Further, as will be described later (see the link button 54), the players can exchange “Umatama” with each other. Therefore, the players can receive “Umatama” by receiving “Umatama” from other players. Can also be obtained.
The method for obtaining “Umatama” is not limited to the above method. In the horse racing game, points are awarded to the player when the player sees a friend's ranch. In the horse racing game, as will be described later (see step S101 in FIG. 8), support from a friend is accepted when the player's horse runs in a race. When the player's horse wins the race, the player is given points according to the number of friends who have supported him. In the horse racing game, “Umatama” is given to the player based on the above points.
In the “Utamama”

As described above, when any of the horses displayed in the “horse”
As shown in FIG. 6, an “information”
On the
The
The
A horse's ability changes according to its growth pattern. There are multiple types of growth patterns available for horse racing games. For example, there is a growth pattern in which the degree of increase in ability at a young age is very large, but the ability does not increase as the child gets older. In addition, for example, there is a growth pattern in which the degree of increase in ability at a young age is not large, but the ability increases even at an older age. For example, if a horse with the former growth pattern is young, the performance of the horse is greatly increased by performing the training. However, if the horse is old, Your ability will not improve.
When horse training is performed, the horse's health parameters are updated so that the horse's health is reduced. When a horse's spirit is lower than the standard (that is, when the horse is tired), the horse cannot be trained. Naturally, the horse can no longer run in the race. Note that the spirit of the horse recovers with the passage of time (real time or in-game time).
The player can also improve the horse's ability by attaching the above-mentioned “Umatama” game item to the horse. When one “Umatama” is newly added to the horse, for example, the value of the stamina parameter and the speed parameter of the horse are increased by 1%, respectively. Multiple horses can be attached to a horse, and the more horses attached to a horse, the higher the horse's ability. However, the “Utamama” attached to the horse cannot be removed from the horse until the horse retires. In other words, if “Umatama” is attached to a horse, the “Umatama” cannot be attached to another horse until the horse retires.
The
The
The
When the
FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing an example of processing executed by the
For example, the
FIG. 9 shows an example of the
When the
The
As shown in FIG. 8, after the notification to the friend of the player and the reception of the support from the friend are started, the
When the result of the race is determined, data indicating the result of the race (hereinafter referred to as “race data”) is stored in a storage device (for example, the database 14). The race data may be animation data representing the content of the race, or text data simply indicating only the rank of each horse. Note that the completion of the race is notified to the player using, for example, the “notification column” 41 of the
The
The
The retired horse disappears from the “horse”
As described above, in the horse racing game described above, the player can improve the horse's ability by attaching “Umatama” to the horse. However, once “Umatama” is attached to a horse, it cannot be removed from the horse until it retires. For this reason, the player needs to carefully decide to which horse “Umatama” should be attached. In other words, in the horse racing game described above, the player is given the pleasure of deciding which horse is to be assigned “Umatama”.
In the above horse racing game, “Umatama” attached to a horse is restricted from being attached to other horses until the horse retires, and the “uma” attached to the horse only when the horse retires. "Tama" can be attached to other horses. When a horse retires in this way, the “Umatama” attached to the horse can be reused, thereby making it easier for the player to have a desire to grow another horse. That is, by doing as described above, it is possible to prevent the player from stopping playing the horse racing game as a result of the retirement of the horse raised by the player.

On the other hand, functional blocks other than the game
Below, the case where the game
First, the game
FIG. 11 shows an example of the player table. Information relating to the player is stored in the player table. Each record in the player table corresponds to one player. Each record includes "ID", "Name", "Friend", "Umatama", "Point", and "Shard" fields. Note that other fields (eg, “password” field) may be included in the player table.
The “ID” field indicates identification information for uniquely identifying the player, and the “name” field indicates the name of the player. In the “friend” field, information (for example, ID) indicating another player who has a friendship with the player is stored.
