Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cap attached to various applicators such as a ballpoint pen and a sign pen. More specifically, the air flow path in the case of accidental swallowing is secured while improving the safety by simplifying the structure. About things.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Recently, applicators such as ballpoint pens, sign pens, and markers have become widespread, and various types of shapes with elaborate designs are used. Such an applicator is adapted to prevent and protect the applicator provided at the front end of the main body by drying by attaching a cap to the main body.
Such an applicator cap has a small shape, so infants and children often play with their hands, which may cause accidents such as accidental swallowing and suffocation.
[0003]
Therefore, in such an applicator, even if the cap is accidentally swallowed and used in the throat or trachea, it is required by the safety standard to have a shape that can secure a predetermined air flow path.
In other words, even if it is accidentally swallowed, safety is ensured by performing necessary treatment while maintaining respiration through a predetermined air flow path. Thus, in order to protect precious lives, applicators that comply with safety standards have been commercialized.
[0004]
By the way, the cap of the applicator is attached to the main body as described above to prevent and protect the applicator provided at the front end of the main body from drying. For this reason, airtightness is requested | required with respect to an application part. On the other hand, an air flow path when the cap is swallowed must be secured. In other words, when the cap is attached to the main body, the internal space of the cap and the outside must not communicate with each other, and the cap itself must communicate with the external space except for the opening side. Don't be. Thus, the airtight function required for the cap and the safety are contradictory.
Therefore, in order to satisfy the contradictory conditions, a double-structured cap has been used.
This double-structured cap has a double structure having an inner cylinder part for preventing the application part from drying and an outer cylinder part containing the inner cylinder part. A clearance is provided between them to ensure an air flow path. In many cases, this double-structured cap is generally formed by integrally molding a synthetic resin material.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the double-structured cap described above has an extremely complicated structure compared to a cap that considers only hermeticity, which increases the cost due to the complexity of the mold and makes it difficult to manufacture. .
In addition, such double-structured caps having an inner cylinder part and an outer cylinder part often have a cylindrical outer shape, and are difficult to use on the throat. There was a problem that it was easy to penetrate deeply into the body.
[0006]
The present invention has been proposed in view of the above-described problems, and has an extremely simple structure that keeps the cap's original coating part airtight and ensures an air flow path even when swallowed by mistake. It aims at providing the cap for applicators which can be used.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention proposed to achieve the above object is an applicator cap that is formed of a cylinder whose one end is closed and is attached to the main body of the applicator to hold the applicator in an airtight state. It is set as the structure which provided the protrusion part in a part of part.
[0008]
When the cap is composed only of a cylinder, the outer periphery of the cylinder is smooth, and if swallowed by mistake, there is a risk that it will penetrate deeply into the body without being caught by the throat and reach the trachea.
However, the cap of this invention has provided the protrusion part in a part of outer peripheral part of a cylinder. In other words, the outer peripheral portion of the cylinder is smooth, but the protrusion is provided to cause a catch. In particular, in the present invention, the projecting portion is not provided over the entire length of the outer peripheral portion of the cylinder, but the projecting portion is provided only on a part of the outer peripheral portion.
Thereby, a stepped portion is formed between the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical body and the protruding portion, making it easy to use at a portion having a different inner diameter such as a throat or a trachea.
[0009]
On the other hand, when a cap that has been swallowed by mistake can be used by the throat or trachea, the throat wall or tracheal wall is expanded by the protrusion provided on the cylinder. As a result, a gap is generated between the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical body and the throat wall or tracheal wall, and an air flow path is formed through the gap so that breathing can be maintained.
In other words, the cap of the present invention secures an air flow path that communicates the internal space with the outside, whereas the cap of the present invention secures an air flow path along the outer periphery of the cap. It has the characteristics. This eliminates the need for a complex double structure and makes the structure very simple.
