Description

The present invention relates to a denture.

Various proposals for improving the quality of dentures have been made. For example, Patent Document 1 below proposes a denture for a patient who cannot receive dental treatment despite the high need for dental treatment due to the elderly or other diseases.

Conventionally, acrylic resin and polycarbonate have been mainly used for denture base materials. However, in the case of acrylic resin or polycarbonate, the strength is not sufficient, and it may be broken by repeated attachment and detachment. Therefore, the denture base must be thickened. However, if the denture base is made thicker, it becomes heavier and uncomfortable when worn. Moreover, when the denture base is thick, the aesthetics are impaired, and there is also a problem that it is easy to notice that it is a denture.

In addition, since acrylic resin and polycarbonate have a high water absorption rate, the denture base absorbs various bacteria together with water. It is therefore necessary to pay attention to disinfection. In addition, nylon, which has been used in the past, is used as a material for denture base. In this case, a problem of discoloration occurs during use. In addition, in the case of acrylic or the like, the monomer remaining at the time of manufacture may give the user a strange taste and may cause resin allergy. It is desirable to develop a denture that eliminates these problems.

Therefore, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a denture having advantages such as a thin denture base, light, strong, easy to maintain a clean state, high aesthetics, and no problem of allergy. .

Means for Solving the Problems and Effects of the Invention

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a denture according to the present invention is a full denture for an upper jaw provided with artificial teeth and a denture base, and the denture base is made of polypropylene, and the gingival part and the population of the denture base The tooth is joined with synthetic resin, and a concave joint strengthening part is formed to increase the joint strength between the artificial tooth and the denture base by the polypropylene resin of the denture base entering and solidifying the root part of the artificial tooth. The artificial teeth are arranged in a U-shape and the root portion of the artificial teeth is covered with polypropylene resin, and a connecting floor portion covering the space inside the U-shape, the denture The two-piece structure is formed by integrally joining a piece made of polypropylene resin constituting the gingival part and a piece made of polypropylene resin constituting the connection floor part .

Thus, in the denture according to the present invention, since the denture base is made of polypropylene, a denture with high comfort can be created by using a thin denture base by utilizing the high strength of polypropylene. In addition, since it is a thin denture base, it is highly aesthetic and has the effect that it is difficult to tell if it is a denture. Furthermore, since it is polypropylene, there is no problem of allergies and the problem of strange taste as with acrylics. Moreover, since the concave joint reinforcement | strengthening part is formed in the artificial tooth, it can overcome that the chemical bonding performance between polypropylene and resin is low, and the artificial tooth can be reliably bonded to the denture base.

In addition, an annular groove is formed around the root portion of the artificial tooth, and the annular groove is solidified by entering and solidifying the polypropylene resin of the denture base. Good.

As a result, an annular groove is formed in the root portion of the artificial tooth, and the joint is strengthened by pouring and individualizing polypropylene therein, so that the artificial tooth can be reliably bonded to the denture base.

Further, the denture is a partial denture, and the user is in a state where the partial denture is mounted in the user's mouth in the upper part of the gingival part of the denture base and adjacent to the artificial tooth. An opening that exposes the remaining teeth of the denture base is formed, and the fibers of the same color are embedded in the polypropylene resin of the denture base so as to partially enter the center side from the edge of the opening, and the fibers are integrated with the remaining teeth. It is good also as a fiber rest which hits the upper part of a tooth and suppresses denture sinking.

As a result, a fiber rest of the same tooth color is formed in the opening into which the user's remaining teeth are inserted, so that the rest is less visible from others and the aesthetics are improved while suppressing the denture settling. Furthermore, since it is not a metal rest as in the prior art, there is no problem of metal allergy.

The denture is a full denture for the upper jaw, and the artificial teeth are arranged in a U-shape and the root portion of the artificial teeth is covered with polypropylene resin, and the space inside the U-shape. The denture is formed with a two-piece structure in which a piece made of polypropylene resin constituting the gingival part and a piece made of polypropylene resin constituting the connection floor part are integrally joined. It may be.