The “Umatama” field indicates information related to “Umatama” owned by the player. The “Umatama” field includes “Total”, “In Use”, and “Unused” fields. The “total number” field indicates the total number of “Umatama” owned by the player. The “in use” field indicates the number of “Umatama” in use, that is, the number of “Umatama” already attached to the horse. The “unused” field indicates the number of unused “bears”, that is, the number of “bears” not attached to the horse.
The “points” field indicates the total number of points acquired by the player. As described above, since a point is given to a player who has seen the ranch of another player, the value of the “point” field is increased when the player views the ranch of another player. As described above, when the player's horse wins the race, the player's horse is given points according to the number of friends who have cheered the player's horse. If the player wins the race, the value of the “point” field is increased according to the number of friends who have cheered the player's horse.
The “fragment” field indicates the number of “umama” fragments acquired by the player. In the horse racing game described above, every time a point earned by the player reaches a predetermined value (for example, 100), a piece of “Utamama” is given to the player. That is, when the value of the “point” field becomes a predetermined value, the value of the “fragment” field is incremented by 1, and the value of the “point” field is reset to an initial value (for example, 0). ing.
Note that a predetermined number (for example, 100) of pieces corresponds to one “Utamama”. For this reason, every time the value of the “fragment” field reaches a predetermined value (for example, 100), one “Umatama” is newly given to the user. That is, when the value of the “fragment” field reaches a predetermined value, the values of the “total” field and the “unused” field are each increased by 1, and the value of the “fragment” field is set to an initial value (eg, 0). It is supposed to be reset.
FIG. 12 shows an example of a horse table. The horse table stores information about horses owned by each player. Each record in the horse table corresponds to one horse. Each record includes an “ID” field, an “owner” field, a “name” field, an “age group” field, a “war record” field, a “parameter” field, a “Utamama” field, and a “training number” field.
The “ID” field indicates identification information for uniquely identifying a horse. The “owner” field indicates information (for example, ID) of the player who owns the horse. The “name” field indicates the name of the horse, and the “age” field indicates the age of the horse. The “war result” field indicates the horse's war record.
The “parameter” field indicates the value of the parameter relating to the horse. The “Parameter” field includes “Energy”, “Stamina”, and “Speed” fields. The “Energy”, “Stamina”, and “Speed” fields indicate the values of the energy parameter, the stamina parameter, and the speed parameter, respectively. A field indicating the value of another parameter may be included in the “parameter” field.
The values of the “Energy”, “Stamina” and “Speed” fields are updated each time horse training is performed. Specifically, when the
The “Umatama” field indicates the number of “Umatama” attached to the horse. The value of the “Umatama” field is updated when the
The “training frequency” field indicates the number of times the horse has been trained. As described above, the value of the “training number” field is updated when the
FIG. 13 shows an example of a competitor candidate table. The competitor candidate table stores information on horses that can be competitors of the player's horse. For example, a horse created in advance by the game creator is registered in the competitor candidate table as a competitor candidate. Further, for example, horses that have been bred in the past by each player and have already retired may be registered in the competitor candidate table as competitor candidates.
The competitor candidate table includes “ID”, “name”, “age”, “parameter”, and “runnable race” fields. The “ID”, “name”, “age”, and “parameter” fields are the same as in the horse table (see FIG. 12). The “Racing Race” field indicates in which rank the horse can run.
The
In the case of the above horse racing game, “Utamama” corresponds to “Game Item”. A horse corresponds to a “game character”. Furthermore, attaching “Umatama” to a horse corresponds to “Associating a game item with a game character”.