[0010]
In addition, since one end of the cylindrical body of the cap of the present invention is closed, the original function of the cap, that is, it can be attached to the main body of the applicator to keep the applicator airtight and protect it. .
Furthermore, by providing a protruding portion on the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical body, the effect of preventing the rolling of the cap itself or the rolling of the applicator itself when the cap is attached to the main body portion is achieved.
[0011]
In the present invention, the projecting portion is provided on the outer peripheral portion of the opening end of the cylindrical body .
By providing the protrusion only on the outer peripheral portion of the opening end of the cylindrical body, the protrusion can be easily grasped at a portion where the inner diameter changes such as the throat and the trachea or a portion where the tube is bent.
This prevents the protruding portion of the cylindrical body from being caught by the throat wall or tracheal wall and entering the interior of the body, even if it is swallowed by mistake from either the opening side or the closed end side of the cap.
Moreover, when pulling out the cap swallowed from the closed end side, tweezers or the like can be inserted and grasped between the gap between the protruding portions and the inner peripheral portion of the cylindrical body. This reduces a problem that the cap itself is pushed further into the body in an attempt to grasp the cap .
[0012]
In the present invention, a clip may be provided in which one end is fixed to the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical body and the other end extends substantially along the axial direction toward the opening side of the cylindrical body.
The end of the clip can be fixed at an appropriate position on the outer periphery of the cylinder.
For example, the end of the clip can be fixed in the vicinity of the opening side of the cylinder, and can be extended along the axial direction toward the opening side of the cylinder. Further, the end of the clip may be fixed in the vicinity of the closed end side of the cylinder and extended toward the opening side of the cylinder. It is also possible to fix the end of the clip in the middle of the cylinder, that is, halfway between the opening side and the closed end side.
[0013]
Of course, the applicator can be fixed in a pocket or the like by providing a clip on the cylinder, but a further advantage is that entry into the body when swallowed by mistake is suppressed.
In other words, the flow path from the mouth to the trachea through the throat is bent rather than linear. For this reason, the straight and longest possible object is less likely to enter the body if swallowed by mistake.
[0014]
Since the cap of the present invention is provided so that the clip extends from the cylindrical body, the total length of the cap increases compared to the case of only the cylindrical body, and it becomes difficult to enter the body.
In addition, when the cap is accidentally swallowed from the closed end side of the cylinder, it is easy to pull out by grasping the tip of the clip with tweezers. On the contrary, when the cap is swallowed from the clip side, the tip portion and the protruding portion of the clip are easier to use on the throat wall and the like than when swallowed from the closed end side of the cylindrical body, and are more difficult to get into the body.
In addition, since the clip is provided on the cylindrical body, the cap itself is more difficult to roll as compared with the case where only the protruding portion is provided, and the application tool can be prevented from rolling even when the cap is attached to the main body portion.
[0015]
In the present invention, the protrusion may be formed by a protrusion.
As described above, in the cap of the present invention, the protrusion has two functions.
In other words, when the cap is held on the throat wall or tracheal wall, the projecting portion comes into contact with the throat wall so as to push the throat wall, and creates a gap between the outer periphery of the cylinder and the throat wall, And a function of causing the surface of the cylindrical body to be caught.
Therefore, if it has these functions, a protrusion (protrusion part) can be suitably arrange | positioned to a part of outer peripheral part of a cylinder. The number of protrusions may be one (reference example), and a plurality of protrusions may be provided along the outer periphery.
Further, the shape of the protrusion can take various shapes such as a cylindrical shape, a prism shape, and a conical shape.
The sharper the tip of the protrusion is, the more easily it is caught on the throat wall when swallowed by mistake, but conversely, the throat wall is easily damaged. Further, in consideration of the tactile sensation of the cap when the applicator is used, it is preferable that the tip of the protrusion has an appropriate roundness.
[0016]
In the present invention, the projecting portion may be formed by a rib having a predetermined length that projects in a substantially axial direction or a substantially circumferential direction.
