道路とレールを有する軌道の両方を走行する車両を利用したデュアルモード・トランスポート・システムにおける道路と軌道間でゲートの開閉を行うゲート開閉装置であって、
車上装置と地上装置を有し、前記車上装置は、車両の先端下部に設けられ地上に車両特定信号を送信する送信器と、ゲート開閉信号を送り出すリモート信号送信器を有し、
前記地上装置は、ゲートと受信表示装置と道路側に設けたゲート制御用地上子とレール側に設けたゲート制御用地上子と道路側に設けた受信器とレール側に設けた受信器とゲート開閉制御装置及び中央制御装置を有し、
前記ゲートは車両が道路からレール及びレールから道路の走行モードを変換するモード変換領域の道路側の境界に設けられ、
前記受信表示装置は、車両のリモート信号送信器で送信したゲート開閉信号を受信するリモート信号受信器と、信号灯を有する表示部を有し、
前記道路側に設けたゲート制御用地上子とレール側に設けたゲート制御用地上子は、車両を検知するものであり、前記道路側に設けたゲート制御用地上子は前記受信表示装置の設置位置から道路側の一定距離隔てた位置に設けられ、前記レール側に設けたゲート制御用地上子は前記受信表示装置の設置位置からレール側の一定距離隔てた位置に設けられ、
