Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mold management method for a punch press equipped with a mold selection and exchange device, and a mold management device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, there are various types of methods for managing molds in a punch press equipped with a mold selection and exchange device. For example, by assigning a unique mold number to each mold and storing mold information (shape, size, etc.) of each mold corresponding to the mold number, managing each mold, Also, information specific to each of the upper die (punch) and lower die (die) (manufacturing time, number of uses, etc.) and set die information including die clearance when both upper and lower dies are set There are various types that manage the mold exchange based on the set mold information and others.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, all of these conventional products have a problem that no consideration is given to a mold that can be identified as intended. In other words, it is needless to say that the die must be managed individually for the punch and die, including the shape, size, etc., as well as the manufacturing time, number of uses, and re-polishing history. It is enough.
[0004]
For example, if you purchase two identical molds, they must be identified as individuals, but they are considered to be used for the same purpose, and can be identified as intended. There is no need to distinguish between the two, and they may be handled as the same mold. That is, as the mold data managed by the machining data creation device, both can be handled as the same mold, while as the die data managed at the machining site, the mold specified by the machining data creation device Either of the molds can be assigned to the data.
[0005]
In addition, even when using different types of dies, for example, when both are used for outer periphery cutting, the purpose of use (used for outer periphery cutting) is the same, so it can be identified as intended. In that sense, there is no need to distinguish between the two.
[0006]
However, the conventional ones are intended to be used because the molds are managed individually for both punches and dies, and in the case of set dies with punches and dies set, each set mold is managed individually. Even if they can be identified identically, they must be treated as separate molds (punch / die or set mold) so that the user is free to use the mold according to the user's intention It is not possible to use information that realizes the possibility of use, and therefore, for example, the mold management of the punch press can be performed by the user's own mold usage method such as the mold identification memo that the user has used before. There was a problem that could not be reflected in.
[0007]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a punch press die management method and apparatus capable of group management of dies that can be identified with the intention of use, while eliminating the problems of the conventional ones. .

For example, the mold (punch P2) shown in FIG. 4 (b), which is exactly the same as the mold (for example, punch P1) having the unique code “12345” and the shared code “Z9876” shown in FIG. 4 (a), was purchased. In this case, the individual code of the new mold (punch P2) is identified as “22222”, for example, but the individual code can be identified with the purpose of the previous mold (punch P1), so the same shared code “Z9876” Add. That is, the shared code “Z9876” of the previous mold (punch P1) is copied to a new mold (punch P2).
[0033]
Further, for example, a die (for example, the die D1) having the unique code “23456” and the shared code “Z8765” shown in FIG. 5A, the unique code “45678”, and the shared code “Z7536” shown in FIG. Even if the mold (die D2) having "" is completely different, if both have the same intended use (for example, to be used for peripheral cutting), as shown in FIGS. The same shared code (for example, “S5555”) is attached to both. As a result, two molds (die D1, D2) inheriting the attribute of outer periphery cutting are generated. In this way, a single die can have a plurality of usage intentions such as nibbling, overtaking, outer periphery cutting, notch, single shot,..., And thus has a plurality of shared codes corresponding to the plurality of usage intentions. be able to.
[0034]
Further, for example, in addition to the unique code shown in FIG. 6A, a die (punch P) having shared codes “1”, “4”... “I”, and the unique code shown in FIG. When combined with a die (die D) having a shared code “2” “4”... “J”, as shown in FIG. 6C, a punch / die combination having a shared code “4”. P / D is configured. Further, the combination of the punch and the die can be various combinations as shown in FIG. 6D depending on conditions such as die clearance with respect to the punch.
[0035]
FIG. 7 shows a flowchart of the entire die management in the punch press machine system including the die management method of the punch press according to the present invention. [0038]
In addition, the mold / material setup process S30 in the NC apparatus performs the setup process using the used mold information / setup information attached to the machining data. In material preparation, materials necessary for processing are confirmed and allocated. Die set-up does not work with an installed mold to comply with the processing intent, but when a mold change occurs, or when replacing a mold related to mold life management, or when changing the setting of an alternative mold (mold This is done for the purpose of changing the content of intended use substitution information). The setting of the alternative mold can be changed during the machining in addition to the pre-setting before machining. Especially for the life replacement, the setting change such as replacement before the life or neglect of the life can be performed.
[0039]
The punch / die calculation process S40 immediately before the die replacement at the time of processing is to select a combination of punch / die to be used for processing by using die information / material information attached to the processing data. Select the mold group (mold intent substitution information) to be used for machining from the material, machining intent, and mold information to be used, and the contents of life substitution, clearance substitution, application substitution, etc. from the mold group. To select the punch / die to be actually used for processing. In addition, the mold can be selected in advance from the next and subsequent molds during processing, and the machine can be notified in advance. Furthermore, when performing mold replacement / maintenance during machining, it is possible to select again according to the progress of machining, including information notified in advance.
[0040]
Further, the punch / die use frequency update process S60 can discard the die information after the processing is completed or when the die is set up when it is determined that the lifetime is determined by the punch / die individual use history management. In addition, when remanufacturing by regrinding or the like, it is recorded in the maintenance record.