As described above, the functions required for the projecting part are a function of expanding the throat wall and the like to create a gap between the outer peripheral part of the cylinder and the throat wall, and a function of causing the surface of the cylinder to be caught. there were. Therefore, if it is a shape which has such a function, a protrusion part can also be formed using a rib not only above-mentioned protrusion.
[0017]
In the case where the rib protrudes substantially in the axial direction, for example, a predetermined length of rib can be arranged on the outer peripheral portion of the cylinder from the opening side end of the cylinder toward the axial direction (closed end side). Further, a plurality of ribs having the same shape directed in the axial direction can be arranged radially on the outer peripheral portion. By providing the ribs in the axial direction in this way, it is possible to form a space between the ribs and the outer peripheral portion of the cylinder by forming the air flow path by pushing the throat wall and the like with the ribs.
[0018]
On the other hand, when the rib is provided so as to protrude substantially in the circumferential direction, for example, a predetermined length of rib can be arranged in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical body. Also, a plurality of ribs having the same shape can be arranged radially with respect to the axis with a predetermined interval between the ends of the ribs. It is also possible to arrange a plurality of rows of ribs having the same shape as the ribs provided in the circumferential direction in a row in the axial direction.
By providing the ribs in the circumferential direction in this way, the ribs can be used to spread the throat wall and create a gap between the end of the ribs and the outer periphery of the cylinder to form an air flow path. it can.
[0019]
In the present invention, the diameter of the maximum circumscribed circle of the cap may be 1.25 times or more the maximum outer diameter of the cylindrical body.
Here, in the cap of the present invention, since the protruding portion or the clip is provided on the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical body, the maximum circumscribed circle is obtained at the portion where the protruding portion is provided or the portion where the protruding portion and the clip are provided. It is done. The diameter of the maximum circumscribed circle can be configured to be 1.25 times or more the maximum outer diameter of the cylindrical body.
As described above, the projecting portion has a function of creating a gap between the outer peripheral portion of the cylinder and the throat wall by expanding the throat wall and the like, and a function of creating a catch on the surface of the cylinder. Has the same function.
Therefore, as the height of the protruding portion or the height (thickness) of the clip increases, the gap widens and becomes easily caught.
[0020]
By the way, when the cap is accidentally swallowed and used in the throat or trachea, the formed air flow path can be equivalently evaluated by covering the cap with an elastic tube or the like.
For example, the entire cap is covered with an elastic tube (silicon tube, etc.) having an inner diameter of 80% to 85% of the maximum outer diameter of the cap, and equivalent by ensuring an air flow path that can obtain a predetermined air flow rate in this state. Safety can be evaluated.
That is, if the maximum outer diameter of the cap cylinder is less than 80% of the maximum outer diameter of the cap, the outer periphery of the cylinder and the inner wall of the tube are covered with a tube having an inner diameter of 80% of the maximum outer diameter of the cap. An air flow path can be formed by creating a gap between them.
In other words, if the maximum outer diameter of the cap is 1.25 times or more than the maximum outer diameter of the cylinder, a gap can be generated between the throat wall and the like.
[0021]
Therefore, the diameter of the maximum circumscribed circle of the part provided with the protrusion or the part provided with the protrusion and the clip is 1.25 times or more of the maximum outer diameter of the cylindrical body in order to secure an air flow path. If it is good.
When the diameter of the maximum circumscribed circle is less than 1.25 times the maximum outer diameter of the cylinder, that is, when the height of the protrusion or clip is not sufficient, it is between the outer periphery of the cylinder and the throat wall, etc. Therefore, there is a possibility that a sufficient gap cannot be secured and the air flow path is not formed. Moreover, since the height of a clip and a protrusion part is not enough in the shape less than 1.25 times, the effect as a catch of the surface of a cylinder is also reduced.
