皮膜(24)を含み、
前記皮膜(24)が、ガンマプライム−Ni 3 Al金属間化合物相とベータ−NiAl金属間化合物相とから本質的に構成されるように、ガンマ−Ni相を実質的に含まず、前記皮膜(24)が、26〜30原子%の平均アルミニウム含有量と少なくとも1〜10未満の原子%の平均白金族金属含有量とを有し、
前記皮膜(24)の残部が、ニッケルと、クロム、シリコン、タンタル及びコバルトの1つ又はそれ以上と、随意的にハフニウム、イットリウム、ジルコニウム、ランタン及びセリウムの1つ又はそれ以上と、随伴不純物とである
ことを特徴とする、皮膜システム(20)。 - 前記皮膜(24)が、該皮膜(24)内の平均白金族金属含有量よりも少ない白金族金属含有量を持つ外部表面領域を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の皮膜システム(20)。
- 前記皮膜(24)が、該皮膜(24)内の平均アルミニウム含有量よりも少ないアルミニウム含有量を持つ最内部領域を有することを特徴とする、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の皮膜システム(20)。
- 前記皮膜(24)が、0.01〜2原子%のハフニウムを含有することを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項記載の皮膜システム(20)。
- 前記皮膜(24)が、0.5〜20原子%のクロムを含有することを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項記載の皮膜システム(20)。
- 前記皮膜(24)が、0.1〜5原子%の量のシリコンを含有することを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項記載の皮膜システム(20)。
- 前記基体(22)が、ガスタービンエンジン構成部品(10)の翼形部領域(12)であり、前記皮膜システム(20)が、前記皮膜(24)に付着させた断熱セラミック層(26)をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項記載の皮膜システム(20)。
- 前記皮膜(24)が、オーバレイ皮膜(24)であることを特徴とする、請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項記載の皮膜システム(20)。