FIG. 8 shows a specific example of the mold introduction process S10 in the mold management apparatus of FIG. 7, and the unique code reading process (step S11), the mold information reading process from the seller (step S12), and sharing. It consists of a storage process (step S13) of the code / mold information to the server. Here, with respect to the mold information reading process from the seller (step S12), in the case of a standard mold, a part of the information may depend on the server on the user side.
[0042]
FIG. 9 shows an example of an apparatus for realizing such a mold introduction process. In other words, a local network 81 provided in the mold management system 80 of the machine / mold vendor and a local network 91 provided in the user-side mold management system 90 are connected via the

[0055]
The available holding molds that are not mounted on the machine are identified by the location information in the “unique code information”. All owned molds can be recognized by “unique code information”, and “machine mounted mold information” can be said to be a partial replication of “unique code information”.
[0056]
FIG. 14 shows punch / die selection at the time of setup and processing on the processing machine, and notifies the die changer of replacement instruction information corresponding to the storage number by the determined punch / die combination. Further, the usage history is integrated during machining, and when exchanging dies, the usage history of the update information corresponding to the unique code of each punch / die is integrated.
[0057]
FIG. 15 shows setting of an alternative mold as a specific example of the mold / material setup process S30 in the NC apparatus of FIG. In other words, the alternative molds are set as a group of molds that have the same shape size as the molds that can be identified, the die clearance with respect to the punch is within the specified range, and the mold usage intentions corresponding to the machining intentions also match. The usage priority order of the individual molds forming the group is determined.
[0058]
As shown in FIG. 15A, for example, the group management of a φ5 die will be described. When the die clearance is set to CL 0.3 mm depending on the material and the processing method, No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 are Suppose they are grouped together. At this time, when there is an intention to use a material having a large pulling force due to the plate thickness of 3.2 t (substitution of intended use), for example, as shown in FIG. If a spring with a large pull-out force is used, the two will form a group.
[0059]
Then, No. 1 and No. 2 are compared according to the mold material, usage history, etc., and the priority order to be used is determined. For example, if the life of No. 1 is longer than that of No. 2, when the product accuracy is required (use replacement), the one with the longer life (No. 1) is given priority. In addition, when efficient use of the mold is required (life replacement), priority is given to the one whose life is exhausted earlier (No. 2).
[0060]
As alternative types, there are clearance alternatives in addition to application alternatives and life alternatives. Also, the combination can be replaced due to the shared code. The substitute information is usually automatically generated according to the intention to use the mold and the intention to process. When the user edits the generated information, if the editing intention is input, it is memorized and used for generation (learning function) from the next time.
[0061]
When there is no alternative next candidate, continue using the standard → final candidate. (It is assumed that it can be set up during processing at the user's selection.) Also, when editing alternative information during processing, only standard → editing is possible. (It can be set up during processing at the user's choice.)
FIG. 16 shows a specific example of the punch / die calculation process S40 immediately before the die change at the time of processing shown in FIG. That is, during normal machining, as shown in FIG. 16 (a), machining data reading / die code retrieval processing (step S41), punch / die calculation processing (step S42), setup determination (step S43), gold It consists of a mold setup process (step S44), an information notification process to the mold exchanging device (step S45), and a next mold determination (step S46).
[0062]
Further, when changing the alternative mold information, as shown in FIG. 16B, a process constituted by an in-process alternative mold information editing process (step S47) and an information update process (step S48) is performed. The processing is performed in parallel with the punch / die calculation processing (step S40) immediately before the die change during processing.
[0063]
Then, the next determination that there is a mold during normal machining (step S46) and the information update process (step S48) when changing the alternative mold information are synchronized.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention attaches a identifiable shared code to a plurality of dies that can be intentionally identified among many dies, and uses this shared code to manage the plurality of dies in groups. With this configuration, the use intention of each mold can be recognized by using the shared code, and the shared code can be used as a common recognition code between the processing data creation device and the processing machine. Therefore, for example, the user's own mold usage method such as a mold identification memo that the user has used before can be reflected in the mold management of the punch press. In addition, since the shared code can be used as a code that can recognize the relationship of replacing the mold with the processing machine, it is possible to perform mold replacement such as life replacement, application replacement, clearance replacement during processing, There is an effect that it is possible to take time for the processing operation without stopping the processing machine.