[0022]
In the present invention, the diameter of the maximum circumscribed circle of the cap may be 1.3 times or more the maximum outer diameter of the cylindrical body.
As described above, when a tube having an inner diameter of 80% of the maximum outer diameter of the cap is put on the cap, the diameter of the maximum circumscribed circle of the cap is not less than 1.25 times the maximum outer diameter of the cylindrical body. An air flow path can be secured. However, the diameter of the maximum circumscribed circle of the cap is desirably 1.3 times or more the maximum outer diameter of the cylindrical body.
If the maximum circumscribed circle diameter of the cap is at least 1.3 times the maximum outer diameter of the cylinder, a larger gap will be formed when the cap is covered with a tube to ensure a stable air flow path. Can do. Moreover, the effect as a catch on the surface of the cylinder is further increased.
[0023]
In the present invention, the maximum width of the clip is smaller than either the minimum width of the gap formed between adjacent protrusions or the minimum width of the gap formed between adjacent protrusions and the clip. It can be configured.
In the cap manufacturing process, a large number of caps may be temporarily stored in one container. At this time, the clip of the cap enters the gap between the protrusions of the other cap, or enters the gap between the protrusion of the other cap and the clip and is connected, and the work efficiency in the manufacturing process May be reduced.
According to the cap of the present invention, the cap is formed so that the maximum width of the clip is smaller than the minimum width of the gap. Thereby, there is no problem that the clips are connected to each other, and a reduction in work efficiency is prevented.
[0024]
In the present invention, at least one airtight ring is provided on the inner peripheral portion of the cylindrical body so as to be in contact with or engage with the peripheral portion of the main body portion to maintain airtightness. Can be configured to be provided on the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical body excluding the portion where the airtight ring is provided.
The cap of the applicator is originally an object that is attached to the main body to protect the applicator while keeping the applicator airtight.
In order to cover the main body with the cap and maintain the airtightness of the application part, it is necessary to precisely manufacture the inner peripheral part of the cap and the outer peripheral part of the main body part with which the cap fits.
[0025]
For this reason, when manufacturing a cap and a main-body part by injection-molding a synthetic resin material, high dimensional accuracy is requested | required of a molded article, and preparation of a metal mold | die becomes difficult.
Therefore, for example, an airtight ring slightly protruded from the inner periphery of the cap cylinder is provided over the entire circumference in the circumferential direction, and a slight taper is provided when the cap is fitted to the main body. A configuration is adopted in which the airtight ring is pressed by the outer peripheral portion of the main body while being slightly elastically deformed by the main body to obtain high airtightness. For this reason, roundness is required for the airtight ring provided on the inner peripheral portion of the cap cylinder.
However, if protrusions or ribs are partially provided on the outer peripheral portion of the portion of the cylindrical body where the airtight ring is provided, sink marks and bubbles are likely to occur during injection molding, and the roundness of the airtight ring is significantly impaired.
[0026]
However, according to the cap of the present invention, the projecting portion (protrusion or rib) provided on the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical body or the end of the clip is provided on the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical body excluding the portion where the airtight ring is provided. Thereby, the roundness of the airtight ring is not impaired by injection molding, and high airtightness can be ensured.
[0027]
In the present invention, at least one of the projecting portion and the clip may be formed integrally with the cylindrical body.
As described above, the cap of the present invention has a configuration in which the protruding portion is provided on the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical body, or a configuration in which the protruding portion and the clip are provided on the outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical body.
Therefore, it is also possible to manufacture the cap by separately making the cylindrical body, the protruding portion and the clip, and joining the protruding portion and the clip to the cylindrical body. However, it takes time to manufacture and the work efficiency is poor.
Since the cap of the present invention has a very simple configuration as described above, for example, when a synthetic resin material is formed by injection molding, a mold can be easily manufactured.
By integrally forming the cylindrical body, the protruding portion, and the clip, the manufacturing cost can be reduced and the working efficiency can be improved.