In the case of this embodiment, the
The
In the case of the horse racing game described above, the retirement of the horse corresponds to “the game character cannot be used by the player in the game”. In other words, when “Umatama” is attached to a horse, the
FIG. 14 is a diagram for explaining the operation of the
When the
As shown in FIG. 14, first, the
In addition, the
Furthermore, the
The
In this embodiment, the
FIG. 15 is a diagram for explaining the operations of the
As shown in FIG. 15, the
ST=STo+STo*K*N ・・・ (1)
SP=SPo+SPo*K*N ・・・ (2)
After the processing of step S301 is executed, the
ST = STo + STo * K * N (1)
SP = SPo + SPo * K * N (2)
In Equation (1), “STo” indicates the value (basic value) of the stamina parameter read in step S301, and “ST” indicates the value of the stamina parameter after change. Similarly, in Expression (2), “SPo” indicates the value (basic value) of the speed parameter read in step S301, and “SP” indicates the speed parameter value after the change. . In the expressions (1) and (2), “N” indicates the number of “Umama” read in step S301. Further, “K” is a predetermined coefficient that satisfies 0 <K <1. For example, the value of “K” is set to 0.01.
For example, when the value of the stamina parameter acquired in step S301 is “40” and the number of “Umatama” acquired in step S301 is “5”, the stamina of the horse of the player who starts the race The parameter value is set to “42”. The speed parameter is set in the same manner.
After the process of step S302 is executed, the
After the process of step S303 is executed, the
When the process of step S304 is executed, the
As described above, the race data is transmitted from the

In the case of the horse racing game described above, the case where the horse retires corresponds to “when the player can no longer use the game character in the game”. Also, removing “Umatama” attached to the horse corresponds to “releasing the game item associated with the game character”. Furthermore, the fact that “Umatama” can be attached to another horse corresponds to “removing the restriction by the
FIG. 16 is a diagram for explaining the operation of the
The process shown in FIG. 16 is executed when the player's horse retires. For example, the process shown in FIG. 16 is executed when the age of the horse reaches a predetermined age (for example, 9 years old). Alternatively, the process shown in FIG. 16 is also executed when the
As shown in FIG. 16, the

In the
Furthermore, in the
The present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above.
(1) In the embodiment described above, the effect of the game item (that is, the degree of change given to the ability information of the game character when the game item is associated with the game character) is not different for each game item, It was constant. That is, in each “Umatama”, the value of the horse's ability parameter is increased by a certain percentage (for example, 1%) (see the above formulas (1) and (2)). In other words, the degree of increase in the ability parameter was not different for each “Umatama” and was constant.
However, the effect of the game item may be different for each game item. In other words, the degree of increase in the ability parameter may be different for each “Umatama”. Hereinafter, this embodiment will be described.
In the case of the present embodiment, the game
In the case of this embodiment, for example, data as shown in FIG. 17 is stored in the game
The “owner” field indicates identification information (ID) of the player who owns “Utamama”, and the “ID” field indicates identification information for uniquely identifying “Utamama”.
The “effect” field indicates the effect that “Umatama” has. That is, the “Effect” field indicates how the value of the horse's ability parameter changes when “Umatama” is attached to the horse. In other words, the “effect” field indicates the degree of increase in the horse ability parameter.
The “effect” field includes a “stamina” and a “speed” field. The “stamina” field indicates the increase in the stamina parameter, and the “speed” field indicates the increase in the speed parameter. In FIG. 17, for example, “+1 percent” indicates that the value of the stamina parameter (or speed parameter) increases by 1 percent.
The “use state” field indicates the use state of “Utamama”. For example, when “Umatama” is in use, that is, when “Umatama” is attached to a horse, the identification information (ID) of the horse is stored in the “Usage Status” field. On the other hand, for example, when “Umatama” is unused, that is, when “Umatama” is not attached to the horse, the “Usage State” field is set to blank.
In the case of the present embodiment, the
Further, in the present embodiment, the processing described below is executed in steps S201 to S203 of the processing (FIG. 14) executed when “Umatama” to be added to the horse is selected on the
ST=STo+STo*(Kt1+・・・+Ktn) ・・・ (3)
SP=SPo+SPo*(Kp1+・・・+Kpn) ・・・ (4)
Further, in the present embodiment, the processing described below is executed in steps S301 and S302 of the race processing (FIG. 15) executed when the player's horse starts to race. That is, in step S301, the
ST = STo + STo * (Kt1 +... + Ktn) (3)
SP = SPo + SPo * (Kp1 +... + Kpn) (4)
In Expressions (3) and (4), “ST”, “STo”, “SP”, and “SPo” are the same as Expressions (1) and (2) described above. Further, “Kt1 +... + Ktn” in the expression (3) indicates the total increase in the stamina parameter of “Umatama” attached to the horse. Similarly, “Kp1 +... + Kpn” in Expression (4) indicates the total increase in the speed parameter of “Umatama” attached to the horse.
