Description
The present invention relates to a surface mounter equipped with an empty tape cutting device for cutting an empty tape discharged from a tape feeder.
A conventional surface mounter of this type is disclosed in Patent Document 1, for example. The surface mounter disclosed in Patent Document 1 includes a large number of tape feeders on the side of a conveyor that conveys a printed wiring board. Empty tapes discharged from these tape feeders (hereinafter simply referred to as “empty tapes”) are discharged downward from the tip of the tape feeder and sent to an empty tape cutting device located below the tape feeder.
The blank tape cutting device cuts the blank tape into a predetermined length so that the blank tape can be easily discarded. The blank tape cutting device provided in this conventional surface mounter has a structure in which the blank tape is cut by being sandwiched between a fixed blade and a movable blade.
The fixed blade is formed in a straight line so as to extend in a direction in which a large number of tape feeders are arranged, and is fixed to a base member of an empty tape cutting device.
The movable blade is formed in a straight line having substantially the same length as the fixed blade, one end is supported by the base member via a slide mechanism, and the other end is a base via a link mechanism. It is supported by the member.
The slide mechanism includes a slider supported by a base member so as to be movable in parallel and a pivot pin for rotatably connecting one end of a movable blade to the slider. A first air cylinder is connected to the slider, and the slider is moved toward or away from the fixed blade by driving by the first air cylinder.
The link mechanism is constituted by a second air cylinder that is swingably supported by the base member. The cylinder body of the second air cylinder is pivotally supported by the base member, and the piston rod of the second air cylinder is rotatably connected to the other end of the movable blade.
In order to cut the empty tape by this conventional empty tape cutting device, the piston rods of the first and second air cylinders are retracted to the cylinder body side in advance, and first, the slider is moved by the first air cylinder. Advance to the fixed blade side. At this time, the second air cylinder connected to the other end of the movable blade swings when the piston rod is pulled by the advance of the movable blade.
Next, the piston rod of the second air cylinder is advanced. As the piston rod moves forward, the movable blade swings around its one end, and the other end of the movable blade engages with the fixed blade, cutting the remaining empty tapes sequentially. To do.
However, since the above-described conventional blank tape cutting device is configured to advance one end portion of the movable blade and then advance the other end portion to cut the blank tape, the structure of the driving device that drives the movable blade. There was a problem that became complicated. That is, the conventional blank tape cutting device requires a slider that supports one end of the movable blade and a link mechanism that includes a second air cylinder that supports the other end of the movable blade. Cost becomes high.
In addition, the need for two air cylinders to drive the movable blade is one of the causes of increased costs.
Note that the cost can be reduced to some extent by adopting a configuration in which the movable blade moves in a single direction or a configuration in which the movable blade is driven by one air cylinder. However, when such a configuration is adopted, a large space for operating the movable blade is required, and thus the empty tape cutting device is increased in size.
The present invention has been made to solve such problems, and provides a surface mounting machine in which the structure of an empty tape cutting device is simplified and the cost is reduced while preventing the device from becoming large. For the purpose.
In order to achieve this object, the surface mounter according to the present invention cuts the empty tape discharged from a plurality of tape feeders by sandwiching it with a fixed blade and a movable blade formed long in the direction in which the tape feeders are arranged. In the surface mounting machine provided with the empty tape cutting device, the empty tape cutting device translates the movable blade in the blade width direction perpendicular to the left-right direction with respect to the fixed blade in addition to the movable blade and the fixed blade. A movable plate that is freely supported , and includes a base plate, a pair of left and right guide rails provided on the base plate, and a slider that is movably supported by the guide rails. a movable plate fixed by a fixing bolt in a state placed was in the slider, is positioned in the left-right direction central portion of the one that drives the movable plate The movable blade is formed to be separable into a left half that is one end in the longitudinal direction and a right half that is the other end, and the left half and the right half are inclined. Are formed at the rear end of the movable plate adjacent to the fixed blade by a plurality of fixing bolts arranged in the left-right direction. In a state where the half is fixed to the movable plate, the width of the blade is such that the blade moves away from the fixed blade in a plan view from the left end in the longitudinal direction of the movable blade toward the right end on the center side. is formed so as gradually changes, the inclined portion of the right half portion, in a state where the right half portion is fixed to the movable plate, from the longitudinal right end of the movable blade in a plan view So as to be separated from the fixed blade toward the left end of the central portion, in Rukoto formed as blade width gradually changes, the said right half portion and the inclined portion of the left half By a pair of left and right inclined parts composed of inclined parts, the central part in the longitudinal direction of the movable blade in a plan view is formed to be a valley that is relatively separated from the fixed blade as compared to both end parts. is there.
According to the present invention, by moving the movable blade closer to the fixed blade by parallel movement, each inclined portion of the movable blade is engaged with the fixed blade obliquely, and a large number of empty tapes can be sequentially cut. For this reason, the blank tape cutting device does not need a function of swinging the movable blade, and only has a function of moving the movable blade in parallel. Therefore, the structure of the blank tape cutting device can be simplified. . In addition, since the empty tape cutting device according to the present invention performs cutting simultaneously at a plurality of inclined portions, the operating space of the movable blade is narrower than when the movable blade formed in a straight line is translated. be able to.
Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to simplify the structure of the empty tape cutting device while saving space, and thus it is possible to provide a surface mounter that is reduced in size and cost.
Further, according to the present invention, since the movable blade can be driven by one air cylinder, it is possible to provide a surface mounter with further reduced manufacturing costs.
Further , according to the present invention , since the movable blade can be formed for each inclined portion, the valley-shaped movable blade can be easily formed.
Therefore, since the empty tape cutting device can be manufactured at a low cost, it is possible to provide a surface mounter with a further reduced manufacturing cost .
According to the invention in which the movable blade is formed in a valley shape in plan view, and the position regulating surface is formed on the position regulating member so as to be in sliding contact with the upper surfaces of both ends in the longitudinal direction of the movable blade. Since the position restricting surface is in sliding contact with the portion, the height of the movable blade can be restricted by the position restricting member over the entire region where the movable blade moves. Further, since the position restricting members are located at both ends of the space for passing the empty tape between the movable blade and the fixed blade, the empty tape is hardly interfered by the position restricting member.
For this reason, in order to prevent the movable blade and the fixed blade from colliding with each other, since the empty tape passes through the space correctly, the empty tape does not stay in the empty tape cutting device. Therefore, according to the present invention, since the surface mounter is not stopped in order to remove the empty tape staying in the empty tape cutting device, it is possible to perform surface mounting that can be continued. Machine can be provided.

As shown in FIG. 5, the

In the surface mounter 1 equipped with the blank
In order to cut the empty tape by the empty
Therefore, since the empty
Therefore, according to the present invention, since the structure of the empty
Further, in the empty
The blank
Since the empty
In the blank
For this reason, in order to prevent interference between the
In this embodiment, the empty
Therefore, since the empty
In the above-described embodiment, the example in which the
In addition, the empty tape cutting device can form the