As a result, the full denture for the upper jaw has a two-piece structure in which a U-shaped gingival part and a connecting floor part that connects the U-shaped gingival part are separately formed, so that the gingival part and the connecting floor part are integrally molded. In such a case, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of a problem that the connecting floor part is detached from the mold and distorted. Therefore, the accuracy of fitting denture users is improved.

The figure which shows the denture of Example 1 of this invention. The figure which shows the denture of Example 2 of this invention.

図1(a)は斜視図、(b)はA−A断面図である。   Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. First, FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a denture 1 of Example 1 of the present invention. FIG. 1A is a perspective view, and FIG.

The denture 1 is a partial denture (partial denture) and may be used for the upper jaw or the lower jaw. The artificial teeth 3 are arranged and embedded on the denture base 2. This denture base 2 is a gingival part (alveolar ridge part). FIG. 1 is merely an example, and no limitation is imposed on the number and position of artificial teeth 3 in the denture 1 in the present invention.

The artificial tooth 3 may be made of, for example, an acrylic hard resin. As a feature of the present invention, the denture base 2 is made of polypropylene resin. If polypropylene is used, the specific gravity is low among the resins and the strength is high. Therefore, if the denture base 2 is made thin, a light and durable denture 1 can be produced. The thickness of the denture base 2 (for example, the length of C in FIG. 1) may be in the range of 0.01 mm to 1 mm, for example.

Moreover, since the intensity | strength of a polypropylene is high, the area of the denture base 2 can also be made small. For example, the ratio of the height of the gingiva to the tooth height (that is, the value of D2 / D1 in FIG. 1) may be in the range of 0.2 to 2. If the denture base 2 is made thin and small as described above, it is light and strong, and the comfort at the time of wearing becomes high. In addition, since the denture base 2 is thin, the step between the user's gingiva (alveolar ridge) or the step between the artificial tooth 3 and the remaining tooth is small, and the aesthetics are high. Also has the effect.

Polypropylene has a low water absorption rate compared to acrylic and polycarbonate (the water absorption rates of polypropylene, acrylic, and polycarbonate are 0.01, 0.7, and 0.3, respectively). Therefore, if the denture base 2 is formed of polypropylene, it is difficult to absorb various bacteria together with water, so the hygiene level is higher than that of conventional dentures and no special cleaning agent is required. In addition, due to the low water absorption, discoloration and deterioration are extremely small even in long-term use.

Further, since the denture base 2 is made of polypropylene, it does not cause resin allergy due to monomers remaining in the preparation process such as acrylic. Also, it does not taste strange in the mouth. Polypropylene is safe and non-toxic to the human body. Since the hardness of polypropylene can be arbitrarily adjusted at the time of production, the hardness (flexibility) of the denture base 2 may be set according to the user's preference and condition.

An opening 4 is formed in the denture 1 at a location adjacent to the artificial tooth 3. The user's remaining teeth are inserted into the opening 4 and exposed. The opening 4 is formed with a rest 5 (sink prevention portion) that is a protrusion protruding from the peripheral edge of the opening 4 toward the inside of the opening (center side). The rest 5 abuts on the user's remaining teeth (upper part thereof), so that the denture 1 is prevented from sinking to the user's alveolar ridge during meshing and mastication. The rest 5 of the denture 1 is not made of metal as in the prior art, but is made of fiber. The color of the rest 5 is the same color (same color, same color) as the artificial tooth 3 or natural tooth (tooth), for example, white or milky white.

Since the rest 5 is made of fiber, it has sufficient strength. In addition, since the rest 5 is similar in color to the teeth, the rest 5 is difficult to visually recognize and achieves high aesthetics. Furthermore, since the rest 5 is not made of metal, the problem of metal allergy is avoided. The rest 5 may be, for example, an elongated plate-like shape, embedded in a polypropylene denture base 2 and disposed so that only the tip portion is partially exposed in the opening 4. What is necessary is just to arrange | position the rest 5 with the artificial tooth 3 in a type | mold at the time of injection molding (after-mentioned) of a polypropylene so that it may be embedded in the position.