Here, the horse ID of the player running in the race is “H1”, and the “Utamama” attached to this horse is only “Umatama” whose IDs are “U1” and “U2”. Assuming that In this case, the value of the stamina parameter of the horse of the player running in the race is set to 42 (= 40 + 40 * (0.03 + 0.02), and the value of the speed parameter is 41.2 (= 40 + 40 * (0. 02 + 0.01)).
In the present embodiment, the process described below is executed in step S404 of the process executed when the player's horse retires (FIG. 16). That is, in step S404, the
According to the present embodiment, it is possible to vary the effect of “Umatama” for each “Umatama”. If the effect of “Umatama” varies for each “Umatama”, the player needs to decide more carefully which “Umatama” is to be attached to the horse. In other words, it is possible to improve the pleasure of determining which “Umatama” is attached to the horse.
(2) When the game character retires from the competition (that is, when the player cannot use the game character in the game), the effect of the game item released from the game character may be changed. For example, you may make it change the effect of "Umatama" removed from a horse when a horse retires in said horse racing game. Hereinafter, this embodiment will be described.
FIG. 18 shows an example of functional blocks realized by the
(2-1) For example, when the game item associated with the game character is canceled, the
In the case of the above-described horse racing game, as described above, the “ability change information” is information indicating whether or not to change the value of the horse's ability parameter, and how to change the value of the horse's ability parameter. Contains information to indicate. Specifically, information indicated by the “effect” field of the table of tents (that is, the degree of increase in the ability parameter) corresponds to “ability change information”. In addition, the horse's battle record corresponds to “the result obtained by the game character in the game”.
In this aspect, for example, data as shown in FIG. 19 is stored in the game
The
Here, for example, a case is assumed in which the “result D” shown in FIG. 19 satisfies the “condition D” shown in FIG. 19 and the “Utamama” ID “U1” is removed from the retired horse. In this case, the degree of increase in the stamina parameter due to “Umatama” whose ID is “U1” is updated from “+3 percent” to “+4 percent”. Further, the degree of increase in the stamina parameter due to “Umatama” whose ID is “U1” is updated from “+2 percent” to “+3 percent”. Such a process is executed in the process shown in FIG.
According to this aspect, it is possible to give the player the pleasure that the effect of “Umatama” removed from the retreating horse changes based on the performance of the horse. Also, by enhancing the effect of “Utamama” removed from the retired horse based on the horse's performance, we want to reuse the “Utamama” removed from the retired horse and train it to other horses. Thus, it becomes possible to guide the player. As a result, it is possible to prevent the player from stopping playing the horse racing game as a result of the retirement of the horse raised by the player.
(2-2) Further, for example, when the game item associated with the game character is released, the
In the case of the horse racing game, the timing at which the horse retires corresponds to “timing at which the player cannot use the game character in the game”.
In this aspect, for example, data as shown in FIG. 20 is stored in the game
In the data shown in FIG. 20, for example, when a horse is retired when the growth of the horse is at a peak, if the horse is retired before the growth of the horse reaches a peak, or the growth of the horse is too high. The relationship between the retirement timing condition and the effect change information is set so that the “Umatama” effect is higher than when the horse retires after the retirement.
Note that “Condition B” shown in FIG. 20 corresponds to a condition that is satisfied when the horse retires when the growth of the horse is at its peak. “Condition A” corresponds to a condition that is satisfied when a horse retires before the horse's growth reaches its peak, and “Condition C” corresponds to a condition after the horse's growth has exceeded its peak. This corresponds to a condition that is satisfied when a horse retires.

Here, for example, a case is assumed where the retirement timing of a retired horse satisfies “condition B” shown in FIG. 20 and “Umatama” whose ID is “U1” is removed from the retired horse.
According to this aspect, it is possible to give the player a pleasure that the effect of “Umatama” removed from the retreating horse changes based on the retirement timing of the horse. In addition, by enhancing the effect of “Umatama” removed from the retired horse based on the retirement timing of that horse, the “Umatama” removed from the retired horse can be reused to nurture other horses. It becomes possible to guide the player so that he / she wants. As a result, it is possible to prevent the player from stopping playing the horse racing game as a result of the retirement of the horse raised by the player.
(2-3) Further, for example, when the game item associated with the game character is released, the
In the case of the above-described horse racing game, the value of the horse's ability parameter at the time of retirement corresponds to “game character ability information at a timing when the player can no longer use the game character in the game”.
In this aspect, for example, data as shown in FIG. 21 is stored in the game
When the horse retires (i.e., when the “bearing” attached to the horse is removed), the
Here, for example, it is assumed that the value of the performance parameter of the horse to be retired satisfies “Condition D” shown in FIG. 21 and “Umatama” whose ID is “U1” is removed from the retired horse. To do.
According to this aspect, it is possible to give the player a pleasure that the effect of “Umatama” removed from the retreating horse changes based on the ability of the horse. Also, by increasing the effect of the “Utamama” removed from the retired horse based on the ability of the horse, we would like to reuse the “Umatama” removed from the retired horse and nurture other horses. It becomes possible to guide to the player. As a result, it is possible to prevent the player from stopping playing the horse racing game as a result of the retirement of the horse raised by the player.
In addition, you may make it combine the some of several aspect (2-1)-(2-3) demonstrated above.
(3) When the game character retires from the competition (that is, when the player cannot use the game character in the game), the total number of game items owned by the player may be increased or decreased. For example, when the player's horse retires in the horse racing game described above, the total number of “Utamama” owned by the player may be increased or decreased. Hereinafter, this embodiment will be described.

For example, when a horse retires in the horse racing game described above, the
In this aspect, for example, data as shown in FIG. 23 is stored in the game
“Number change information” indicates how to change the “Utamama” owned by the player based on the number of “Utamama” attached to the retired horse. The information is shown. For example, “+ 5%” indicates that the “Umatama” owned by the player is increased by the number corresponding to 5% of the number of “Umatama” attached to the retired horse. In the data shown in FIG. 23, the correspondence relationship between the battle record condition and the number change information is set so that the better the battle record of the retired horse, the greater the number of “Utamama” owned by the player.
When the player's horse retires, the
Here, for example, the total number of “bears” owned by the player is “30”, the number of “bears” associated with the retired horse is “20”, and the retired horses. Is assumed to satisfy the “condition C” shown in FIG. In this case, the increase number of “Umatama” is set to 2 (20 * 0.1). As a result, the total number of “Umatama” owned by the player is increased from “30” to “32”. Such processing is executed in the processing shown in FIG.
According to this aspect, when the player's horse is retired, it is possible to give the player a pleasure that the number of “Umatama” possessed by the player is changed based on the result of the retired horse. In addition, by increasing the number of “Utamama” owned by the player based on the results of the retired horse, “Umatama” removed from the retired horse, and “Umatama” newly increased. It is possible to guide the player so that he / she wants to raise another horse. As a result, it is possible to prevent the player from stopping playing the horse racing game as a result of the retirement of the horse raised by the player.

In the data shown in FIG. 24, for example, when a horse is retired when the growth of the horse is at a peak, if the horse is retired before the growth of the horse reaches a peak, or the growth of the horse is too high. The relationship between the retirement timing condition and the number change information is set so that the number of “Umatama” possessed by the player is increased as compared with the case where the horse retires afterwards. Note that “condition A” to “condition C” shown in FIG. 24 are the same as the data shown in FIG.