The shape of the denture base 2 of the denture 1 is formed along the shape of the user's alveolar ridge 10. And as shown in FIG.1 (b), the denture 1 is inserted in the alveolar ridge 10, and functions as a denture.

The method for creating the denture 1 is as follows. Since the raw material of the denture base 2 is made of polypropylene as described above, a concave portion 30 is formed in the artificial tooth 3 as shown in FIG. Connect by fitting). For example, the recess 30 may be an annular groove formed annularly (continuously) around the root portion of the artificial tooth 3. It may be a discontinuous recess that is not continuous in an annular shape.

The artificial tooth 3 formed in this way is made of a hard resin including the concave portion 30 as described above, and is arranged at an appropriate position in a mold shaped like a user's mouth. Then, high temperature fluid polypropylene is injected into the mold. As a result, polypropylene also enters the recess 30. The cooled and solidified polypropylene becomes the denture base 2. The denture base 2 thus formed has a convex portion in the concave portion 30, and is in a state where the artificial tooth 3 and the artificial tooth 3 are engaged with each other. As a result, the denture base 2 is mechanically integrated with the artificial tooth 3. Such a method of integration overcomes the poor chemical bonding performance between polypropylene and resin.

Next, the denture 1a of Example 2 shown in FIG. 2 will be described. The denture 1a is an upper complete denture (total denture). Fig.2 (a) is a bottom view of the denture 1a, (b) is BB sectional drawing. In FIG. 2 (b), the user's palate is on the lower side in the figure.

The denture base 2 of the denture 1a has a two-piece structure composed of a piece of the gingival part 20 (alveolar ridge part) and a piece of the connection floor part 21 (palate part). As shown in FIG. 2A, the gingival portion 20 is formed in a U-shape (horse-shoe shape), and artificial teeth 3 on the upper jaw side are arranged and arranged. The connecting floor portion 21 is formed so as to connect the U-shaped inner side of the gingival portion 20. The connecting floor portion 21 is a portion that comes into contact with the user's palate when worn. The gingival part 20 and the connecting floor part 21 may be made of polypropylene. The use of polypropylene achieves the same effect as the denture base 2 of Example 1.

All the artificial teeth 3 of the denture 1a are mechanically coupled to the gingival portion 20 by the recess 30 as in the first embodiment. Further, the gingival portion 20 and the connecting floor portion 21 are also mechanically coupled. For this purpose, the groove portion 22 is formed continuously with the U-shaped inner edge portion of the gingival portion 20.

In the preparation procedure, when the gingival part 20 is injection-molded so as to be mechanically coupled to the artificial tooth 3 as in the first embodiment, a U-shaped convex part is formed in the mold. As a result, a U-shaped groove portion 22 as shown in FIG. 2B is formed in the gingival portion 20 formed by individualizing polypropylene. Next, the gingival part 20 (including artificial teeth 3) is placed in a mold for molding the connecting floor part 21, and polypropylene is injected.

Thereby, in the connection floor part 21 formed by individualization, polypropylene also enters into the groove part 22. The cooled and solidified polypropylene becomes the connecting floor portion 21. The connecting floor portion 21 thus formed has a convex portion in the groove portion 22, and is in a state in which the groove portion 22 is engaged with the concave and convex portions. As a result, the connecting floor portion 21 is mechanically integrated with the gingival portion 20.

Since the hardness of polypropylene can be arbitrarily adjusted at the time of production, the connecting floor portion 21 may be relatively thin and hard, and the gingival portion 20 may be relatively thick and soft. This improves the feeling of wearing. At that time, the dimension E in FIG. 2B may be in the range of 0.01 mm or more and 1 mm or less as in the case of C described above.

If the connecting floor portion 21 is relatively thin and the gingival portion 20 is relatively thick, if the denture base 2 of the denture 1a is integrally formed by injection molding, the thick gingival portion 20 is thin when the resin is cooled. There is a problem that the portion 21 is pulled and distorted. However, in the denture 1a, the denture base 2 is created with a two-piece structure as described above, so that a problem that the thin connecting floor portion 21 is distorted can be avoided. Therefore, the accuracy of fitting the denture 1a to the user is improved.
